I am in LOVE with this product, it is a great Foundation to use, it has a range of colours for certain skin tones which is great for everyone. It's lasted throughout the day for me, however towards the end of the day it started to transfer off, but this was very minimal in comparison to other products that I have tried. It's at a reasonable price, I think I only paid $20 for my bottle. At the end of the day it was a great product to use and I highly recommend it!

Tips: A little bit goes a long way, you don't need to apply a heck of alot to your face.
This is one of my favourite everyday foundations. It's probably the best drugstore foundation I have tried, and it's a great option for those on a budget. The packaging is great, and the pump ensures a hygienic application. The glass bottle makes it seem more expensive than it really is, the only issue being is that its quite heavy and not very convenient for travelling. Onto the foundation itself: its consistency is quite thin (compared to other foundations), it has sheer coverage and feels very light on the skin (which is why I find it great for every day), and the coverage can also be built up by applying another layer (and it doesn't even look cake-y). Because it has such a light coverage I've found I've had to apply concealer under the eyes and anywhere I get redness. It's not very long lasting (although my skin can get quite oily and this is my issue with lots of foundations) and I have to use a primer and set it with a powder for it to last all day. This foundation creases easily under the eyes so setting it with powder there is a must. However when applied to a base of primer and set with powder it will last all day with minimal touch ups. It's super easy to blend, and I like applying/blending this with a beautyblender which gives the foundation a flawless, airbrushed finish and one pump is enough for my whole face. One thing I've noticed is that when I first applied it in dots on my face I noticed it looked a little.. dirty? (just seemed like a dirtier shade compared to swatches of my other foundations). But as I blended it in I found that it looked incredibly natural and the colour was almost identical to my skin, and it looked fresh and not at all dirty. It has a fresh scent, which I really like, but people who are sensitive to scents might find it annoying as it's quite strong. Overall, I really like this foundation and I have been using it for almost a year. I find I have to replace the bottle every three months or so. I would absolutely recommend to everyone, especially those who are looking for a light everyday foundation. I have repurchased this several times and will probably do so again in the future.
Tips: - Apply it to a base of primer, and set it with powder, especially under the eyes - The coverage can be built up by applying a second layer with tapping motions
My everyday foundation. Finding a foundation for my skin is always hard. Im very pale! I wear this in shade porcelain and its a perfect match. Easy to blend I usually use a brush anf then go over witha beauty blender. Perfect drugstore foundation
I purchased this in the shade porcelain after reading amazing reviews online about a drug store foundation, pale enough for very fair skin which is me to a tee! I was nervous purchasing as I couldn't swatch it. Which is something I normally do when buying a product for the first time, especially a foundation. I wasn't disappointed either. This shade is prefect for my skin tone.
It comes in a glass tube with a pump. Very hygienic and easy to dispense the right amount out. The only downside for me is the smell. It's not particularly pleasant but not noticable once you are wearing it.
The foundation is what I would regard medium coverage, it covers some of the redness in my cheeks but not all. It works well matched with the translucent matte pressed powder to give a nice natural look. It can be a little drying on so moisturise and prime your skin beforehand.
This foundation is very good value at $20 and it lasted well throughout the day. Yes I would recommend this foundation.
I absolutely love this foundation. It is great for everyday wear when I don't want to use a more expensive, high end foundation. Great coverage, good consistency, very affordable and great on any skin type! Amazing.
I love this product, its perfect for everyday wear and blends well. It does have a light coverage but builds up well, although I would suggest no more than two layers to achieve a medium to full coverage. Use it with Rimmel match perfection concealer and Rimmel stay matte pressed powder for a truly flawless finish!!
This is an excellent quick fix foundation and is likely suitable to all skin tones. I have pretty oily skin, and I find the Match Perfection to be a nice dewy foundation, yet it's matte enough for someone who tends to experience excess shine as it's not very reflective and sits well on the face. I'm not exactly sure why, but I expected the coverage to be on the lighter end, but it's definitely on the higher end of being a medium coverage foundation. There are probably better ones out there if you need a bit more coverage, but for mostly normal to slightly oil skin, it's very flattering. I believe mine is in the shade Warm Ivory, which is the slightest bit dark for me although I'm not even that fair skinned, so be mindful of picking the right shade. This foundation feels excellent on the face and keeps your complexion even and your skin smooth, so this would probably work for someone that has a lot of discoloration. It's on the wetter end, but it blends smoothly and evenly into the skin, and is the best bang for your buck.
This foundation has a runny, but a thick consistency! I would compare it to runny honey! It has a nice and subtle fragrance, which i like and is easy to apply with the pump nozzle. It goes on smoothly and last the whole day. It gives my face a dewy look, and it smooths out my skin tone and i think it makes my skin look healthy! Its really worth the money, as i find a little goes a long way with this product! I have olive- dark skin, and i found this foundation matched my exact skin tone, which can be quite difficult! However, i found the dewy look turned into an slightly oily look in warmer weather, so i use this foundation as my winter foundation and that solves the problem.
Love this product so i do recommend it to others :)
I love this product, light to medium coverage, with a dewy finish, apply powder for a more matte look. It makes me look awake and doesn't cake on my skin! The first time I tried it I wasn't expecting huge things, but I now love it, and will definitely repurchase again and again.
This is a foundation that has truly impressed me, to the point where I’ve repurchased (a first for me, as I usually like to try out different things). It’s a great everyday foundation, which looks natural, and wears well.
One of my favourite things about this is that it has a few fair shades, and the lightest one matches me perfectly. I’m NC15ish in MAC shades (sometimes a bit lighter), and most light foundation shades are too orange or pink, or oxidise throughout the day. However, I have shade Fair Ivory in this, and it is literally perfect; not even borderline dark. So that’s a huge bonus in my books!
The packaging is sleek and feels quite expensive in my opinion. It’s a glass bottle with a blue plastic pump and removable slanted cap with the Rimmel crown logo emblazoned on the top. The pump works perfectly, and gives a generous amount of product – usually I just use one pump for my whole face, but it’s so easy to control the amount that if I need more I can just pump out a little extra without wasting another whole pump-full.
This foundation has a fairly runny liquid texture, and I find it applies best with either a damp sponge (I use my RT sponge) or fingers. Because it is quite runny I find a buffing brush can make it look a little streaky, although it’s still possible to use it, but fingers or sponge blend it seamlessly and make it easy to build up the coverage. One light layer provides light-medium coverage, and evens out my skintone nicely, but it definitely is buildable, and by adding a bit more on areas that need it I can get it to a more medium-full coverage without looking cakey. It has a light cucumbery/slightly sunscreeny scent, but that disappears soon after applying it.
The finish is very natural and what I would describe as satin-dewy. I do set it with a light layer of powder (at the moment I’m using Australis Fresh & Flawless), and I find it lasts a good 4-6 hours before it starts looking a bit shiny on my nose (I have dry-combination skin). If I use blotting paper it holds up for another good few hours, and so I’m quite happy to wear this out all day. It doesn’t make me look like I’m wearing foundation or heavy makeup, it just makes my skin look radiant and even, which is exactly what I want in an everyday foundation.
The SPF does show up in flash photos, so I don’t wear this on nights out or if I know there’s going to be flash photography, but it’s perfect for everyday wear (and in that case the SPF is a nice bonus).
Overall, thanks to the colour match for my fair skin, the lovely natural finish, and the reasonable price (about $22 at Farmers), this has definitely taken the spot of my current favourite foundation. Apart from the SPF flashback, it’s something I’m happy to wear on any occasion, and I definitely would recommend it to others!
