I like this foundation but only with certain base products underneath. If I use it with the wrong moisterizer it looks too powdery and even patchy sometimes especially if my skin is needing some exfolation. However, when I use it with something thats more oily it looks good on my combination/dry skin. I Like to use the nivea blue tin moisterizer underneath this foundation and it gives it a beautiful finish with a bit of a glow effect. I use the shade classic ivory and I think its great, I don't have issues with it looking too orange like I sometimes do with other ivory foundations. I like the way the matte version of the fit me foundation ranges dries down so it's not so slippery feeling and is more transfer proof. It's not super long wearing on me and does get a bit more dewy as the day wears on like alot of foundations but nothing a bit of powder can't fix. I think this is a great affordable foundation for everyday use.

Tips: Keep skin smooth with regular exfoliation so this doesn't cling to dry patches.
I like how matte this foundation makes my face but I don’t believe it left me poreless even with a primer underneath. Good for it’s price though and lasts well on my face through the day. Good go to basic foundation
A great foundation for those just getting into makeup. It doesn't irritate acne prone or sensitive skin. It is however a little drying so skin prep is key.
This foundation is my first try of Maybelline. Maybellines one of those brands you can easily online or at most chain stores. When they launched this new line last year I was interested to see what this would be like. I purchased this in a bulk lot from Trade me because I like bargain hunting. Typically in New Zealand foundations can be priced medium to high range. Theres always other ways to try and find foundations and at an affordable rate like at Red Bucket sales etc. My skin type is dry combination with large pores. I get acne every time I try a new foundation or skincare product. Thankfully not with this one.
This bottle is rectangular in shape. Glass streamlined bottle with Maybelline on it. Has a detachable lid.I went for Sun beige. Its a perfect match for my skin tone. This formula is a runny liquid. No scent at all.
I like to use this foundation with my beauty blender. This smooths out nicely across my skin. It feels like medium coverage on my skin. It did begin to fade out for me. Only dry spots I had was on my acne and scarring . Kind of odd because its never happened to me before. My skin appears to have a matte finish with this. Its not really poreless on my skin and I think thats what I envisaged. Like a primer foundation in one.
Overall for me it was definitely good for a matte finish. I think a primer is still required as it does show pores. I think its priced fairly. I wont be using this again as it didn't last long enough for me. Still I believe it is great value for your money and one bottle lasts a very long time. Im still trying to get through mine.
Tips: Be careful with taking off the lid. It does splatter easily.
Matte everything is the big trend at the moment, and a matte foundation is the perfect thing for us oily skinned ladies. This product certainly reduces the appearance of pores and provides great coverage, however I find that it refuses to stay put on my face no matter what primer and setting spray I use. It moves around on your face a lot and slides off very easily. So overall I'd say it's a fairly average product that looks good when first applied but certainly won't stay looking that way all day.
Tips: DEFINITELY use both a primer and a setting spray with this product so that you can at least prolong how long it'll stay in place.
I bought this foundation at one of the makeup sales as I had been looking at it for a while and wanted a cheap everyday foundation. I found the colours for lighter skinned ladies are either too grey or too pink. I went for the more grey option as my skin is already quite pink but it still wasn't quite the right colour (maybe I need to try a different colour). I found the coverage was medium which is good for everyday wear for me but I would choose a more high coverage foundation for the weekend. It is a fairly matte formula but I still use a light powder as my skin can be quite oily towards the end of the day. I will mix with another foundation to use the bottle but probably wouldn't purchase again.
Tips: Make sure you colour match correctly before purchasing!
Traduire This is a decent drugstore foundation. It's not undetectable on the skin though... It has a very foundation-y look...that's not terrible but I wouldn't call it a poreless finish. I prefer L'oreal Pro Matte but this one is much creamier and therefore easier to blend than the L'oreal one. I have well behaved but slightly oily skin, this has decent lasting powder on me but I'm pale and cool toned so the color match was only so so. I don't reach for this much but I'll use it up eventually as it wasn't bad but didn't wow me in comparison to my other go to foundation for a matte look
As someone who has oily skin, i decided to give this a go. It has a great colour selection, good coverage and definitely does mattify my skin. However, the many different ways i have tried it it always seems to reveal every imperfection on my skin, including pores i never knew i had- which is despite the coverage i have refrained from using the foundation again :(
Its a good foundation but not for me. Its not a full cover as i would want it to be its lightwait amd didnt cover all the marks that i wanted.
I didnt stay all day and i smears as soon as tought my skin. I had to use a lot to layer and it just didnt look right for me.
I would have said this was the best affordable foundation I had tried except for some reason it would not set at the top of my forehead!
I bought this recently when I flew to Australia for a wedding without my make up bag -_- and had to buy everything in one go from the chemist warehouse. My sister-in-law managed to pick this shade on the second tester (thank god for testers!) and it looked like a really good fit and felt nice on. When I applied it on the day after priming, it went on nicely all over my face. I then started applying some contour/bronzer and while everywhere else on my face was fine, the product at the top of my forehead came off on the brush. I reapplied the product on, let it sit for a few minutes while I worked on my eyes etc then went to apply finishing powder and the same thing happened. In the end I just reapplied the product again and didn't put anything else over the top for fear it would move again! It looked good and stayed in place throughout the rest of the day so all's well the ends well, but it was quite a stressful experience that I've never had before and don't want to repeat again!
