MAC Pro Longwear Concealer Review

HG concealer alert!!! This concealer is amazing! I've been using another cover up concealer for a while now and noticed it always looks cakey and thick on my under-eye. When i tried this out for the first time i was shocked at how much coverage it gave me yet it felt so lightweight and blended like a dream and left me with absolutely no creases or cakiness! I'm literally so happy right now that my hunt for an under-eye concealer is over. I don't use it to cover my blemishes so cant comment on its performance for that, but if you need an under-eye concealer that doesn't cake up or crease whilst actually covering your dark circles then this is the one!

The packaging is glass and high quality, very scared it's going to roll off my desk and shatter. Very runny, high pigmented and blends easily into the skin. Doesn't look cakey. I always set this product with a powder so I don't know how well it would last without the powder. You can use brushes or sponges to apply this as it blends so nicely.

I have a love hate relationship wit this product. Cons first - Only problem is the packaging. I don't like the glass packaging, Ive heard of a few people dropping it and the bottle smashing. It hasn't happened to me, thankfully! The pump is terrible, it squirts too much product out at once, and you have no control over how much comes out. Also I have mine laying down in my draw, so when I go to use it, I need to shake it for the product to come out, just a bit annoying if Im in a rush. Pros - Great for concealing under the eyes, I always set it with powder and it doesn't crease on me. You only need a small amount. It is a very creamy consistency, and easy to blend. I use a damp sponge to blend it out. Gives me great coverage, lasts at least 8 hours. Has a great range of shades including cool and warm tones to suit multiple skin tones. I have NC15, NC20 and NC30. I use the lightest shade NC15 to highlight the higher planes of my face. NC20 for my undereyes and the NC30 to cover any imperfections/discolourations/blemishes. Very lightweight. I don't reach for this concealer as often as some of my other concealers.

Great concealer blends good find I have to blend it as soon as ive put it on I can leave it for to long otherwise it makes it a little harder to blend. Downside is the packaging you can never get the last bit out of the bottom so have to pop the top off it but other then that LOVE it

This concealer is both lightweight and has a smooth glide on effect when applying it. It doesn't feel heavy or look cakey. Great to wear day to day or that special occasion or date night!

Since buying this concealer I have never looked back. The coverage is amazing, it does not dry or crease.

Because this comes in a pump bottle, this is best applied with a brush, making it perfect for dark circles and tidying up details (eyebrows, cut crease, winged liner etc). You do need to be careful to pump out too much.

Another MAC cult favourite.

Love the formula but under my eyes I do find that it creases. A little goes a long way so despite its small size it is worthwhile. Always be careful with where you put it as it is very breakable.

Although it is on the expensive side, you get a lot of product compared to other concealers. This concealer is a much dryer formula, and sets itself well for long lasting coverage. Covers blemishes well, under eye circles usually requires a couple of layers to cover decently. Really good shade range as usual from MAC.
