Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede Lipstick - Couture

I purchased this in the shade "womenswear" on special at radius pharmacy for $20. I had always wanted to try it as I love matte & long lasting lipsticks.

I hate to say it but this did nothing for me! I was expecting a beautiful smooth consistency with great staying power. What I got was a frosty unflattering and slightly chunky textured product. If I apply anything else over or under this lipstick such as a gloss or a balm then it starts to clump together into little lipstick balls (hah!) it's just so difficult to work with.

I really want to like this because they have such beautiful shades. I may try a different colour in the future but for now it will be going in the bin.

I love my lipstick and when I wear one I make sure that they are the centre of attention. I don't know maybe I ate the burger (from a well known fast food chain) too quick or not that lady like that it "kinda" faded away or it's just me with lipsticks that they won't stay that long even they promise that it will stay for hours.

I had high hopes for this lippy but was disappointed. Didn't really have much staying power and found it a bit frosty for my liking, but others may love this. Was super moisturising but wont be using again

I got this lippy in the shade "Muse" which is a stunning bright pink, I like wearing this to work as it does stay in place for a decent amount of time. I did find that some times when I applied it it sort of separated on my lips, not a good look.

i love the colors, really matte &stands; out in the packaging but not what i was expecting :/ i brought around 7 different colors, they looked really nice instore but whn i swatches them colors didnt stand out as much as i though it will.

I really loved this colour! it was bold and daring and beautiful, it went on smooth and had a nice finish, i did notice that it felt a little drying after a while, and lips felt alitte stripped. But overall i really like it!

This felt so smooth and glided on to my lips like butter.

It is so light and velvety and my lips felt brand new. Does not even feel like I am wearing any lipstick until I look in the mirror

I used to wear Revlon a lot in my younger days (when I could afford it more often) and I felt young again.

Even my 15 year old daughter tried it on and loved it - as she suffers from really dry lips.

We will definitely be trying out some other colours so we have a lipstick for everyday occasions too..

I got recommended this lipstick by a lady in farmers so I gave it a go. I was after a colour that I could wear to work and not have to worry about smudging or getting on my teeth. I love the colour and it doesn't smudge but it starts to dry out and flake a bit towards the end of the day

Lovely and creamy the pigmentation is ok but this lippy is def not my cup of tea, wouldnt repurchase, on another note it is very hydrating and provides that suttle tint which is perfect for summer, feels like silk when applied

This lipstick glides on beautifully and it is a gorgeous colour - I was very happy with it for the first five minutes. Then it soaked into my lips and became tacky and a bit sticky and looked dried. Some of the colour rubbed off on my cup when I was drinking a cuppa and it definitely leaves kiss marks when I gave my kids a kiss on the cheek. Overall I think it is a great lipstick as the colour stays and this colour is gorgeous and I will definitely be wearing it again.
