Stays on all day!

This is my regular everyday foundation. I love it! I have quite sensitive skin and find I don't react to this foundation. Its goes on beautifully and is easy to blend. It lasts all day with no need to reapply.

Tips: A little goes a long way.

Color stay stays

I've repurchased this so many times, I always find myself coming back to it. It lasts all day/night, gives great coverage and lasts for ages - what more could you want really?!

Reliable Drugstore Foundation

I absolutely love this stuff! I have a very fair complexion so sometimes finding a foundation that will suit my skin can be a bit of a mission but this formula is fantastic. It applies like a dream with either a stippling brush, Beauty Blender or sponge, sets well without appearing caked on and with very minimal to no oxidisation at all. I love how this looks fantastic no matter what my skin is doing though, I would recommend moisturising and using a primer if you do have fairly dry skin but in saying that, I do occasionally get very dry patches but this foundation hasn't seemed any more affected by it than any other foundation I've used. Overall I think this is a fantastic investment for ANY makeup kit- beginner or master :)

Favorite foundation

I have been using this for years and have tried others and always come back to it. I find that this lasts longer than any other foundation I have tried. Lasts about 7-8 hours, definitely not 24 hours as it claims but then what foundation does. It dries quickly when applied and I find that I can't add any more on top as it just takes the bottom layer off so you do have to move pretty quickly. I think this is moderate to full coverage but if you apply to much can look a bit thick. Revlon does have a great range of shades. For a cheaper foundation it works great.

Tips: Make sure you visit a pharmacy or farmers to get colour tested. Use a primer.

cheap and great!

I love this foundation for a casual day to day wear, not only is it reasonably priced but it also has very builable coverage. I would recommend Revlon colourstay to anyone who is looking for a cheaper option, whether it be you can't afford high end products or you just want something cheaper to use when you are just chilling around the house

Revlon colorstay 24 hour foundation was long lasting and i would use it again. It stayed on more than other foundations I have used, and has a nice coverage.

Long-lasting, great coverage

I have Revlon Colorstay Foundation in the shade 200 Nude and its my perfect colour and coverage at the moment. It has a medium coverage and dries fairly matte, though I still set it with a powder.

I apply it using a buffing brush, application is very easy as the formula's consistency is fairly thin and spreadable but still manages to maintain a good coverage.

It blends well with my contour and blush and the SPF20 is always a plus.

I think the star quality of this foundation is its longevity, it manages to stay put all day. I'd say its fairly comparable to my MAC Pro-Longwear but without as much of the price-tag. I wouldn't say its 'cheap' but its certainly a more affordable option, especially if you use foundation on a daily basis. I also own the Revlon New Complexion Foundation and the Colorstay Mineral Mousse Foundation but this one surpasses both by a mile.

The only real downside to the foundation is its notoriously horrible packaging.. Revlon, if for some reason you end up reading this, please give this product a pump. The screw lid and wide top ensures that I end up pouring three times the amount of make-up I need onto the back of my hand and I have to debate whether to get rid of the excess, scrape it back into the bottle or just put it all onto my face in a desperate attempt to not waste it all.

Love the product, hate the packaging.

Tips: They also sell a formula for Normal/Dry Skin which is also good.

Great product

I have Revlon Colorstay Foundation in 200 Nude. It is suited perfectly to my pale complexion. The foundation provides a good even coverage and blends well. It dries nice and matte and covers small blemishes well. I combine it with Revlon Colorstay pressed powder for a long lasting look. It can be difficult to achieve an even coverage with a foundation brush so I often use my fingers to blend well. It's good value for money too.

Great everyday foundation!

I purchased this a while ago as the lady told me it was a relatively good priced foundation that has good coverage and is good for your skin. I tried it and loved it immediately! It's easy to apply and with the right primer just smooths onto your skin even better! The oily/combination specification is really good too, it works with my skin even on bad days. Some parts of my face are oily and others are normal and it just works! Easy to blend and there are lots of shades to easy to find the right one for you. The only thing I find is that you really do need that lunch break touch up, if you have super oily skin as well it definitely needs a good powder over top, as well as a touch up.

Tips: Make sure to use a good finishing powder over the top, and also don't wear this one when going out at night unless you're going for a ghostly look as the SPF makes you look really white :)

Beautiful finish

I'm not really the kind of person who goes for full coverage foundation, so I love that this foundation is easy to sheer out, but is full coverage for those occasions where I'll need it. I love that theres no SPF, as I have a medium skin tone in winter and a dark skin tone in summer, and get the most horrific flashback. Colorstay photographs beautifully and if anything becomes more beautiful the more time it has on the skin. The finish, when I get oily, goes from a matte finish to a satin, so I prefer this foundation when its been on for a couple hours. Classy packaging, as you'd expect from Revlon, glass container with an easy to use pump which makes it easy for those who like to have their makeup hygienic. I prefer to apply it with a stippling or flat kabuki brush depending on how much coverage I'm wanting. Theres no offensive smell as far as I can remember, or that I noticed too much. I've actually accidentally slept in it before (oops) and in the morning my makeup actually looked exactly the same as it did the night before.

Tips: Be careful what foundations you mix into it. Most of the foundations on the market these days are silicon based but I attempted to mix this with MAC Face and Body (water based) a month or so ago and got the most horrific oxidisation.
