I was so excited to try this product and I ended up very disappointed. It made me look so orange and had a weird shimmer to it that made me look like a fairy. I ended up using this just as a bronzer and only applied it very lightly. It was also okay as an eyeshadow but it did tend to crease quite easily
Tips: Use as a bronzer and apply thinly and build up if required.
I am dark skinned and found Thin Lizzy too orange for my skin tone. You could tell I was wearing it and it didn't contrast well. I did not find it good as a blusher, eye shadow or face framer and rather than a healthy glow I looked like I was ill. I also found the brush terrible, the bristles fell out so I'm not sure what happened there. I gave it away and it really looks lovely on my friend I must say, just not the right product for me
Tips: Try before you buy to see that it does work for you
I have been using thin lizzy for years. I wouldn't rave about it but I will still use it. I don't really wear foundation but put a little bronzer on each morning before going to work. I find it rubs off too easily on clothing etc. I don't use much. I may not buy another one but want something to replace it with. What is another option???? Has anyone out there tried share cover????
Despite all the hype surrounding this product, I found that it didn't suit me at all. I tried both the light and dark shades and I just looked like a Oompa Lompa. I tried to use it just as a bronzer to see if that would tone down the orange but I didn't have any success. I wouldn't buy it again.
No matter what the Ads try and tell you this is not for the whole face, it does not replace eyeshadow (unless you like sunburn orange eye sockets), it will turn your cheeks orange and dont even think about using it as a lipgloss... it is terribly sparkly and its only real use is for contour/bronzing and for medium to dark skintones at that. Even the slightest swipe of the light looks dirty muddy and orange on me and did I mention the sparkles?
Tips: Worth purchasing for the brushes alone as they are great quality contour brushes the gloss/pencils that come with this are just horrible quality.
This brand has become a household name for the last 20 Years. Its almost iconic as its creator Suzanne Paul. You all know the saying "Thousands of luminous-spheres", that illuminate your skin for that sun kissed glow. This product is convenient to take with you any where. I love to use the dark 6 in 1 for a more intense bronzed up look , this is a fantastic contour as its super blendable and easy to build up the intensity you prefer. I use the light 6 in 1 as more of a natural daytime bronzer, for a beautiful flush of colour all over the face just to warm up my complexion and give a bit if definition to the face. I love using both colours as transition colours through the crease with my eye shadows. I also love using the dark 6 in 1 as an all over body bronzer. If you haven't tried Thin Lizzy, its great value for money and you always get free gifts when you purchase which is great bonus.
I wasnt not overly fond of this product, mainly because it can get plotchey fast specially if you use it as a blusher.
While I liked thin lizzy I didnt like its claims that it could be used as an eyeshadow and lip colour.
I really enjoyed the brush that comes with it and the eye pencils. I used thin lizzy as a contour(despite its shimmery-ness) and a blush and while it wasnt easily blendable with a little patience it turned out quite nice. With a light hand it can be quite buildable
This is just not for me i find it looks super orange and patchy because it doesn't blend out well for me, I just use it for bronzing my body sometimes, I don't like the brushes they leave hair all over my face the lip gloss is gross and the eye pencil is okay but i have better ones. but i do quite like the mineral foundation one use it sometimes for just a quick trip out and i want a little coverage but again i dislike the brush.
Tips: Try it for yourself, my mother is obsessed with thin Lizzy and has used it for many years i guess it just depends on the person
