Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free Review

The first thing I noticed about this was the packaging. It's so long compared to the other tubes! Not sure why but I think having it the same size as the other Garnier BB creams would be better as they fit easy into small bags.

The product comes out through a small nozzle which is great as you don't get too much product out in one go. I was a bit unsure when trying this as normal SPF products leave that gleamy feeling.

However this product is amazing! There is none of that shiny after looking from the SPF and for a BB cream it gives amazing coverage! My skin looks flawless and soft when using this. This product is my favourite out of the BB creams that I have tried and perfect for oily combination skin as I put it on in the morning and during the day the product doesn't loose coverage or make my skin shiny as other ones have done in the past

First impressions. I was a little bit shocked with how liquid it was when I first tried it so it came out super fast and being Garnier I was expecting a delicious scent however it's very nuetral - which I feel is a positive as it means we're putting less chemicals on our skin.

Application Was really easy and a little does go a really long way; which is thanks to my first error of judgement - the product being quite liquid and smooth. The colour blended really well with my winter skin tone and I didn't feel like an ooma loompa or a vampire - very happy medium of perfection.

Wear It is lovely to wear and once it sets it has a great matt finish which almost feels like a powerered product. I quite like that kind of finish too which gave it extra points. It worked well and really gave a fresh no make-up type look which isn't just in for this season is suitable for doing those school runs etc where you want to look presentable but not overdone.

The lost point: This was due to one thing...and that is my oily skin eluded the product and even though it took some hours shine did come through. I didn't have any breakouts which I do sometimes get if changing products which was a huuuuge relief.

I received this as the trail . it comes it really good packaging easy to get product out and use and you will be able to use every last drop by squeezing it out so i like that theirs no lost product .

the consistancy was very thin i spose youd call it. it didnt give me the medium full coverage that i like or hide my redness so I had to put on about 2-3 layers an it looked too much ! after a full days wear at work (office job) my skin was very oily around my nose an forehead even though i applied with rimmel matte powder .

No-one could tell me what a BB cream was - not a foundation, not a primer, so what then? Still not really sure but it does what it says on the tin. Pores gone, red patches gone, nice and light but good coverage. Totally happy to wear alone or under foundation. Lasts well enough all day at the weekend but on my oily skin in office aircon I did touch up in the afternoon at work. The box is not attractive. I'm not sure i would have picked it up in a shop based on the box! Also the product is very runny. After the first time opening it there was product all over the lid and you have to be careful when using. Crucially I think it might make it onto my essential list :)

I got to try this as part of the trial and I'm delighted! I have tried the anti ageing version and also the sensitive and while I loved them they just weren't right for me, now I'm convinced that the oil free version is my miracle in a bottle. First up I love the longer tube it's a great way to differentiate Garniers BB creams. When I first used this one I found it a lot runnier than the others but hey that's all good, it blended into my skin instantly and so easily I was pretty much hooked from there. I got the light colour and it's pretty close to what I need, I have been using it everyday since I got it and I've now put my other BB creams away! This is my new favourite! It covers my redness and my scars pretty instantly and I'm even not using as much concelar, my skin is feeling great and looks great too, towards the end of my day I usually get very oily around my t zone but so far so good only a tinsy bit of oil and that's right before I take my makeup off for bed. Overall I'm totally convinced with this product it's true to its claims and I definately will continue to use it and tell others, thanks BR I love it!

I've tried a couple of BB creams over the past year, but I haven't been completely satisfied with a product. Obviously, I was delighted to find this in the mail, as I had heard rave reviews about it.

What I liked: I really love the runny texture of this product. I've been using Revlon's BB cream, which is a really thick paste. The Garnier BB cream flows easily out of the bottle and goes on smooth. I found that the first few times I used it, I used too much! I'd recommend starting with half of what you think you need, and then building from there.

The BB cream gave great coverage and was amazing on my complexion. I'm a redhead with freckles, so I often find foundations a bit weird on my skin. The BB cream lets my freckles show through naturally, while evening out the ruddiness in my cheeks and other blemishes.

Garnier claims that this product: 1. Hydrates for 24hrs 2. Evens tone 3. Corrects blemishes 4. Boosts healthy glow 5. UV Protection SPF 15

I found it did almost all of these things. My only complaint is that it didn't moisturise my skin especially, and certainly not for 24 hours. I found that, if not really thoroughly worked in, the cream sat weirdly on top of my skin without sinking in. I found it best to apply the BB cream immediately after moisturising (I use coconut oil) for best results.

My only other comment is that it would be great to have a higher SPF factor (see above: redhead). The Revlon BB cream I have is SPF 30, so I may switch to that on really sunny days.

I really like this product. I have pretty normal skin with oiliness in my T zone. It does what it says it will do by reducing imperfections (Doesn't cover completely, I use concealer for any bad redness or acne) and provides a matte finish. This BB cream doesn't make my face oily and the matte isn't too matte which is great as it keeps your face natural. The formula is light and feels great, just like wearing any face moisturiser. The only downside to this product is the packaging. It is in a tube with a twist lid with quite decent sized hole where the product comes out and because the product is quite thin and liquidy in consistency, a lot of product can come out at once and can get very messy. A pump bottle or a smaller opening in the tube would work better for this product.

I will update as I use the product more but so far I like how this product instantly hides the redness in the skin because it is quite yellowy based I am fair so it may still be a little dark for pale skin but that makes it good for summer and night time when we can get away with a darker foundation. It did help with oily skin and has a great coverage and evens out skin tone. I have not used it often enough to see long term results I really like how there is 40ml in the tube most foundations only hold 30ml so that makes me more inclined to buy. Much better then the bb creams in the other wider tubes of this brand

I like the product for the fact that it is easy to apply, and isn't heavy. Working in a corporate environment I don't like it for an all day, flawless skin look, I feel it isn't great as a foundation alternative for work but in the weekends or popping out at night for a few hours it is perfect.

I'm a busy active professional and love this BB Cream. It is easy to apply - goes on smoothly with coverage that evens out my skin tone. It has great moisturisng qualities and doesn't leave me with that dry makeup look. because it has such a smooth consistency, I only need a little so find its lasts months. Slightly perfumed with a pleasant smell but again not enough to irritate my sensitive skin. I generally do not need to reapply it unless I have something else on after work and need a bit of extra coverage. I do like the fact you can apply a second layer if you wish. I am happy the product delivers what it promises and have been using it consistently for over a year now. It is quick and convenient to use and travel -safe in the plastic tube.
