Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Stain

I really like this. I got a really dark maroony/cherry shade called Crush Beguin. It doesn't feel heavy on the lips and even thought i got a dark colour, it's still just a subtle wash, so it looks really pretty and natural (i did all m,y make-up exactly the same for work today, except wore my new lip stain and was told i looked "really pretty"! :D). I've wanted to try these for ages and I do really like this, I'm happy i tried it, however i don't find the colour lasts "hour after hour". it does stay on a couple, n would probably have quite a lot of longevity if I didn't eat or drink, but to be honest, I didn't expect it to last that long anyway. There is still a hint of colour, but certainly not like it's just been applied. If I'm after longevity I'll stick to the Nyx soft matte lip creams. The longevity and the fact that my lips didn't feel particularly softened or smooth (it really doesn't double as a balm) with this is the reason i didn't rate all that highly, but definitely would buy it again. Really easy little tube, big and easy to apply, you can wind it up, and it's not messy or sticky.

I'm a feeling a bit mixed on this one. One one hand, I love the soft, creamy application, love the novelty of the crayon shape and really love the cool, refreshing scent/taste of the lip stain, but I'm not a fan of the 'waxy' feeling afterwards. Like all lipsticks and lip stains, it didn't last very long (maybe two hours) so I wouldn't pay full price for it, but if I found the right shade on special, then I would probably buy it again.

I've tried this in both matte (Striking Spectaculaire - a warm red) and gloss (Enticing Desirable). The matte is only passable - it sinks into lines on the lips and wears off in odd patches, leaving behind a slight wax-like covering on your lips. In contrast, the gloss version wears very well, has an excellent depth of colour, and isn't too shiny - just a subtle shimmer. My verdict: look elsewhere for your matte shades, but give the gloss a go.

Compared to the original Clinique Chubby Stick, these aren't as pigmented or long lasting but I still really like it. It's easy to apply and is still moisturising. I personally prefer the matte versions of this which is more long lasting and are so pigmented.

I do enjoy this product even though I only own two shades. The colour payoff isn't the best I have tried BUT it does look wonderful as a light tint or used as preperation under a lipstick. The minty smell made my lips feel fresh and plump!

I would only warn against over layering the product, it will become "cakey" and make your lips appear dry or chapped.

I have a bright pink and dark purple , they make lips feel little bit dry, and slightly waxy but the colour is really strong, lasts quite long and has a cool smell !

I love the idea of this product, I dont own one but have tried it many times (thanks to my make-up artist friend!). Even when the shine wears off the color remains pretty much all day which is a bonus. If you want the slight gloss look you will have to reapply after about an hour. The 'crayon' tip makes this lip stain easy to use and is super cute! and because its also a balm it leaves your lips soft , which is great for dry, cracked lips.

I have a bunch of these and I love them. They are soft, moisturising, leave a subtle long-lasting stain on the lips and the colours are so pretty. I'd totally recommend Honey - a great every day nude colour that suits all skin tones!

I cant decide if I like this product or not, its a bit hit nd miss with me it has its advantages and disadvantage. The colour payoff is not that great on the lighted colour I have the colour Charm a peachy nude and can hardly see the colour on my lips. But I do also have another colour called Rendezvous a bright Orange shade and it looks great on the lips. So my recommedation for the balm stains is to stay away from the light colour. Also if you hate your lipstick coming off quickly this product probably isn't for you. On the plus side though it has an addicting mint scent!
