Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation Review

Once this stuff is on your face its not going anywhere, its got your back. You can sweat, cry, get caught in a storm, rub your face, try on 100 white turtleneck sweaters - still gonna be there.

The consistency is not too thick, fairly runny - which makes it super easy to apply, and buildable (although it is necessary to work quickly with this!). Its described as medium coverage, but for me, its quite full - I find this can erase my whole face with just one layer. amazing.

The longest I have ever worn this is about 18 hours and it was still looking pretty fab by the end of it - it's matte but not flat, and it never separated on my chin, or stuck to dry patches like other foundations normally would,

This is honestly one of the best foundations i have ever tried. i have combination skin and tend to get oily in my tzone during the day. With most foundations it shows through but with this one I never have to powder my tzone. Has medium coverage but can be built up with layering.

Simply put, this foundation is amazing. As a super light skinned girl I often have problems finding a shade light enough for me. The range in light shades is amazing! And caters for different skin tones aswell.

Medium coverage but very buildble. Its semi matte but dosnt stick to any dry spots. It lasts a full day at work and then some.

It is a little on the pricy side but I feel its worth every $$.

The bottle is glass and is a simple classic, appealing design, the only downfall being if you like a pump this has to be purchased separately.

How, HOW have I never found this foundation! I have oily/comb skin which means any foundation I use tends to melt off my face but THIS IS A GAME CHANGER!! Leaves my skin flawless, hides my dark pigmentation, has no scent, lasts all day with no touch ups required, buildable for the nights out. Only cons- I wish it was higher SPF and if I accidentally forgot to take it off I may get a spot or two in my Tzone. Otherwise I wish I had found this foundation earlier as it is seriously amazing!!

I am a huuuuuge fan of this. I would have to say if cost wasn’t an issue and I could pick any foundation I wanted I would pick this.

I love my shade and I’ve never ever felt let down by the solution. It’s one of the only foundations ever I have scraped the bottom of the barrel to finish it off... or more perhaps desperate that it hasn’t run out.

It’s a a nice creamy consistency but it covers my flaws in one go. I have a few pigment marks that need to be covered and this amazingly covers them with no touch ups needed.

It feels quite light and flawless to wear yet covers well which is another standout. Doesn’t feel greasy or oily and stays quite matte during the day so even with wear you don’t get that oily, cracked makeup look.

Coverage for me is full coverage I don’t have bad skin or a lot to cover but it does cover what I need it to well so I don’t often tend to go for anything else but medium coverage makeup.

It does everything I need and want from a foundation.. apart from being affordable. I use to use this all the time when I worked and we had 2 incomes nowadays there’s less time in between purchases given the price. It is amazing so if you can splurge for this go for it.

After using Diorskin foundation for years they stopped making it and I was forced to find a replacement. This was so hard for me but Doublewear was one of the first foundations I was recommended and the second one I tried. Haven't looked back since. I have ivory skin with a yellow tone which is very hard to match but doublewear shade 1N0 is perfect for me Topped with their translucent powder my skin appears flawless and my makeup stays put all day. Top marks from me!

Working in the cabin of a plan is a very dry environment and can be very hot work (sweaty eww not glamorous). This is the only foundation I have found that 1. lasts all day and 2. still looks amazing at end of shift.

I love love love the coverage! I have freckles, some may say cute (NOT), but this is how I judge a good foundation..can it cover my freckles? The answer YES and bonus without looking heavy!

The only thing I didn't like is because it has a matte finish it can get a little dry. Especially if you have fine lines. I feel it does enhance these are the day goes on. So a good setting spray is a MUST.

Amazing range of colours to perfectly match your skin tone. Having warm, neutral and cool tones makes a huge different in finding the perfect match.
