MAC Studio Fix Powder + Review

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this. I use it almost everyday on top of my Nars sheer glow foundation. It does not go on cakey, but has great coverage. Sometimes I wear it by itself (with primer) and it does the job great. Im lucky I received this as a gift so I don't feel as bad using it all the time because of the price! Sometimes foundation doesn't sit well on my nose, so I would put this on my nose and it makes all the redness go away, it does not move throughout the day and it does not make the blackheads on my nose more prominent. This is in all honesty the best powder I have ever used and I will be very sad when it runs out. I am quite a fair girl and I have the shade NC15 and it is the perfect match to my skin-tone. I was lucky with getting the right colour as it was a gift, but I would recommend getting matched by a professional.

I am using this for months but not everyday. I am feeling guilty when I put it on my face everyday because of its price! I only use this when I don't feel like putting full make up on my face and when I just want to cover some of my blemishes.

The powder foundation is really nice because you can put it as it is. It can cover light blemishes and it stays on your face for a long time. I love that it has many shades that can match a lot of skin. The only thing I don't love about this is its price, but its actually worth your money. If you want a more affordable one, there are lots of dupes coming out in the market nowadays, just be careful with the ingredients.

Overall, this is my holy grail powder foundation. Perfect for my skin type and my skin color.

I have only recently got on the band wagon for this baby and I must say I have been truly missing out. I have used this a good handful of times on its own and overtop of liquid foundation and it worth beautifully for both. When using on it own I could build the coverage and get a nice light coverage or super full coverage. When putting over my foundation to set it i found it doing a beautiful job ad well. I did notice it clung to one or two dry patches on my face but I am yet to find a powder that doesn't.

I bought this duty free on way to Australia as we don't have a local MAC shop, it's ok for day to day wear but does not provide coverage I had been suggested it wiuld

Ive been using this powder for about 18 months now and its my favourite hands down. I use it as a setting powder on top my liquid foundation - it adds coverage and sets makeup nicely (goes lovely with Nars Sheer Glow!). Its also nice to wear over BB cream for those days where you want a more natural look or just dont want to wear foundation. I actually opted for a drugstore powder for my last purchase and totally regret it!! Wish I had stuck to my HG!

I love this by itself for a quick foundation, but I also love it when I use it lightly over liquid foundation as a setting powder! It keeps my skin looking matte without drying out my skin and is really good coverage without looking cakey.. Love it!

This is a short review because I don't know what else to say other than I love this powder, its everything you want in a powder and is true to everything it says, the only issue I have is the palest one is very slightly too dark and a little on the pink side for me but barely noticeably so. All around I love this, only major downside is the price.

This is a simple, great powder foundation. The packaging is nice and simple with a mirror and a lower compartment that holds the included powder puff. It clicks securely shut and is nice and sturdy. The powder itself is super smooth and finely milled. I personally don't wear this powder just on it's own as I have acne that I prefer to completely cover up, however I do wear this on top of my liquid foundation and it works perfectly. It gives me that extra bit of coverage without looking heavy or cakey. I find other products (bronzer, highlight etc.) also blend nicely on top of this foundation as it creates a nice smooth surface for other products. I've finished and repurchased this product several times :)

This is a sleek black compact with a decent sized mirror on the inside and a compartment under the powder for a sponge ( I threw that away- I prefer to use a brush)

I use it two ways- I find its great for by itself just to smooth out skin and perk you up a bit, I will do this for light makeup days or when I'm looking a bit tired and can't be bothered with a full face. I do not find that any powder foundation gives me the coverage I want say for a night out.

I do also find that studio fix powder works great over liquid foundation. it is what I use to set my foundation down- I do not find it too cakey or powdery this way but If I have gone a bit crazy on it then my magical fix+ sorts me out.

All in all I have found this has lasted me a long time (keeping in mind I do not wear makeup daily) and gives my skin a lovely finish and coverage.
