After seeing many you tubers use Wet and Wild I knew I had to give this brand a try. This brand can be found mostly online or at Red Bucket Sales. I was lucky to purchase this lipstick from a online market place. I am also interested in trying the Wet and Wild Fergie line as well.
The colour I chose is Cherry Bomb. This lipstick comes in quite an ordinary black casing with a see through cover with the Wet n Wild branding on it. Cherry Bomb to me is a bold dark Vampy Red Wine Colour. I think I was expecting more of a cherry red to it. The texture of this lipstick is Matte and bold. I find it really pigmented. The colour is vibrant. It feels smooth. I was lucky enough to get mine at a discounted price at the time.
When I apply it, the colour is bright enough to apply just a minimal amount to my lips. It did last me a little while before I needed to top up with some more product. I like this vampy colour for night time looks, but every so often I break the rules and wear dark colours during the day.
All up, the packaging of this product might not be high end, but this product is great. I really enjoy how it feels on lips. I like this matte texture. I would definitely like to try some more products from Wet n Wild.
I bought the shade 'Bare it All' when I found out it was a dupe for MAC's 'Velvet Teddy' and when I found out for myself how similar they were I was kicking myself for spending $40 on MAC when I could've bought this lippy for $10. It gives a wonderful matte finish that doesn't dry out my lips at all. The colour lasts all day and doesn't transfer too much either. I get a full days wear out of it.
I will definitely be buying more from this range. I'm really keen on finding out just how good these other MAC dupes are.
