Picked this up a while back as I love anything to claims to offer a "glow" super cheap, love the packaging as super easy to put into your makeup bag + travel with. This makes my skin look amazing, I'm super fussy with foundations, so hardly wear them - however I love this one! gives a natural, yet flawless looking skin - not caked face, yet provides a nice buildable coverage.

Reviews
I was excited to be picked for this review. I had been in the market for a new foundation for a little while now but I was finding it hard to find anything better than my HG tarte water foundation.
I expect a lot from my foundations. I want them to be lightweight but buildable. I don't want them to be cakey and I want them to last. Is that so much to ask? Also I prefer a medium coverage.
For reference I have combo skin leaning more towards dry.
First up the packaging. It's a cute little squeezy tube and its actually fairly handy for travel. I'll probably take this overseas rather than my tarte since it'll travel better and I'm less afraid of this smashing everywhere.
The colour match for this was pretty good - likely one shade too light (bronzer helps) but will probably fit me perfect in the winter time.
It's a very running foundation and I went with my usual method of applying primer (Guerlains Lor) and then using my booty (heh) blender to smooth this out.
If you are expecting a full coverage foundation this is not for you. It actually says on the tube it's a medium coverage foundation and I found this light to medium. It's buildable without being cake and it did a good job of covering my pores on my cheeks. My concealer also layered on top nicely as did any powder products I applied after.
I wore this all day on Saturday from 11am all the way to 9pm. Baby shower all the way to the pride parade where I was shaking my butt off to the music and trying to get a selfie with Jacinda.
I did notice some oils creeping through particularly on my nose. While it didn't settle into any lines I felt it didn't do much to smooth them out either. Next time i'll try to add a bit of powder to these areas to see how they fair. My number one this is that is DID NOT oxidise on me which in the past i've had huge issues with loreal foundations doing that.
All in all I actually liked the foundation and will keep using it.
The packaging of the L'oreal Paris Infallible pro-glow foundation is rather cheap looking. In my opinion, its not a cheap foundation, but it definitely looks it from the packaging. I really love that its SPF as well. The first thing i noticed when applying this product was that it was very chemically smelling. I almost didnt want to put it on my face from the smell. The consistency was just right for a foundation, not too liquid-y but not too thick. It applied very well and i only need a small amount to cover my face. From the small amount i got the right cover hat i like which is around a medium, but of course i could have built it up more. The shade blended well into my skin and it wasn't obvious that i was wearing foundation which is awesome. It did have a little but of a sticky feeling, it wasn't too bad. In regards to lasting, i wouldn't say it lasted 24 hours... but i dont need it to. It lasted me the day at work which is all i need. It is a good foundation but i have used others that are more affordable and give me the same outcome.
Tips: Only need a small amount!
I was very excited to be chosen for this trial. I have spent alot of money in my time trying to find a foundation to suit my skin. Definitely great for dry skin, I have had trouble with other foundations leaving dry patches and this one didn't. Nice medium coverage. I was worried it was going to be too light as it's quite a runny liquid but coverage was good. Lasted my 12hr work day which is great!! After using for a week I am more than happy and can see me buying it when I run out.
Tips: I tried with and without a primer, lasted longer with a primer and I felt it was better wuth a powder on top
I've been using the LOreal Infallible 24HR MATTE & TOTAL COVER for over a year so was stoked to be chosen for this trial! I was very nervous picking a colour and found the website recommended for the trial team very helpful - when it arrived it was a perfect match for my skin which is a miracle in itself! (204 natural buff) Which leans more towards a yellow skin tone instead of pink - LOreal is one of the very few that cater to my skin tone. I have Melasma (dark irregular pigment patches) all over my face from sun damage so foundation is something I struggle with as it seems to highlight these patches instead of blur or cover. I also have dry flaky patches & an oily T zone at times.
Thats my backround - now for the product: I was suprised by the runny consistency compared to my other 2 foundations. It felt very lightweight to use/wear and would recommend for people wanting a light/medium coverage or even first time foundation users. You can build it up over areas you need more coverage. Great foundation for during the day but personally I would prefer more coverage/heavier foundation for a night out. Ive used it over a light day cream with SPF15 and it did well mostly staying in place till dinnertime. Then I tried it with a heavier hydrating moisturizer and found it didnt hold quite as well and my oily T-zone was an issue but it didnt grab onto my dry patches like other foundations which was a nice suprise! And another combination I tried was my light day moisturizer, primer and setting powder and it did the best with this combination lasting well into the evening with good coverage. So in terms of 24hr wear I would say more like 12hr if you do all the prep work. And where my pigment patches are concerned I was very pleased that it didnt seem to highlight them but blur them slightly instead so thats a clear winner in my books! The finish of it is 'dewy' which is different for me but I liked it. Overall I love it for daily use and it will now be a constant in my makeup drawer! Thank you Beautyreview & LOreal - great trial
Tips: Be careful when you decanter as it runs out quickly and use a light non-greasy moisturizer underneath.
I loved this product. I've been using revlon colorstay for about 9 years and haven't found anything that was remotely as good on my skin. I really enjoyed this foundation and will definitely repurchase. Considering I picked the color from an online swatch, I was very surprised that the color actually looked the same on my skin. I got sand beige as I have some yellow undertones and this was perfect. I found it didn't oxidize either, and stayed true to color throughout the day. The consistency is quite runny, but the coverage is good, so I found I didn't need much product. I applied with both foundation brush and using my fingers and preferred the brush application to get a nice even coverage. The coverage style is true to the description, about medium, but gives a really nice even color with a slightly dewy look. Very natural. I found applying a thin second layer under my eye helped with my dark circles. I would still recommend concealer to cover spots. Setting with powder helped it look flawless for longer, but I mostly just left as is and I still looked like I had foundation in at the end of the work day, don't think it would live up to the 24hrs though!
Tips: Don't need much, I found it applied better with a foundation brush. Set with powder for a longer finish.
When this product arrived, I originally thought that I had chosen the wrong colour, as it appeared much lighter than I expected, but it turns out that it was perfect for my skin tone. The coverage is incredible on me, and covers all of my problem areas, easily lasting my entire work day. I have no issues with oily skin, but do have a lot of red tones, which were covered easily over the entire day. In certain dry patches, you could see the cracking by the end of the day but only if you looked at my skin from a fairly close distance.
The liquid was easy to spread, and you don't need much of it at all to get great coverage. The best thing for me is that even though I have sensitive skin, I had no reaction to this product at all - I'm definitely keeping it on my product list!!
Tips: Wear a primer and don't skip it - it does make a visible difference in how the product appears on your skin, especially if you have dry skin in areas.
I have had so many comments on my skin/makeup while wearing this foundation it is crazy! I was excited to get a spot reviewing this, as I have spent sooo much money lately trying to find a foundation that works for me (and failing miserably). On first glance, the packaging is pretty cool, nice and sleek and simple - and easy to hold and dispense product. After shaking (which does definitely make a difference in application once you read the back of the tube properly!) used a damp beauty blender to apply it over top of a pore refining primer. The coverage is actually lovely, definitely a medium coverage, but covered my redness and the majority of any breakouts I had going on. Once it had dried down it didn’t feel like I had anything on my skin at all and didn’t look cakey or powdery at all. The real test was when I wore it to work. I’m a beauty therapist so have to wear a decent amount of makeup daily. A lot of the time my foundation is mostly gone half way Through the day. The only thing I noticed with this was that my nose had a bit of a shine to it which wasn’t unexpected. Overall I love this foundation and will use it again.
After using my regular foundation for years, it started going on my skin blotchy, so I switched to this. It goes on so smooth and lasts the entire day.
Tips: I use a makeup sponge to apply this
I've been using this for ages! It's definitely worth the hype. I have combo skin, more dry than oily and I really enjoy it. Normally my skin is quite picky and tends to react to new foreign produtcs but I had no problems at all. I use a beautyblender and it is amazing! It has pretty medium coverage and is buildable to full coverage. I think a little goes a long way. It is quite liquidy so be careful with it! I do however, set it with powder. I don't think it clings to dry patches or feels heavy on the skin. Overall, I love this! I'm onto my 7th tube since finding it.
Tips: Use a beauty blender and set with powder.
