Dove Summer Glow Review

I've been using this for years now, I'm not big on spending hours letting myself bake in the sun so I find this awesome to top up my natural glow I get during summer and amazing for giving my body a light glow during winter. The formulation makes it super easy to get it on perfectly without streaks or blotches, it's slightly greasy when applied but that does disappear very quickly and leaves your skin feeling smooth and soft.

I am someone who cannot bring myself to sunbathe or allow myself to burn (slip,slop,slap and wrap for me!) so self tanners would be great, if I could find one that isnt streaky.

This product is pretty good, it did give me a nice tan but even with proper skin prep I did notice it was a bit patchy in places as it got darker, not overly noticeable from a distance but you could see it close up which could be a tad embarassing.

I used it after a spray tan and it worked really well, it helped prolong my tan which was great so for me this product has been a bit hit and miss so its hard to say if I like it or not!!

I tried this last year in the hopes of getting a nice summer glow, but there was only a very slight change in my skin colour. There was also more colour to areas like my knees and feet, even though i had exfoliated and moisturised. Maybe a better moisturiser was needed? It did leave my skin feeling lovely though, and it didn't have a strong smell like some of the other fake tans. Maybe i'll try again but use the darker colour and a better moisturiser!

I really love this product! As someone who is a little afraid of fake tan, this is perfect for me. It is a gradual tan that I have complete control over. I tend to tan fairly easily (so long as I have time to get out in the sun) so I find this really great at the start of the summer season to boost my colour before I have had the chance to tan up.

Great product if you want a light glow takes a week to notice a difference as it slowly builds up , I would use again this product again

This is amazing, perfect for anyone and everyone. I love this because i am quite fair skinned and do not want a dramatic tan. When i use this product it builds up daily, perfect to get away with using a fake tan. No one will ever know ;)

This product is ok for the price. To get a noticeable difference you need to apply it more than on e. The main problem is that it goes on much lighter than the shade it changes to. This means that you won't notice how badly you have applied it until it has set. Easy to wash off but can be quite streaky. The colour isn't too bad more of a gold brown than an orange.

I love this stuff, it is great for maintaining your spray tan. It's also great if you are wanting to build up a really natural looking tan. It leaves your skin smooth and silky soft. The scent it really nice and doesn't smell like normal fake tanner smell.

I have used this a few times. I find that it's quite a dark colour, so maybe not suitable for fair skin types. The colour is nice but it can be a bit tricky to not get patches as it takes a while for the colour to 'change'. I found around my ankles and elbows particularly patchy but maybe I just did it wrong?! I would use again but here are better self tanning products out there.

I used this gradual tanning product for a number of years. I have very fair skin and this gave me a natural looking tan without being orange.

I applied at night and really focused on applying a light even layer and rubbing it in until it fully absorbed. For a "summer glow" it will probably take around 2-3 applications.
