I absolutely love this as an extra foundation layer on a night out. I occasionally use it by itself as well. It does have a sparkle to it though so I keep it for nighttime use

Tips: I apply with a beauty blender sponge for an airbrush finish
Went on well but found it didn't blend in very well and quickly felt like it was melting off. Purchased this for a wedding thinking it would give a better finish than my Covergirl, but it didn't turn out that way. For the price of the Photoready you could get two of it! May work better for those who know how to get the best result out of these sort of things. Felt gunky and heavy, skin definitely didn't like it but I'll give it a few more goes to see if I can make it work.
I find that Revlon PhotoReady is fairly similar to Colourstay, only not quite as long lasting and with a slightly lighter formula. Revlon, as always, has a decent range of shades for paler skins - probably the only chemist brand that does. Coverage is medium to full. Not quite as good as Colourstay, but still one of the best "drugstore" foundations.
Well this is for you! I go off and on foundations and this is always in my makeup bag. Just one pump is enough to cover the face I like to use it with a brush and blot it onto my face. It gives a good coverage and I find it stays on for an entire working day. It covers a lot of my skin sins which is the main reason I like to use it. It is thick and this is why I find a brush application gives a much better finish. It is easy to use and doesn't need much working. Would recommend to anyone who loves good coverage!
Tips: Blot don't Brush as this liquid shows streaks. Enjoy x
Eh they say what works for some...
I bought this due to the cool pump that dispenses very little product at a time which i thought hey no wastage! The price was reasonable and as i already love the photoready primer i thought maybe.. just maybe i could share a little loving for this particular product.
I found the consistency to be that of most other foundations but when you put it on it feels really watered down, the coverage wasn't too fantabulous and all my blemishes were still clearly visible to the naked eye... eeeeek such low coverage how can it be???
I feel it was wrongly advertised as i didn't recieve 'the airbrush finish' and in fact looked like my face could do with a whole lotta photoshop to look 'photoready' in this.. :P
I do like the fact that it smelt like nothing, I can't stand overpowering smells on my face so that's definitely a plus. But unfortunately this isn't on my re-purchase list, and i actually don't think i will finish the bottle either...
Revlon didn't quite nail it here. Strange consistency, it says oil free but seems to feel oily when you're applying it! It's also quite glittery and sparkly which can look strange, and sticks to random patches (not necessarily dry ones either)
I found this foundation very thick and sticky to apply. I have semi-sensitive skin and after about 2 hours the foundation had lifted from my skin and was just sitting on top. It also created dry patches. I usually use Revlon so I was very surprised at this reaction! The colour did match really nicely though and had a good tone! Would be a great foundation if it doesn't react to you like it reacted to me!
Tips: Go to your local supplier and get them to colour test you then leave it for the day! If it still looks good by the end go back and get it but if it doesn't then you have saved $40! :)
The packaging is nice and simple and it comes with a little pump which makes it easy to get the right amount of product. During my time of using this I preferred to use a flat top brush to buff it into my skin as I felt with a damp beauty blender it became really patchy and created a terrible coverage.
I also found that throughout the day, even with setting it with a powder or setting spray it wore off quite unevenly giving you that patchy look again within a few hours. For the price I would definitely recommend to try the colourstay range, I only tried photoready as a shade 'nude' matched my tan perfectly.
I felt this was a medium/low coverage level, and I didn't like the finish it gave built up as it looked cakey very quickly, and gathered in your drier areas of your face. The formula itself is suppose to be more natural/dewy but I felt it was just a bit glittery rather than creating a natural glow.
Overall I would not call this photoready, I still have half a bottle and will probably end up throwing it out.
this is my favourite foundation to wear when heading to a party or to an occasion where i know my picture will be taken. some times i can look a little oily in photos but with this Foundation my skin looked amazing! like something out of a magazine
This foundation is perfect for an alternative night out skin look as it photographs really nicely and stays on for a decent amount of time. I used this for my school ball and even though it has SPF 20, I didn't come out shiny in any of the flash photos taken so I'm super happy with this foundation :) I have combination skin and I'm not sure whether I would recommend for use on dry or oily skin without the use of a decent primer for purpose of quality of wear.
