Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Anti Ageing Review

Fantastic light weight BB cream, feels great on, priced really well, wonderful time saver as a sunblock and moisturiser and foundation in one.

I was looking forward to trying this product. I've never used a BB cream before but there has been a lot of hype about them and I was interested to see if it lived up to the fuss.

And I was very pleased. I thought it would be basically tinted moisturiser but this had much better coverage. It felt light going on...I used a sponge...and the coverage was good. Didn't notice any fragrance. I used mineral powder over it. Will try 2 coats today to see how that feels. My usual mineral makeup feels very light, hate the mask feel.

So, I like it very much. Easy to use, reasonable coverage, lasts well with a powder over it.

This does what it says, it provides a good even colour. It's a little greasy for my skin, not too bad though.. I got the medium colour, it is a lil bit too dark for my skin but would be okay for going out at night.

I was so excited when I was selected to try out this product. It came in a cute little box, the presentation of the box was simple and explained everything I needed to know. I found the box easy to open inside was a tube with an easy open flip lid.

The BB cream had a nice fragrance not to over powering. I squeezed a little onto my hand the consistency was thick and creamy. I applied a little to my face and it glided beautifully on. The only disappointment was the colour is wrong I received meduim (I am normally a medium) but it was to dark for my skin tone had a tinge of orange I didn't like.

I found the coverage great it hid most of my imperfections even the little fine lines around my eyes, the under eye circles not so much. I have been using the BB cream as a base before applying my makeup and it gives my face a naturally healthy glow. Even better it has a SPF 15 which makes the product more appealing to me. I haven't noticed a big difference in firming of my skin but with continued usage that will change over time.

Overall I think this is a great product and would recommend to anyone and such a great price. I will definitely be buying the lighter shade and continuing to use this product in my daily makeup routine.

Unfortunately my sample arrived after I left to go on holiday so I have only had a few days to trial it so I can't comment on whether it has any anti-aging effects. It does however make my skin feel very smooth & nicely hydrated. As I have been away I have a bit of colour on my skin & so the medium colour I requested is OK but I think a lighter tone would suit me better normally. Would I use it again? - yes though to be honest I think it is more ideal for holidays (for me personally) as it reduces the amount of lotions & potions I would need to take away. I have not tried any other BB creams but after trying this one will do so if only to see how it compares to other brands. In saying that as it did what it said it would I may not need to bother. I marked it down slightly as I personally did not feel the even skin tone was achieved but again that could be because I have just come back from being in the sun (wearing high factor facial sunscreen of course ha,ha) I would definitely recommend it to my friends as some of them can't be bothered with complicated skin regimes so this would be perfect for them. I will continue to use it for a while to see how it continues to perform,

This product is great & I will definitely continue to use it. I've already recommended it! Creamy, natural looking, easy to apply & leaves my skin feeling soft as well as looking fresh & healthy. I can't say that it's altered any wrinkles but I did receive the ultimate compliment from a friend who said she has only seen my skin look so good when I had my pregancy glow. I found that I didn't need to use much as it spreads beautifully. So not only is it a good price but it's economical. This is the first BB cream I've used and I'm definitely a convert. I used the medium shade which blended easily over lighter areas to give a more even look to my complexion. Because it's so light I can see it being perfect to blend my summertime sunglass pale areas into my face instead of the usual 'white eye' look I generally sport without being too heavy on the eye area.

My skin is oily mainly around the T-zone, so products I use need to be non greasy. Cream was quite light going on, easy to apply, didn't feel greasy or like it was clogging my pores and gives me a light even coverage. Price is reasonable, would use again and recommend it to my friends.

I tried this BB Cream; it applies really smoothly and takes the shine away. However, I have really dry skin and after a couple of hours my skin looked a bit chapped and dried out, and the cream 'crept' into some wrinkles and made them more apparent. I have really sensitive, dry skin, though, and I think with a different skin type, normal-oily, this would have been a hit!

My skin type is normal, but I am concerned about ageing. This anti-ageing cream claims to reduce wrinkles, firms skins, evens and illuminates, correct blemishes and have 24 hr hydration. So does it deliver on its promises? I found the consistency to be lovely and light - it really is a wonderful tinted moisturiser, and I think I will definitely use this product in summer time for a light natural look - and it has the benefit of sunscreen too. Applying the BB cream was easy - I just used my fingers. It went on evenly and it was very simple to apply the correct amount too with the way it is packaged. It has a pleasant slightly apple fragrance when you first put it on, but then it doesn't seem to smell at all later on. The coverage is sheer, which means it doesn't highlight any lines - so as I mentioned before I think it will be good for summertime during the day, but perhaps it doesn't provide enough coverage for evening, especially if you have a big night out. I didn't find my skin was any better than before (i.e. the small lines I have are still the same) but it did feel hydrated for 24 hours - I was naughty and left it on overnight and it felt great in the morning! The price for this product makes it very affordable - it is much cheaper than the usual foundation that I purchase. The packaging suits the product - it looks like an everyday cream, rather than a luxury end product. So all in all, while it doesn't deliver on reducing wrinkles (but really what product does?) - it definitely has good hydration and a lovely even tone. I would highly recommend this for day wear, especially in summertime.
