Oh my sweet goodness. This foundation has changed my life. I was use to having disgustingly oily skin that wouldn't hold foundation, reapplying every 45 minutes and a blotchy nose from worn off foundation. It made wearing foundation a chore! Then the most lovely counter lady from my local life pharmacy suggested Lancomes Teint Idole Ultra 24h, and it has made me a new woman! My skin looks and feels flawless all of the time, I don't look cakey or orange. My skin holds the foundation a lot better, my nose ALWAYS has foundation on it, and although I still do get a wee bit shiny it's nothing that a bit of blotting can't fix. This is the perfect foundation for my skin and thank you Pip (counter girl) for the fabulous suggestion!

So I have tried a lot of different foundations and never really feel in love with one so kept playing the foundation field. But I finally tried the Lancôme teint idole ultra 24h after a recommendation by a friend. I got colour matched at the Lancôme counter and I have never looked back. The best foundation ever. Feels great and light weight on my skin whilst evening out my skin tone. I have a oily t zone which is kept at bay. Blends well and the foundation lasts all day.

Yes it's a bit pricey ..... but it's worth every penny.

Teint Idole Ultra was my first high end foundation, and years later with a '24h' now added into the title it is still my #1 foundation and it has always had great staying power. I have it in 02. I used it again over the weekend after having been unfaithful and using 2 other brands of foundation on a regular basis of late. I really don't know why I bother with the others. This one is the best. It glides on easily, hardly needs buffing at all. It dries well so it doesn't rub off so easily and definitely lasts for 24hours - bad I know but it was the first time in years I've gone to bed with makeup on! And it looked great still in the morning! I love that this foundation is light and thin but provides maximum coverage- it makes my skin look flawless with a matte finish. I can see how it can be drying but I think that is how it lasts for so long on your skin- I moisturise before I apply this and again after removing and my skin seems to be fine (I have pretty normal skin). I have noticed with some other foundations that the colour oxidises and turns a bit orange looking by the end of the day, this has never happened with this foundation. I don't feel that the fragrance is to strong, in fact I really like it. I cannot fault this foundation at all- give it a go for great coverage and a perfect finish.

My friend has been recommending this to me for so long and I finally took her advice and got colour matched. This is now my absolute favorite foundation!! I have oily to normal skin and It sits so nicely all day!! It blends seamlessly and is really buildable for when I'm after something a bit heavier. You really dont need to use much either, a pump is more than enough for a decent coverage for work. The bottle is so nice, the pump dispenses the perfect amount and its so lightweight too!! The biggest bonus is it doesn't clog my pores and make me break out!!! Definitely recommend!!!

After long consideration I’ve decided to buy a cult foundation and I chose this lancome one, I usually use cheaper brands or bb creams and I find they do the job just right, but I wanted to know what I might be missing out on. I’ve ordered it online from a reputable site and sadly didn’t get the colour match right, however I still wanted to give it a go and see what the consistency/coverage is like and what all the fuss is about. I gotta tell you this has been one of the worst foundations I’ve ever put on my face, for me personally. It was holding onto dry spots so bad, I looked like a zombie who started to rot, the feeling of it was also paint like, very thick, wasn’t easy to spread. The coverage was all right, a medium I’d say and it didn’t oxidise at all. Scent wasn’t very pleasant. I wouldn’t recommend, I expected more of it.

I am addicted to this foundation and the flawless finish. It's so easy to apply and no mess with the pump and you are not wasting any as a little at a time. I have few capillaries I don't like and they are now covered for flawless complexion. Lovely fragrance and non greasy. And the foundation goes a looooong way. Highly recommend you pop in to a pharmacy and give it a go. You won't look back.

This had been at the bottom of my makeup bag for a couple of years and I recently just rediscovered it. This foundation has a slightly yellow undertone to it, probably why it has sat at the bottom of my bag.... However I have found that throughout summer, with a slight tan, it is a perfect colour for my skin tone! I find that it hides my purple blemish scarring extremely well. It stays all day and is oil free so does not look all greasy by the end of the day. I have hardly had to touch this one up, unlike the double wear which slipped all over the place!

I tried many foundations before setting down with this one. It's easy to apply, looks great, SMELLS great and holds up against the heat. I wear foundation during the day and work in a job where it gets hot a lot so need good coverage not only over the scars on my face but needs to stand up to a bit of heat sweat from time to time. This foundation does all that!!

This is fantastic foundation. I have sensitive skin and this is just perfect for me. Its doesn't dry my skin,gives an even cover but with a natural look so you can still see my freckles. The price is alot higher than what I like to spend on foundation but the product is definitely worth it. I don't even cringe having to pay for it because I love it that much.
