Maybelline Color Whispers Review

I have two of these color whispers in the shades lust for blush and oh la lilac. Lets start with lust for blush it is a nude and oh la lilac is a lilac of course! I brought lust for blush first and if i am honest i thought it was going to be more of a lipstick but it is very much a whisper of colour, in the middle of a tinted lip balm and lipstick. They both have pretty packaging which shows you what colour it is on the out side and has silver writing on it. I have had both for around six months and they have hardly been used up! they just seem to not want to be used up. I like that they are really moisturizing as i can get quite dry lips! They are not long lasting on the lips so if that is something your wanting these wont be for you. Price wise they are not bad for the amount of wears you will get out of it! you can pick them up quite cheap at the big bucket sales! i wouldn't say these are my are my favorite but i still get a bit of wear out of them. I wont be buying anymore as two is enough for me and after there done i wouldn't go out of my way to go and buy them but if they were cheap enough id pick one up. These would be perfect for people who are just starting to wear lipsticks! i would happily recommend these to a friend.

I first bought these when I wanted to start wearing more lipsticks - but nothing too intense and obvious. I have since purchased quite a few more in a variety of colours. They are super lightweight and not too pigmented, but you can quite easily build up the colour. I find they are really moisturising, nice and glossy, and don't cling to dry patches on my lips (which is great!). The downside is that they don't seem to stay on very long (especially if you are eating/drinking) - so you definitely need to reapply!

Great for the price though, and such a range of colours!

I have a few of these in various different pinky shades and I love them all!

They are a very subtle lipstick but I find the colours do come off as they look and are nice and pigmented!

The formula is nice and creamy and feels silky and moisturising on the lips.

Downfall: It isn't long lasting at all.... but I love these anyway.

I use this as more of a coloured lip balm rather than a lipstick. The colour is very sheer with a sheen to it, it feel nice on and isn't tacky or sticky in any way. This would be a good option to use if you're not sure about wearing lipstick or in jobs where you can't be too bold!

I bought two of these Colour Whispers for about $15 at the Warehouse a couple of months ago when they were on special and they are just fabulous! The shades I bought are "Who wore it red-er" and "Oh La Lilac". The gel substance they are made out of is definitely weightless and it glides on your lips really easy. It also means that if you make a mistake or go over the edges of your lips it is really easy to get off and doesn't stain your skin or ruin the rest of your make up. I don't use a lip liner for these as you don't need one as the don't bleed!! These are definitely easy everyday lipsticks to use. The packaging is rater nice to look at and the square/rectangular shape makes them really easy to store flat or stand up. It is quite a soft colour to start out with but you can build it up a bit by applying more coats which is great because you can use the same colour in different shades. However it doesn't last as long as a regular lipstick which means you are applying it always after you each and after drinking. I do think I would pay full price for them but would definitely buy again if they were on special.

I have this lipstick in two shades, oh la lilac and also a nude. These are super easy to wear, the colour is sheer but still noticeable. I love the lilac one it is a pretty purple, nothing super bright but still stands out without being super dramatic. I think these are perfect for day wear.

They also feel really moisterising, they remind me a lot of the revlon lip butter ones. Or even of a highly tinted balm. The tube is nice, the colour of the tube is similar to the colour of the lipstick. The colour doesn't last too long, but it's easy to reapply and it doesn't bleed everywhere outside of my lips.

It wasn't as pigmented as I expected and initially I was a little disappointed but it's now my favourite "everyday" lippy, I don't often wear lipstick so it's nice to add a soft hint of colour without it being over the top. Love the silky feeling it gives my lips as well.

I currently own 4 of the Color Whispers and I do think that they are really lovely for days when I want to go for a more natural look, or to compliment a heavier eye. I think that the red and darker pink shades stand out in this range, and would be perfect with people that are not yet comfortable wearing a bold lip.

I really enjoy this product, I have 3 of the colours, petal being my favourite. (light pink) They glide on very easy, dont bleed out and are more a gel formula. They are very moisturizing and I found I didnt have to re apply as often as I do with my other lippys. They colours are of ligh-med pigment as you would expect with the name being Whisper. Perfect for every day wear, non drying and long lasting, with lots of perfect colours to choose from.

I have to admit, im a girl that thinks less is more, and although I love bright lips colours, they just don’t look good on me! I tend to use a tinted gloss or balm.. That was until I found these! I loved this product, as it gave my lips a subtle colour, which is something i look for in a product. However, i found it wears off quite quickly, so have to reapply regularly!

I think the design on this product is okay, its simple and the lid reflects the colour of the lip product, so it makes sense, and it easy to use. This product is the same as any other lipstick in regards to packaging and application. It goes on so smoothly, and I find its really lightweight! I enjoy using this product and think its really affordable so will continue to use it.
