Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Nude Review

I’m in love with this product!! It provides a very natural coverage with a little boost of glow. It comes out white like a moisturiser and it’s as easy as applying a moisturiser which turns coloured when it hits the skin. It doesn’t feel like foundation on your skin and it is like wearing no makeup at all. But the most exciting thing about this product is that it also wears amazing well all day and in hot humid conditions with no flaking, I am so impressed. I have dry mature skin with redness and broken capillaries, I found it covered well and I was able to build up on areas of my skin needed it with redness or age spots for that extra bit of coverage. I would recommend this product to achieve beautiful looking natural skin without any effort. Doesn’t sink in and highlight wrinkles thankfully for the older skin this is a must! Because it’s what I do with any coverage little powder to stop the shine and I’m set to go for the day.

I love ur when u put it on it comes out white and just looks and feels like ur moisturising it then blend so perfectly with my skin an tones out the patches I'm not happy about on my face it lasts all day I have to say the only down fall I came across is u can feel it still on ur face almost like a tiny stickiness to it but it is going to b great for summer for me as I ant wear foundations in the summer due to it just melting off me so I think this is going to be my perfect solution I wouldn't put a moisturizer under it as it is a moisturizer and feels too much moisture on ur face if u do both and then apply a foundation great product packaging and price would highly recommend giving but a try if u just want a light coverage but a food coverage that lasts all day

I used Garnier Skin Perfector BB cream everyday since receiving it. I love the feel of the cream. It matched my skin perfectly, is easy to apply and a little goes a long way. I especially like how it doesn’t feel like I am wearing a lot of makeup but it still looks like I am. I would highly recommend this and will definitely be using again.

I used to love Garnier BB creams particularly in the warmer months, when heavy foundations feel yuck on my skin and those days when I just wanted a little “glow” instead of a full face.

Firstly what is this sorcery?! It comes out white (looks like a moisturiser) then as you apply it to your skin and it warms up, it changes colour to match your skin tone. It’s magic!!

The cream itself is quite thick and feels nice when blending it in. I did just use my fingers to blend it in which I found easy. I just used this straight on my skin (no serum, no moisturiser under it)

The cream I find is quite perfumed for me but it does settle down after an hour. I think I might be a bit sensitive to scents but it is nice, it’s fresh and almost slightly floral.

I have dry skin that has a few lines and crinkles, so I need something moisturising for my skin that doesn’t settle in said crinkles. I love how this BB cream is moisturising and doesn’t settle in lines it just gives me a nice even skin tone. I have a few red patches on my cheeks and this covers them beautifully.

This lasted around 7 hours before it looked like it had “done its dash” i love how this is super easy to remove. I hate removing makeup it always seems such an effort but this comes off with just a cleanser.. winning!

I love the packaging, a nice easy squeeze tube that sits on its lid, perfect for getting all product out and plastic is great being able to take it anywhere without the fear of it breaking or leaking. I LOVE this has SPF15 I wish more foundations and moisturisers had SPF.

Overall a Fantastic BB cream and I will repurchase when this runs out. It’s perfect for summer!

I was very surprised to find the cream to be a white colour, but when I applied to my face it changed to a normal BB cream colour.

The instructions suggested applying to your face like you would with a normal moisturiser - I actually applied with my makeup sponge. I also applied my normal moisturiser prior to apply this BB cream.

Interesting the tube looked like it had an aftermarket label attached, I peeled back the corner and found the original label in a foreign language.

Overall, I found this BB cream gave great coverage and blended in extremely well and covered up some of my uneven tone and didn’t make my face feel heavy or sticky.

I didn’t bother with a separate foundation or powder on top.

The opportunity to review this BB cream could not have come at a better time! I have a 3 week old baby so my every day routine has become pretty simplified and I need effective quick products to get me looking semi put together and I have been on the hunt for a new BB cream and this Garnier Nude Effect BB Cream ticks all my boxes. I love that this is a universal shade, it comes out of the tube white and like magic the colour appears as you apply and adjusts to your skin tone perfectly! I love that this product really blurs the imperfections and leaves me looking glowy and awake for the day and the colour blends perfectly leaving me looking natural but an improved version of me. The BB cream also has SPF built in which is a huge plus as it's super important to have sun protection on your skin every single day, however I do find the product smells a little sunscreeny on application but this soon fades. The product comes in a simple squeezy tube, which won't win any design awards but it's a classic format that does its job well, seals nicely and it something you can easily chuck into your handbag or toiletry bag if going away. It says it is suitable for sentive skin which I do have and true to its word I have not had any skin issues or breakouts using this (which can sometimes happen when trying something new) I definitely prefer this to the other Garnier BB creams I have tried and I think this is largely due to the skin matching pigments in the formula as the standard shades just never seemed to look right. Overall it gets a big thumbs up from me and this has become a new daily staple in my routine!

I was surprised when I went to apply this product, and it was white, as in, goth makeup white. But as I began applying to my face it turned flesh toned.

I like the lightness of this product - it doesn't feel like a heavy layer on your face. For 'no-makeup' days or light makeup days, this product leaves you with a healthy glow and an almost blur effect.

It creates a very smooth canvas - you could also use this under a powder foundation / your usual highlight or bronzer products.

I don't think you'd get away with this if you are really pale or have darker than olive skin but for me it's perfect.

The idea of a 'nude' BB Cream intrigued me, after all, aren't BB creams meant to be light / invisible anyway; what more could this bring to the table?

There are no choices of shade, this is a one shade fits all product, I was surprised when it really did blend to match my skintone, as promised on the box! The whiteness of the cream and the texture of the cream makes you feel like you're applying your usual day cream but, almost instantaneously your skin begins to smooth and even out as the particles inside change colour to a tinted moisturiser.

I actually agree with the claim of it providing 24 hour hydration - my skin really does feel good and less dry using this. And it honestly is so wonderfully light, the only evidence this isn't a day cream is my cotton pad when I cleanse my face at the end of the day.

I would use it again for sure, but it wouldn't be my go-to base for an occasion or event where I would want to conceal a bit more, and neutralise my redness. Some times a girl just needs foundation - but for every other day, this BB Cream will do the trick.

I'm a huge fan of Garnier BB Creams in general, for me they bridged the gap of 'not wanting to wear foundation' but wanting my skin to just look 'a bit better'. I've always opted for the medium shade, so I admit I was incredibly skeptical that this shadeless product would be a success.

Lets get that out of the way first - if you have tanned or dark skin, this isn't going to work for you. On uber-pale skin, I think you'd risk it being a bit orange. But for fair to medium skin tones will probably find success with this cream.

I tried this on my face and the back of my hand, and it really does blend to those different skin tones. It's easy to rub in and I didn't notice any tidelines on my neck, so that's good.

There is a scent - it's not unpleasant, its just a bit unexpected, but it dissipates quickly.

It feels incredibly light, I can't stress that enough. I hate the feel of layers of makeup, and even more I hate the sensation of makeup sliding down my face. This works as a smoothing base, that lightly conceals redness or blemishes, without fully covering them.

It has SPF (maybe that's the scent?), not enough for the NZ sun, but a nice boost to my daily sunscreen.

I think this would be a fantastic introduction to foundation for younger people looking to explore makeup a bit more.

I have freckles and sensitive acne prone skin. So I find it hard to pick the right color for my skin, and am prone to breakouts with many products. Seeing this self adjusts to your skin tone and it has products in like vitamin c I thought this would be amazing to try. It was pretty cool putting on a white cream and seeing it turn brown and it looked fantastic with my freckles, looked very natural. As I am currently recovering from a breakout I put on two layers like it suggested and it hid quite a few of the pimples etc. it lasted all day and still looked great. I didn’t need to put a primer on before it either as it went on beautifully. It dried almost instantly it was so easy to apply. I will definitely be buying this in future. It didn’t aggravate my breakout or make them worse, it seemed to actually help heal them. It does have a perfume scent which I found nice. It would be great for people who have trouble finding the right shade of foundation like me. I do like the two layers more than just putting it on once, it seemed to cover my blemishes that way. It’s also a decent amount of product in the tube which is great too. Well done Garnier,
