Overall, this is a good product because it does the job and cleans my brushes. However, it's nothing special and it isn't really any different to washing your brushes with anything soap based such as face wash, or hand soap. The packaging is square and so it is very difficult to squeeze out the product from it's container. How much you get out of the container is also uncontrollable because it just squirts right out in huge blobs or not at all. Squeezing a normal tube is fine but when I try and squeeze the product out of this, since it's square, the edges are sharp and so it actually hurts my hand which I'm not impressed with.

Tips: Mix it with water to dilute it
Overall i think this product is good, it does the job, isnt strongly scented and you dont need to use heaps, but i think theres nothing special, no wow factor especially in comparison to any other brush cleaner or soap used to clean makeup brushes. I think if i was to use it again it would only be for convenience and price point
This elf brush shampoo worked really well at getting oil based makeup out of my makeup brushes and bacteria. It has suds in it so it works the same as if you were shampooing your hair. Nice and cheap and safe to use on all kinds of make up brushes. I would use this again and recommend it to a friend.
Tips: For oil based foundations and concealers, really work the shampoo into the brush for a good clean for really dirty brushes you may need to shampoo more than once.
I was really excited to try this product as iv heard a lot of people raving about elf products and I have never tried them.
Anyway I was quite impressed with the brush shampoo. It didn't foam up at all which I wasnt too worried about (as I learnt when doing hairdressing a good product doesn't need to foam up to actually work) . It removed my make up really well. I was actually a little worried about how much make up was coming out of my brushes. I didn't need much product at all, I probably only used about a pinky nail size.
I applied this to my palm, wet my brush slightly, swished it around my palm a little and then pushed my fingers through the bristles from the base of the brush to the end of the bristles and it worked really well.
I found the shampoo to be extreamy thick it was probably the thickness of hair gel and it was quite hard to remove from the bottle. I had to tip the bottle upside and shake it really hard a few times to actually get a little dot of it out. If I was wanting to get a decent amount out I would probably be enclined to tip it upside down and leave it for a while then come back to it and wash the brushes.
