I quite like this foundation, however I will explain why I gave it the ratings I did.
Did it do what it said it would? Yes. It is a nice, medium coverage foundation that I suppose I would find easy to blend if it weren't for the fact that the lightest shade I have come across in store is 120 (Classic Ivory) which is too dark and too yellow for me. It gives a natural finish though and doesn't feel caked on when applied. Has a nice, fresh, dewy finish.
Would I use it again? If I can find somewhere that has testers and has the lightest shade available, I might consider it, however I also prefer to wear medium to full coverage foundation, I thought I'd try something new for a change!
Would I recommend it to a friend? Probably, if it's what I think they were looking for.
I like this foundation but I can't seem to match my skin tone. 115 looks like the right shade but when applied its slightly too light and seems to wash me out and 120 is far too yellow for me. However with bronzer it looks nice and isn't to heavy at all
Tips: Test it before you buy, maybe at a makeup station or chemist
I tried the powder stuff of this first and it really did not work with my skin! However, I then tried the liquid and it was ALOT better! In my opinion it blended better. I do like it and would definitely use it again :)
This was one of the first foundations i started buying when i got into make up and i liked it alot, teamed with a powder to set it looks nice and natural but not too cakey. and they have a decent amount of shades
Tips: dont cake too much on as it looks gross. buff into your skin and set with a powder
I have been using this product for 2 years now, i usually only wear it when i go out or for dinner or something like that, just because it tends to make some parts of my skin breakout. Also i found when i wore this out although it gave me great coverage it made me very shinny and it felt a little heavy.
Tips: maybe buy some kind of powder to but over top to minimise the shine
I have combination/oily skin and this product did nothing to help that. The colour match was pretty good and I liked the full coverage it gives. I will use this on days where i want more coverage but i have to use a mattifying powder during the day to combat shine.
Tips: Buy something else if you have combination/oily skin.
The Maybelline Fit Me Foundation is one which I have been wanting to try out for a while now, but I have found myself quite disappointed with it. The coverage is extremely light and luminous, thus terrible at covering up any imperfections or tonal inconsistencies. I had to apply several layers, as well as concealer and powder, to achieve a finish I was happy with, only to have the foundation appear greasy and decidedly un-'flawless' after a few hours. It's redeeming qualities are the excellent range of tones, the wide availability, and the SPF protection included in the formula.
Tips: If your skin is naturally clear and you're looking for a product to enhance luminosity whilst offering light coverage, this may be a good option to explore. Be careful of the runny formula when opening for the first time, and I would recommend a finishing powder in order to set the foundation once applied.
I use this foundation as a base, or a primer before applying a better, more full coverage foundation for then I go out. I apply it with my fingers and it does even out my skin tone really nicely before putting on a full face of makeup. I have worn it a few times on its own, but it doesn't quite give me the coverage I need to feel absolutely confident.
Tips: Be careful with colour choice, spend some time trying to get the right colour as I ended up with one that looked right in the store, yet it is a bit too dark for my skin tone
I am not a big foundation user, but this product is awesome. Really smooth and easy to use. Never looks clumpy or too much. Only one I buy!
Tips: I always use moisturizer first
