I have 2 of the revlon nail polishes, 1 red one and 1 scented red nail polish. The scented one is called Mon Cherry and actually smells like cherries, although it is weird to have scented nail polish as people give you a few looks when sniffing your fingers haha. The scent lasts 2-3 days, which is a rather long time for a fragrance. I thought that applying a top coat would limit the fragrance coming through but it doesn't tend to. The brushes on the nail polish are alright, better than cheaper brands, but not quite as good and wide as the OPI brushes. The polish lasts about 2 days without top coat before it begins to chip and around 4 days with top coat. Overall I love this brand polish and you are able to pick it up quite often at Farmers for 1/2 price.
Tips: Apply a top coat to gloss and make the polish last longer.
Revlon is by far my favourite nail polish brand. I have several colours and will continue to buy them over other brands. I love the colour selection and there always seems to be new ones I haven't seen before when I peruse the Revlon counter. My favourite colour of late is Totally Toffee, shade no.415. I wash my hands regularly and just use my hands and nails as normal and my Revlon nail polish will last for at least 2 days without any really noticeable chipping, even with no base or top coat. OPI on the other hand, always has big chips within hours of application, even if I spend a long time carefully applying. I always read rave reviews about OPI, but personally it doesn't deliver like Revlon does. Also, Revlon definitely has a more competitive price, I usually don't think twice about adding another colour to my Revlon collection because they are affordable. Love you Revlon.
Tips: Personally I find this lasts really well with just the basic 2 coats of the polish, but for extra longevity I recommend a base and top coat.
I absolutely love nail polish and have been growing my nail polish collection with a lot of OPI nail polish. When I saw the Revlon Nail Enamel on sale, I decided to give it a try and I quite like it just as much as I do with OPI. The formulation is a nice consistency so it doesn't go thick and clumpy which makes it easy to apply. I also find that even with two coats of the nail enamel, you get a good coverage of the colour. On top of that, it doesn't take too long to dry, has good lasting wear, and is easy to remove without any nail stains. With a huge range of colours available to suit each occasion and outfit, I would definitely recommend it everyone!
Tips: For longer lasting wear, I applied a base coat, two coats of the Revlon Nail Enamel, and then finished off with a top coat to add extra shine.
I do love the diversity of the colour range but I dont find the nail polish to be long lasting and durable. I find it chip quite quickly if I dont use a top coat.
I've used better nail polishes that are long lasting without the help of a top coat.
I love the Revlon colour range but the big downside for me is the horrible small long thin brush! The colour lasts for a while and looks great on but I have to be a lot more careful when I apply it and clean up time is usually much greater as opposed to using OPI or LA Colour or Kleancolor. Even the small stumpy wide Rimmel brushes are better than these. As above, I love the colour range but won't use them because of the brush. Major let down :(
My nails are quite curved and 99% of nail polish tends to chip in just a few hours, whether or not I use a top coat. My number one nail polish for staying on is definitely OPI, but a close second is Revlon. The colours are great, and while it chips quick ish, it stays on longer than most other brands. The price is good for what you get.
Tips: Not sure if they still sell them, but the quick dry polishes do dry quick but tend to chip quicker.
ive used this product for years, it gives a nice thin coat that dries easily so you can put another coat on top without waiting forever for it to dry,
I've a few Revlon polishes but my far and away favourite is the aptly named Elegant. A nude tone that looks ... well ... elegant.
I must admit to being lazy and not using a bottom or top coat, however I find this polish doesn't chip as easily as others I've used.
Best of all I don't have virtually any trouble applying it - and I'm very uncoordinated. Like it says, no bubbling or streaks. The only problem? I can't draw in a straight line so often end up with overflow on my fingers - nothing a cotton bud and polish remover doesn't fix though ;)
I love revlon nail polish it is my absolute favorite. I have a huge collection of different revlon nail polishes. They dry fast and can last on my nails for a good week or so before chipping. My favorite colors are revlon red, craving coral and iced spice.
