A good medium coverage foundation. I didn't like that you can't screw the lid off when the product stops coming out of the pump! So much wasted product!

I like Revlon foundations they are all I normally wear but im on the fence with this one , the shimmery bits in it are super annoying an I end up with shimmer all over my body and also things i touch when is annoying , it does have a good med-heavy coverage . I don't like the pump its so much wasted product left in the bottle .
I have used this foundation regularly for ages. Some days I love the finish, other days it seems to break down really fast and just not last the distance with my oily skin. I like the packaging, the pump is good. On days when this works for me it gives a really nice light to medium coverage with a nice finish on the skin. The product blends out well.
You got it sparkles galore, anyone who detestes sparkles stay clear! This is a great light weight foundation, so if you have great skin this will compliment your natural features. It does give you a natural 'glow' however it is in the form of a glitter bomb.
I think the idea of the sparkle element is to let the sun /lights catch you in more flattering angles. I found I did have to keep reapplying this product which annoys me as I never normally touch up throughout the day.
Tips: You do need a powder to set this foundation as it gave a kind of 'dewy' finish on my skin. It's an ok foundation for day time, for night time use it would need a primer and multiple layers to achieve the desired effect.
Bit of a mixed review of this foundation. I only ever really use it when my skin is clear. If i have a bad skin day/week i dont use it as I find that it makes any dry patches on my skin really stand out and seperates on my face regardless of how i apply it BUT when my skin is nice and clear it feels and looks good and gives a nice coverage. I also use a setting powder which seems to ease up the extreme sparkles in the foundation.
I brought Revlon Photoready in shade 3 (shell), after having my makeup done by a friend for an event.
I was very disappointed,it was like the two products were completely different. All I know, was they were both two different shades. I am unsure if that is the reason why my Shade (3, Shell) is horrible.
It just does not last!! At all!! not even paired with a great primer. The coverage is meh, the consistency is okay but the way it applies just does not look right. No matter what I use, Fingers, Brush, Beauty Blender, it just looks streaky and patchy.
I love Revlon, am I am hoping that this batch was just bad? Because I want my face to look flawless just like it did when i used a different shade.
After hearing so many good things about this foundation, I couldn't wait to try it out. While it did look good when first applied, on my skin it started to look cakey very quickly. It separated on my smile lines and emphasised wrinkles that I don't even have yet.
I did love the shade though, it's one of the few foundations that has ever been a perfect match for me, it gave a slightly dewy finish and did look amazing in photographs (before it started separating). I'm undecided about whether or not I will repurchase as my skin has changed since when I last used it.
I have quite dry and sensitive skin and normally stick to using mineral foundation but I saw this at a local pharmacy and they had them at 50% off so I thought what the hey always good to have a backup foundation. This liquid foundation came with a little pump which was easy to use and pumped out the product cleanly and easily (no clumping and building up at the end of the pump). The product felt quite light and fluid and had quite good pigment. I applied using a stippling brush and it was very easy to work with and blend in. I felt this was a medium type of coverage but didn’t cover up my dark circles or the lovely giant zit I had on my chin that required some extra concealer. It was buildable but I think you would have to be careful as it did kind of sit in some places and gather around any areas that may be a bit drier. The finish was quite shiny for me, I do normally like a dewy finish but this was slightly shinier than I like almost glittery. I also found the wear on this foundation wasn’t that great, it had sort of all fallen off my face by the afternoon and looked like I hadnt applied any. I didn’t set with any finishing powder or anything so this may make a difference but I did use a primer first before applying. There was no real fragrance or anything that caused any irritation to my skin. All in all I wouldn’t rate this foundation but for the price I got it for I cant really complain. Will be something I will keep as a backup only I think.
This used to be my old go to foundation until i saw myself glistening like a disco ball in the sunshine one day. This stuff is Twilight sparkly and I don't recommend it for natural every day wear. In saying that, it's great for wearing out at night when you can get away with a bit of sparkle. The texture is nice, it doesnt come out of the bottle too fast and about one pump can cover the whole face. Its easily buildable for full coverage. The pump bottle can be a bit of a pain as you need to pop the lid off to get out the last of the product, its a lot harder than it sounds. It wears well during the day and doesnt make me break out. As for being "photo ready" it makes me no more photo ready than my regular foundation
Tips: Set with powder for less shimmer
This foundation is good for short periods of time like 4hours. i found even with using a primer setting powder and finishing spray it still tends to move and seperate at about the 4 hours mark. i dont purchased this anymore for that reason as i have a foundation i just simply prefer better than this one
Tips: Good for short periods of time
