MAC Pro Longwear Concealer Review

Although it is on the expensive side, you get a lot of product compared to other concealers. This concealer is a much dryer formula, and sets itself well for long lasting coverage. Covers blemishes well, under eye circles usually requires a couple of layers to cover decently. Really good shade range as usual from MAC.

If you want a product that isn't going to budge this ones for you!

This product comes in a small glass package with a pump top. First off, I dislike the packaging, the glass can easily be smashed, and the pump usually dispenses too much product.

Getting past that though, the product inside is great! It is super long wearing and once it sets, it wont budge! Its a creamy formula, with high coverage, that drys down to a matte finish, which can be drying on the under eyes so prep well before use!

I do love this for under the yes though, particilaruly on days where I need my make up to last, and is a product i will always repurchase.

I also like to use this all over my face on a lazy day. I pump a small amount out and spread it under my eyes, on my cheeks, chin and around my nose and it provides amazing, budge proof coverage, evening out my skin tone easily without a full face.

This concealer is an all time favourite! It is full coverage and is a thick liquid formula that is great to use on the bags under your eyes and for spots as well!

It has a nice tacky finish so that it clings onto the face but it also works really well as an eyeshadow base as it removes discolouration and the eyeshadow can stick to it. It blends out nicely onto any foundation but you will need to set it with a powder!

The only thing that is a bit frustrating is the pump. you cant do half a pump and I find that a full pump is waaayyy too much product and I have ended up wasting some.

$40 for $9mls sounds like a lot of money but because you only need a tiny bit and its a full coverage concealer, I definitely think its worth it!

Great product, AMAZING coverage and I love it so much I'm on my second round of this product. It's great in the under eye area and it's also great as a concealer to cover redness/blemishes (and it doesn't make me break out - bonus). My two irritations are: 1) The pump sucks. It squirts out far too much product which is wasteful! I can't always master a teeny press on the pump to get the perfect amount. 2) I can't get quite the right colour. I've got NW20 and NW25. One is too light, the other too dark, so I have to mix them up. dumb! That aside, this is the best concealer I've used.

This is one of those concealers that is hard to find or rather hard to dupe by other companies. The coverage this gives is quite high and so good. It does settle a wee bit fine lines i find and is also quite drying but not such a great extent where i wouldn't use it again. I don't think its long lasting like it claims because by the end of the day my dark circles would peep through. The bottle looks tiny but it will last you so long because you only need a little bit or else it can look a little cakey. What i hate about it though is the.. PUMP! I hate it so much that i pump it into a pottle so that I'm not wasting it when i don't use the full pump. Also the price for its size is a little off putting but thats why its an investment. Its an awesome product. Just make sure you set this with powder and its good to go. You also do kinda need to have a great skin for this to sit on your skin flawless but other that that, its just fantastic.

this product colours any redness i have or any undereye circles the only problem is its very hard to get a little bit of product out and always seem to get to much

Can I just start off by saying...WOW! This concealer is FANTASTIC! I read a lot of reviews before buying because as we all know by now makeup in nz is extremely expensive compared to the US and Uk, so I wanted to know I was getting my money's worth. I thought that such a small pump wouldn't last me very long but I have had it for a good 7 months now and I use it every day and it's still over half full! A little bit goes a very long way. It's perfect for highlighting the face and your regular concealing and what more could you want! I did read in reviews that it was high high coverage and I have to say I disagree with that, it has a very reasonable coverage but I would say about a medium coverage which you could build up to a semi-full coverage, but none the less I love this product. I tried the studio finish concealer and although Mac is my #1 brand I absolutely hated it so my hopes weren't very high for this concealer but it is now one of my holy grail base products and I'm glad I took the plunge to buy it, It is the best under eye concealer I have tried in a long time and it covers blemishes reasonably well, and like the name suggests i find it stays a long long time! Sometimes on those no-makeup makeup days I will apply a primer and then spot conceal with my Prolongwear concealer and I'm good to go, I find I don't even need to powder this concealer it sets so well! I am in the shade nc15 (sad I know) and it is just the perfect shade, mac is very well known for their amazing colour range and I firmly agree, this product is definitely one of my #1s I would recommend to anyone wanting to try it.

Absolute favourite concealer, although I haven't used much else since I discovered it. Definitely covers my under eye circles and doesn't crease, the only time it feels cakey is when i put far too much makeup on and its my own fault. Light enough to wear on its own. I use nw20 as got colourmatched at MAC, but feel I should be another shade down. So expensive to get another, but when you have the right shade it lasts forever. One pump is tonnes!

I really like that Mac has a wide range of colours and undertones so you always find a shade that suits your skin tone. I hate the packaging, the pump always pumps out too much and i feel like i waste quite a lot. I don't like that it's glass because I feel like it'll break really easily. It's good as an eyeshadow primer and doesn't crease on my eyelid but I find that it creases under my eyes. It's a good full coverage concealer, it's thick but doesn't look cakey

I bought this to try as I'd never found a concealer thick enough to cover my undereye circles. What surprised me about this was the consistency of the product. I found it really thick and creamy and a little went a long way. It lasted all day without any creasing. I used the Mac prep and prime and Estée Lauder double wear foundation and all products worked well together to get that flawless finish.

I used it to highlight also and it worked great. Just to add some definition around the Cupid's bow.

Great product, will be repurchasing when I run out!
