MAC Pro Longwear Concealer Review

This has been added to my list of holy grail makeup products. I seriously had no idea what i was missing out on. I purchased this from duty for for $32.....worth it!

I am nc30 in foundation and was color matched to nw25. I asked the makeup artist if she could please try both nw25 and nc25 under each eye. The difference was amazing! The pink undertone (nw) totally got rid of my dark under eye circles where as the yellow tone(nc my normal tone) gave an ashy grey look.

Its a nice thick texture yet easy to blend. Its sets so well on its own. Although i do still like to set it with a powder. It covers up my dark circles perfectly. It lasts well all day and never creases.

Ive heard a lot of complaints about the pump. But mine works fine. It does get stuck sometimes but im used to it now.

I am so in love with this and will definitely be re-purchasing. HIGHLY recommend!

This is the only concealer I use around my eye area simply because I think its the best! The shade range means there is something for every skin tone, and the formula is amazing. I have always had a problem with concealer creasing under my eye, but this product just doesn't. It is a creamy, pigmented, and easy to blend formula. I could not live without this product and I believe its a fair price because the bottle lasts ages and a tiny bit blends out a lot! My only negative is I dislike the pump as it is hard to get a small amount of product out.

I purchased this direct from the US Mac website (using Youshop to get it to NZ) after hearing so many rave reviews about this product. I wasn't particularly hopeful as I always find concealers are either not high coverage enough, look dry on my under eye or settle into my fine lines and I have had many hyped up products disappoint me. This pleasantly surprised me and really lived up to the hype!

I have very fair skin and dark under eye circles and this is the best thing I have found so far at concealing them. I purchased the wrong shade initially, but ended up with NW15 which is a good match for me.

The packaging is nice looking and I love that is comes with a pump, but, I'm a little worried about breaking the tube as it is thin glass (and I'm clumsy and have seen horrific pictures online of broken ones). The pump also dispenses far to much product, which is a bit of a pain as this is an expensive product and I hate wasting it.

I found this covered my dark circles well, is high coverage, lasted the entire day without creasing and maintained a nice looking finish. It is a relatively liquid concealer and is super easy to blend into the skin and foundation seamlessly. I like that it is creamy as for someone like me with dry skin it leaves a much better finish than some drier concealers. It does however smell a bit like paint, but, I only notice this initially not while wearing the product.

I will definitely be repurchasing this and would recommend it to all. I really didn't think it would live up to the hype, but, it does! It is expensive compared to most concealers, but, it lasts a while and really is worth it as it does the job like no other!

It was love at first pump for myself and MACs pro longwear concealer. It gives damn good coverage with a tiny amount of product, yet doesn't look heavy or cakey.

Prior to purchasing MAC pro longwear concealer I had tried a few drugstore concealers, from Maybelline, Loreal and Thin Lizzy. These certainly all concealed, but they did look heavy and cakey. My main concern is undereye darkness and redness on my cheeks and chin. After my latest tube of Thin Lizzy had run out, I decided to try MACs pro longwear concealer, mainly to see what the hype was about, but without particularly high expectations. I slipped it in with a Nordstrom order, so it cost me $25.

The packaging is well, MAC. Sleek and functional. It is glass, so I certainly don't keep it in the bathroom as I can imagine it would break easily. The product is dispensed through a pump, which is hygienic and mess free. The product itself is slightly thicker than foundation, but thinner than the Maybelline and Thin Lizzy concealers. It is creamy and very easy to blend. Somehow this product manages to be both lightweight and full coverage, and that is what sets it apart from other concealers. It covers dark circles, redness and acne scarring with minimal amount of product, but leaves a flawless yet natural finish. It is not heavy or cakey and doesn't add a heavy feel to the skin. This holds its coverage throughout the day and does not crease or oxidise.

This product is totally worth the hype and I will be repurchasing.

This is the best concealer I have ever used. It works so well with my oily skin. I use the NW15 and its the perfect match to my skin tone. I'm a bit of a tight a** but this is so worth the money. Its lasted me ages too. I have a really red nose and I'm very self conscious about it but this has been the only concealer that actually covers it and stays on all day. Love love love it!

I love this concealer! It says its long wearing and man are then not wrong! I use this a shade lighter than my foundation to cover my under eye circles and to brighten up my under eye! This can crease if you use too much so make sure you use a small amount at a time to get the best results! If set with a brightening powder this is my absolute fave way to brighten up my face! Def go check it out if you are on the fence!

It seems expensive, but it is worth every penny! It doesn't cake or settle into fine lines. I've found that I did have to go a shade lighter and on the cool side too because my skin is oily and shade NW25 (my skin tone) oxidises on my face (makes me go slighty orange). Haven't had this problem with NC20. Blends flawlessly

I have been on the hunt for a concealers that actually covers my dark under eye area. I am an NW20 in MAC Studio Sculpt, and when I went in to get matched, I ended up with NW25 in the prolongwear concealer. at first i thought it looked too orange, and wasn't so keen, but when i looked at it in decent light, I realised that it was doing amazing things for my purple under eye area. So I got some and brought it home. I am loving this concealer. It last for ages, doesn't move (I use primer of course) and blends in really easily. I am thinking about getting the next light colour as well so that as I get paler I can blend the 2 together. Yeah it not cheap, but it does seem to last for quite some time, especially as I don't get to wear makeup every day.

Love this concealer, i use it under my eyes and on over my nose to help the foundation stay on, I have oily skin and this concealer doesn't budge all day. Will definitely be buying again

This concealer has a high coverage which hides everything from dark circles, to horrible volcano pimples. It is a very thick consistency which allows the pigment to be impeccable. this doesn't have a fragrance which is a bonus for sensitive skin. This formula is easily spread but dries very quickly so blending is needed quickly after applying. The packaging is a small vile with a pump which pumps the perfect amount to apply to the chin, nose, brow and under eyes. The smallest amount of product creates a flawless look. This product requires to be set with powder otherwise creasing will happen. Overall, this product is amazing and is great for evening looks.
