Light is not light enough

I have fair skin, so I chose the light option. Sadly this option is far too orange for fair skin. I only applied a small amount to my skin and it has left me looking very orange. My skin certainly doesn't glow or look flawless as the packaging claims. It doesn't correct dullness or any blemishes on my skin - in fact, it only aids in making them more obvious because they are now an earthly orange. My skin feels sticky and has a texture like sunscreen, definitely not the "lightweight and comfortable texture" I was promised. Usually I would apply foundation with a brush, but it specifically said to apply like a moisturizer, which I do with my fingertips, and now i have a distasteful residue on my fingers which doesn't seem to wipe off. All in all, the makers need to design a product that is actually for light skin.

Tips: Don't use it if you have fair skin - you will look like you have had three rounds of a spray tan. If you do apply it with your finger tips, be aware that anything you touch will become orange.

BB Cream

I've tried a few BB Creams over the last couple of years and unfortunately this one would have to be my least favourite. The cream itself comes out looking and feeling a nice thick consistency but once I started rubbing it in it seems very water based which I don't like in creams. Left my skin looking oily and shiny so I had to finish it off with some pressed powder. Coverage is very very sheer. If it wasn't for covering it with powder I'd barely notice I had a bb cream on. The smell is pleasant and packaging is fine. I would never pay for this and would not recommend it to anyone.

Tips: To help with the shine it leaves use a powder over top.

Not thaaaaat great

This was my first time with a BB creme and I must say I wasn't overly excited about it. It didn't give a matte finish nor good coverage. I did put a powder over top to get a matte finish and for better coverage. This is a product I would wear for a super natural no make up look. I would say it is more suited for young teenage girls that are just starting to wear make up as it is light blend perfectly without looking cakey.

Tips: Wear a primer and for better wear and coverage use a powder

Nothing more than a tinted moisturiser

Can't say it was quite the "Miracle Skin Perfector" it claims to be! I found it more of just a hyped up tinted moisturiser. I was hoping it would even out the redness on my cheeks or give me enough coverage to hide blemishes for a no make up day - but it didn't quite do anything except make my skin an odd colour. I am quite fair so got the light, but it didn't match me at all, or give me enough coverage to make it worthwhile wearing it. It has a nice light scent and seemed to be quite hydrating and lasted most of the day, but if I was to wear it again i'd still use my normal foundation routine on top - defeating the purpose of this product. I would never purchase it again.

Tips: Borrow a friends to colour match first!

Had high hopes....

Unfortunately to me this is not a BB cream, it is more like a tinted moisturiser and not even a good one at that. I was excited to see the products colour and consistanly when first squeezing the product onto my hand. The light shade matched me almost perfectly and the mouse like thick formula seemed promising... but when applying it thinned out and only changed the shade of my skin ever so slightly. There was no evening of skin tone or redness to be expected with any BB Creams I have tried before. Also I noticed after it being on my skin for several minutes the colour had oxidised and had quite an orange tone to my face. Sorry Garnier I will be sticking with my Lioele at this stage!

Tips: Don't have high expectations! Seems like it may be ok as a around home moisturiser...

Big Thumbs Down!!

I hate to have to make a negative review but I think it's important to be honest. I have tried using this in every way possible. Hands, beauty blender, stippling brush, foundation brush but NOTHING works for me. I've tried using primer before hand, or just moisturizer or nothing but it still doesn't help. The fragrance is sickening, it's very strong and I'm not particularly fond of foundations that have scent. The formula is nice and creamy and it applies well but on me it's very oily and looks 'wet'. The lasting time is average, it wears off very quickly but lasts a little longer with powder on top. I can't use blush or contour when I wear this because it slips off and starts caking up and flakes off. My skin is normal/combination and I have never had a problem like this with other BB creams or foundations. It looks very dirty on me, it seems to build up and flake very easily. I really did try to make this product work however I couldn't. One positive thing I could say is that the coverage is very impressive (medium). But that's it. Big thumbs down from me!

is this a foundation or a bb cream?

To start off with, this bb cream doesn't really have any scent to it that i notice. The consistency is so much thicker than any foundation i use. I used different methods of applying this bb cream.

Flat top kabuki brush - This method made the bb cream go on a bit splotchy as its quite thick. It gave quite a medium coverage. It was not lightweight and it did feel like i have product on my skin.

Damp Beauty Blender - This sheered out the bb cream and gave a light to medium coverage and a dewy finish. The application went on a little better but still gave that heavy feeling of having a product on my face.

The product itself isn't impressive, within two hours of wear, my imperfections had peeped through the bb cream. My skin looked so cakey and textured than it actually is. I use essano moisturiser underneath and with or without primer, the results were not as good. It did not smooth my skin and brought out more texture than my skin actually has. It's very thick, and even though i use a little bit, it did not apply flawlessly. Unfortunately, my skin also reacted with this and had I had broken out of small comedones on my forehead. And this was the only product i added on my routine. Sorry Garnier, I probably won't repurchase.

Not bad, not ideal for me

Straight off the bat, this is too dark for me, I'm about an NC15 in mac so really light, I received the light colour. The formula is really nice and thick and feels pleasant. Once applied it reminds me of how sunblock makes your skin look, really dewy but in an obvious "I have a crap load of stuff on my face" kind of way. Maybe dewy is the wrong word. I powdered it and it looked more wearable. Over the day it didn't wear very well, faded off and went patchy and I was very oily in my T zone. I wouldn't purchase this product again and I wouldn't be quick to recommend it to a friend. I don't have a lot to say about it, it was too dark, too "wet" and it didn't wear well.

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream - normal

I wish this would have been a product I could use again. Apart from making me look like I had spent a little to much time on a sun bed (I got sent medium colouring which was just wrong for my skin colouring) my skin did not like this product at all. I put it on and it felt like my skin was burning - I had to remove it immediately. Unfortunately I will not be purchasing this product again.

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector

I was so excited to try this and was really hoping it would do as it said. It comes in a tube and and was easy to squeeze out just enough as you need. From the moment I tried it I found it was easy to apply, a good consistency, blended in well with my skin tone and smelt nice but over-powering like shampoo. Over the course of the day my skin appeared greasy and felt clogged up and it seemed as though the colour had worn away in patches - so really didn't last the distance. The packaging was okay, just as I would expect to find on a supermarket shelf. However, I would not recommend this to a friend and don't think it is worth the money.
