I picked up this foundation from the Chemist warehouse on sale . In the past I used the matte one . After reading many reviews I decided to give this Dewy version a try . I go through foundation fast these days as I wear it daily to my job.
Packaging comes in a glass bottle with screw top . Consistency of this foundation is liquid. My colour is 310 medium yellow toned dark skin. I’ve been using this for the few months and have almost come to an end of my bottle.
Application is quite runny . Be careful as you tend to pour out more than what’s needed. I find it easy to blend out . I think this coverage is definitely medium to light is buildable . Can become cakes if heavily applied.
It lasts up to four hour and I begin to notice fade happening . It seems to fade out towards the afternoon.
Overall I think this is priced ok . I wish the drug store brands were cheaper for us to buy . I still think their highly priced. I can see myself purchasing this in the near future again.
Gah! I don't usually do reviews of any sort, but I got so excited about how well this foundation works for my own skin that I had to write one.
This has to be my favorite cost effective foundation for the cooler seasons or possibly just in general, I'll have to wait for summer to see if I still feel the same way about it, otherwise I am definitely going to continue using it during winter. Absolutely love it so far!
35 and I have normal-ish to dry skin, more on the dry side during winter. Really recommend if your skin is the same. You have to at least try it anyway. I do my usual morning skincare routine then use Rimmel fix and protect primer. I use a beauty blender to apply my foundation in 220 natural beige as well as the Fit Me concealer in 20 Sand. Feels light, smooth, doesn't cake and looks natural. Plus it keeps my skin looking flawless and hydrated throughout the day.
Tips: Apply with a beauty blender or something similar. A little goes a long way.
