bloody blissful

I really like this stuff. I was tempted a while ago by lovely ladies in the forums and so made an order from iHerb. I'm always looking for new things to make me sleep better so I couldn't wait to try this.

The balm comes in a tin which is kinda hard to open - it doesn't twist off but pops off with difficulty, I'm yet to work out a way to get it off easily. I apply the balm to my wrists, feet, under my nose, my neck, my temples... literally anywhere, and not in that order (if I put any on my feet it's last!). It's easy to get enough on your finger to do this, and it massages in really easily.

The smell is... different. It's not overly lavender-y and it's definitely not overly bergamot. It IS however, a really nice combination of the lavender, bergamot, rosemary... everything. Every scent in this balm marries so perfectly together, and it really is quite relaxing.

I find that the balm doesn't send me off to the land of nod but it does help my brain to relax. A lot of the time it smears onto my pillow, and I can still smell it the next morning. It's a gorgeous product and I'll buy it again :-)

Smells wonderful!

I got this in my GoodieBox a few months ago & I love it! I feel it does calm as it works wonders on my kids. I also use it to massage (although you need a lot of it for that) I love the smell & cute little tin!!

Very soothing

I've purchased this recently and have been using for about a month. I've got to say Lavender is not my fave fragrance but for some reason this blend with the Bergamot is very soothing and calming. I like the way it applies, the balm is very easy to use and you never seem to grab too much out of the pot.

I've been rubbing my temples and also on my shoulders as I sleep with my head tucked up by my shoulder. I sometimes apply to the back of my neck and my throat if I'm feeling particularly wound up.

It doesn't make me fall asleep immediately but I'm very happy as I'm going to sleep way faster than what I used to. I like that it's good value for money and also that it's organic. Thumbs up from me!

It's mid strength, not strong enough to be overpowering, yet strong enough for you to notice it. I'm not a huge fan of lavender but find this not to be horrid.

Is the lavender scent very strong?

Top marks for packaging, product is pretty good.

This is one of those products that I bought because of the packaging. The tin is just too cute for words!

I bought this on a Badger hoard, and it is probably the balm I thought I would use the least, but thought it would be handy to have, just in case.

It's not too lavendery (I'm not a huge lavender fan and I find strong smells do not help me relax).

The balm is a perfect consistancy - it's not runny nor clumpy and it applies really well - it rubs in to the skin and is absorbed well - you're not left with oily residue.

Does it help you sleep? I'm not sure about that - but massaging it in to your neck and shoulders does feel wonderfully relaxing and the smell is calming.

I think part of it's charm is that by using it you're actively focusing on relaxing - you're not checking your phone or tablet in bed!

Tips: Put a teeny dab under your nose or on your pulse points for a relaxing scent.

Love

I love this balm so much! The tin it comes in is so extremely adorable that I had to have it, it looks very cute on my bedside table. I apply a little bit to my temples and wrists when I go to bed and it is very soothing. It smells great and although I'm not sure if it changes the quality of my sleep much it definitely gives me a nice sense of well-being.

Obsessed!!!!

I've got two Badger Balms; this and the stress soother and I have to say I absolutely LOVE them!!

This balm is an organic tin of yellow goodness!! Citrus and lavender are the most prominent scents I can smell from this, it does say that there is also ginger and rosemary in it.

This is the last product I apply/use before I go to sleep every night. I rub and work it into my temples, neck and under my nose (so it's the last thing I smell before I drift off). I can't stress enough how utterly yummy the smell is to me.

A little goes a long way with this rub, it is quite solid so unless you dig into it with a spoon, you arent in any danger of using too much of it and you know its going to last for a long time. I got mine from iHerb for a very cheap price so I will repurchase and 100% recommend to all.

A Gift From Mum :)

I received this little tin of delight as a gift from my Mother who purchased it off Iherb (latest obsession) & when I first saw it, I fell in love with the adorable tin but I was a bit skeptic of the whole concept & idea of a sleep balm made of natural ingredients, when you pop off the lid, the scent is a gentle mixture of Lavender & Bergamot & I was worried that the formula wouldn't be potent enough to have any real effect but this little beauty proved me wrong :) I have had blissful uninterrupted sleep since I've been using it (coming up 2 weeks) & every night I dream & can remember all of it in the morning. You don't need much & the formula is not hard like some of my other tinned products which need a little warming up before you can get a decent application. I put it on my temples, under nose, lips, chest & the aromas are quite noticeable once you've applied :) I am also pleased to announce that my acne prone skin didn't find this product irritating or pore blocking, so super happy that I can apply it anywhere & not break out :) A super gift from a super Mum!

Tips: Get a dream diary! Your dreams get quite vivid & very memorable :)

A beautiful scent

I have a love hate relationship with this product. The fragrance is amazing and smells of lavender. It has not improved my sleep in anyway but the scent sticks around and calms me. Perfect to put on before bed.

Tips: I put this product on my temples before i go to bed.

Natural way to calm and induce good rest

I bought this for my daughter when she was young, and everynight I would put this on her temples before she went to sleep. I kept this beside my bed and used it myself too. The lavender fragrance is subtle, and does not have fumes so no irritated eyes. having this product is a really good step to add to a nightly routine, as I truly feel it encourages restfulness. Seeing as this is a wax there is no risk of spilling or getting product into eyes.

Magic sleepy time balm

I myself am a very restless sleeper. I have tried many products on the maket not only for myself but for my daughter as well. My daughter calls this the magic sleepy time balm and if is feeling abit unsettled and restless asks for it for. By massaging alittle on her temples she relaxes. She and i loves the smell also. Very relaxing fragrance. Highly recommend even those with sensitive skin.
