Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation Review

I was in need for foundation for my wedding day. I was told Double Wear is all you need. So i went to the Estee Lauder counter in farmers and asked if they could find my shade for me. They gave me a sample to take home and try out. Wow is all i can say. I only had to use a tiny little bit, coverage is great! It just glides on so smoothly and feels like you aren't even wearing makeup. I had to stop myself from rubbing my face because i forgot i had makeup on. It really does last all day. I didn't have to top it up at all. I accidentally slept in it too ( I know naughty! I was tired and fell asleep haha) To my surprise it was still perfect the next morning! I cant wait to wear this on my wedding day and every other day too :)

I have probably used a few foundations in my life time and with all of them I haven't been quite satisfied, until now. I was using studio fix before doublewear and boy oh boy I am thankful for converting! Lucky enough I didn't pay $75 for mine because it was a gift from duty free - I think it was around $50-60. This stuff I amazing. I gives me a full coverage that last the whole day or at night when I cake a little more on it last the entitle evening. It makes my skin looking clean, fresh and smooth. It really does give a illusion of the perfect skin. So happy I have found my holy grail foundation. Will keep using this forever And have recommended it to all. Love it.

I love this foundation! I like that it is buildable coverage so it can be a light coverage when you're wanting a more natural look but can also build it up to be full coverage. I wear this pretty much everyday and love how it stays in place I even go to my dance classes and it still stays in place. I also love that with this foundation I don't even have to put any concealer on because it covers all of my blemishes and redness. This is definitely my new holy grail foundation!

I love Estee Lauder Doublewear foundation. I have freckles and always use a foundation to even out my skin tone. It certainly evens my complexion, does not melt or wipe off and is a great base on which to apply my makeup. My skin feels natural, it doesn't cake or crack or feel sticky or clammy at all. I dont know what else to say about it other than I would not change to anything else! A little goes a long way, a bottle lasts me approximately 6-9 months, even though I use it most days so the cost of $90 (less my Farmers $20 voucher) is totally worth it for me.

Tips: It's quite runny. The only flaw about this is the bottle. So watch out because it comes out quite quickly. Lastly a lot goes along way, so don't do what I need pour too much out lol

After a lot of talk about Estee Lauder Doublewear on Social Media sites, I decided to stop hearing about everyone talk about how amazing it is and actually go try it! Before purchasing the product I got a sample, which I recommend with any foundation as your colour in store won't always be the same in natural lighting.

Day 1: I feel in love, it applied perfectly. I always always like a foundation I can apply a small amount and build up, and I found Estee Lauder Doublewear allowed this.

Now, my biggest want out of a foundation is how long it can last. With Combination Oily/Normal skin I get a lot of problems with foundation lasting longer than till my first morning break! I checked on my foundation part way through the day to be shocked it was still sitting on my nose, let alone the rest of my face. By 5pm, it was not far off still being as perfect as I had applied that morning.

So this is a 10/10, it's a bit pricy but to me it's perfect. I don't have to worry all day about foundation missing off my nose and looking like a clown, I don't have to worry about touching up throughout the day.

Looks as good at the end of the day as what it did in the morning.. slight wear on my nose from rubbing but probably the best foundation I've ever used. For such a good coverage it is still light and flexible on skin.. came on beauty review to find a good foundation and so glad the reviews steered me to buying estee lauder double wear as the reviews were right :)

I had heard a lot of great reviews about double wear and wanted to try it for a while. First thing first - it is as good as everyone makes it out to be. I got colour matched in store which was awesome. The product itself is very long lasting. No touch ups required. If you sleep in it by accident after a long night out, it won't end up all over your pillowcase and you will probably look the same as the night before. Pleasant smelling. You only need a small amount to cover your whole face. It really is a full coverage foundation. I have had many comments about having 'perfect skin' while wearing this. It doesn't dry out my skin or leave it oily.

I first off have to admit I'm pretty keen on reasonable coverage, and Estée Lauder's double wear fits bill perfectly it gives great coverage, it's not at all oily and lasts from morning through till going out on the town ( with a wee freshen up of course ) I would highly recommend this for ladies that like a bit coverage with their foundation.

Got given this from my mum as the shade she had didn't suit her face tone so she gave it to me and it just happened to be just the right shade for me, gosh I must say this is probably the best Foundation I have used and OMG it glided onto my face so smoothly I ended up just using my middle finger as I thought the sponge I had wouldn't be the greatest since it had other foundation on it. There was no smell to it really and I found that I didn't need touching up thro the day and still at the end of a day my face was still looking pretty. after the bottle had finished I went to Ballantynes to see how much it was and OMG it is very expensive, so didn't end up buying and don't ever think I could afford that much to spend on foundation even though I found it was the best I had ever used. I think ill just stick to my budget range. lol but overall far-out this one is a goodie !!!

This foundation is a fantastic all rounder, you can wear it light or build up for evening wear if needed, I've tried to change but nothing compares to Doublewear.

Although the price is up there, it lasts really well & can be used sparingly to still get medium cover.

Because the SPF is rather low in comparison to other foundations, when getting a photo at night, your face doesn't come up bright white with the flash
