Pantene Moisture Renewal Shampoo Review

I was probably the PERFECT person to be chosen for this product...I had been a user of the old Pantene for years. So much so that my hair ended up with a layer of silicone coating the strands, and I needed it professionally stripped back. I was sworn off Pantene FOREVER and told everyone I knew to avoid it.. Soooo...I tried this new formula with mixed feelings. I LOVED the fragrance, and after a shampoo my hair felt softer already (note, I have hair down to my waist, there was only enough conditioner in the trial size for one proper use) and after conditioning my hair it felt super soft and had hardly any tangles. I am tempted to buy a full size of each, just so I can give them a more fair chance!

I really liked the smell of this shampoo when I first used it. It cleaned my hair well and did what it said it would do. I don't think I will be purchasing the full size as I don't prefer it over my regular shampoo. However, I wasn't disappointed.

My first impression on this product was the beautiful smell that came to it! I have naturally dry and brittle hair, and when I used this shampoo it definitely improved my hair, making my hair shiny and luscious. I have quite long hair so I wasn't able to get more than a couple washes out of the sample, but I definitely noticed improvement in my hair over those couple of washes. If I wasn't already using salon shampoo Id definitely make the switch to this product :)

I haven't had very long to use this Pantene shampoo but I'm impressed!

The shampoo has a nice fruity smell and the large bottle would be a good a good selling point I imagine.

You don't need much to get a huge lather, maybe it's the amount of sodium lauryl sulfate in it? But it's hard to control the amount that comes out of the bottle when you squeeze! I have found a lot of supermarket brands have this same issue.

I like the way it cleansed my hair, I can't comment too much on the moisture locking as I didn't really notice anything different but it didn't leave my hair in a huge tangle after shampooing.

I was a bit concerned about how my colour might go with it but as I was due for a new colour, I wasn't too concerned. However I didn't notice any colour loss so that was good.

Over all, I thought this product was a good quality and I would buy it again if I didn't buy Salon products. I would not hesitate to buy for my family.

The moisture renewal thing, I am still on the fence about.

It's been years since I've used Pantene and after trying this, I'm not sure why I stopped. After just one wash, my hair was silky smooth and much more manageable. I usually wash my hair every 3 - 4 days and after 3 days, my hair was still as smooth as day 1.

My Mum bought me these after I gave her my deluxe samples I received in the mail, as I turned away from Pantene in my teen years as I felt as it dried my hair out completely and lathered my hair and stripped the natural oils out. Anyway, my Mum was so impressed with them, she bought the full size for me to give a try.

First of all, I love the smell of it, a fresh perfumed but rich scent that stays a few days after washing my hair, which I like.

The packaging is simple enough but feels elegant, with some gold detailing on it, nice click close lid the only thing I feel is that the actual spout of it and the silky thin formula makes it when your tipping it out, that you get a lot more product than you bargained for, and a small amount goes a long way, so its a bit of a waste.

The actual formula is very silky and lathers quite a bit, so you only need a small amount to cover your scalp, I tend massage my head with extended fingers for a few seconds which creates a small foam then I rinse out thoroughly.

I'm left with my hair with loads of body, doesnt feel flat or weighed down like it used to with Pantenes old formula, I tend to leave my hair another 4 or 5 days before it needs to be washed again.

I'm really impressed with it. I will repurchase again.

I received a 40ml sample size in my BRBB and I managed to get 5 washes out of it (you only really need the size of a 20c coin unless you’re Rapunzel). The sample size is a decent reflection of the full size except the lid is one you pull off. I really like that the packaging is soft enough to squeeze most of the product out.

I’ve always loved the smell of Pantene shampoo and this one smells like sweet granny smith apples mixed with a bit of woodsy notes. Compared to the conditioner the shampoo has a lightweight consistency that you can easily distribute through your hair.

It lathers up quite well and rinses out easily however my main issue after rinsing is that my hair just feels straw-like as if I’ve done more damage than good. What’s more is that after I let it air dry I notice a bit of bounce back into my hair but overall my hair looks ultimately flat.

I am not impressed even when I’m done curling my hair HOWEVER once I comb it out with my fingers my hair comes to life. It not only feels soft but looks soft as if I had soaked it in some special hair treatment. If I could I would be happy to repurchase the sample size mainly because I use other hair care that works well for my hair already.

I am not one to try new shampoo or conditioner, but this one had me intrigued. I blow dry and straighten my hair every day which leaves my hair rather dry. One wash with pantene's new daily moisture renewal shampoo and conditioner had it feeling alot morr healthier than before. Cant wait to buy some more!
