I absolutely love Lime Crime Opaque Lipstick!!. They are so pigmented and easy to apply. I usually only reapply this lipstick once during the day, and that's after lunch. I have a couple of shades, and can't wait to purchase the rest. I always carry my Coquette lipstick with me :)

Tips: I think they look best with a lip liner.
I had been lusting over lime crime lipsticks for so long before finally purchasing one. I decided to apprehensively though because of all the behind the scenes drama. BUT im glad i did :) I got the shade Airborne Unicorn. Wowie it is such a gorgeous color, its a vibrant lilac shade.
The packaging is amazing! It comes in a shiny purple tube with a silver unicorn and stars on it. The box that it came inside was equally as great. I got the limited edition packaging which is a silver box with black writing So so pretty!
The lipstick itself is extremely pigmented and opaque. It is a matte formula yet still very creamy. It applies beautifully and feels very comfortable on the lips. Unlike unlike most matte lipsticks this one is not drying at all. It is quiet long wearing but definitely not the longest wearing lippy i have. It does transfer a little when you eat, drink and kiss. But not too much to bother me.
One thing i didn't really like about this particular color was that it stained my lips. It was impossible to remove the stain even with scrubbing! Also the color was a weird pink tone completely different to the actual lipstick.
I love this lipstick and cannot wait to buy more from lime crime!
I'm not a huge fan of Lime Crime due to the way it feels on my lips once applied. I have Babette and Glamour 101. They feel heavy and cakey, and I don't even apply much. Don't get me wrong, the colours are stunning and these lipsticks are highly pigmented, and will last you a lot longer than a couple of hours. But when something doesn't feel right on my lips, I'm not going to continue using it.
Tips: If someone you know owns any of the lime crime lipsticks, I recommend trying before you buy.
Centrifuchsia was my first lipstick i have ever own! & I won it of PaganMaire.co.nz Competition survey they did (Which was amazing because i never win anything haha)
I found the colour too be opaque & Pigmented like lime crime are known for! I felt it wears off quickly with drinking & such! BUT i feel is i blot this lipstick over & over again it will have more staying power
Also staining if it when over my lip line i had to wipe with a wet wipe then reapply a wee bit foundation as it stains the skin.
I loved the colour, formula & the way it felt when applied (: I would 95% recommend this product!
Aside from all the rumours surrounding this brand, I think the fact remains that these lipsticks are simply average. I have five of them, and honestly, I mostly have them for the packaging. The formula feels very thick, and the lighter shades like Babette are very patchy and clump up on the lips. They have some interesting colours, but they just aren't great quality. I feel like most of the price is due to packaging and branding as opposed to the products. I do really like Retrofuturist, which is a bright red, not only for the colour but as this one is creamier than the others I have. This line is inconsistent.
Tips: If you want something from lime crime, get the velvetines.
I had no idea about Lime Crime before joining BR didn't know it existed. Since then i've seen so much talk of the Lime Crime lipsticks around here that it made me feel like I had to have it! So I finally took the plunge and got an opaque lipstick in coquette and also a velvetine. This is the most expensive lipstick i've ever purchased I was either going to be really happy or really disappointed, the moment I put this to my lips I was relieved to notice instantly it is far superior to every other lipstick I own.
The color I have coquette is very a light almost nude pale pink shade, one of the more subtler colors in the range. Application is smooth providing lips are hydrated /moisturised and it has a sweet vanilla scent to it. To me the quality of the formula is top notch, very opaque, rich solid color & creamy, it's a bit on the dry side I think it's a good idea to use a balm as a primer. The finish is matte, transfer is minimal as it seems to dry on the lips rather than slide off and is noticeably visible on my lips for around 4 hours.
The packaging is obviously unique which I gather is part of the reason people find this brand so alluring, and although the packaging is of sound quality it's really no better than any other lipstick I own prettiness aside.
I will definately purchase some more Lime Crime opaque lipsticks at some stage as this one has become my new favorite and I do think it's worth that extra bit of cash. Although to be honest I don't own a lot of lipsticks, about 10 all common brands like Maybelline, L'oreal, Covergirl, in comparison to these it really stands out as being far better quality.
Tips: Exfoliate and make sure lips are well hydrated prior to applying.
I had heard a lot about Lime Crime lipsticks, so I thought I would purchase one and see for myself what they are like. I bought Babette which is quite a pale peachy/pinky colour. Perhaps I bought the wrong shade for myself, but I'm not quite sold on it. The texture is alright - but my lips get dry quite easily so I think I prefer more moisturising lipsticks.
Great range of colours including wearable everyday colours and more adventurous colours. The formulas amazing creamy and so pigmented, two swipes max for full coverage. Some colours stain your lips but I like that, they're long wearing and worth collecting. Keep in mind the texture of them on your lips changes the longer you wear them, from a creamy feeling to more matte / stained feeling but not dry.
Tips: Use lip liner they can slip when eating
Lime Crime lipsticks are such awesome and interesting colours! My personal favourites include babette - quite neutral, pinky nude, great pink planet - a pastel pink with neon note, centrifuschia - fuchsia pink, geradium - light coral with neon note and countessa - cool based neon pink - yes I tend to stick with the pinks/neutrals but would love to try the more unusual tones such as serpentina - metallic green, airborne unicorn - candy purple, mint to be - mint green, new yolk city - banana yellow and no she didn't - bubblegum blue. They last amazingly (hours) and have super cool packaging! What more could you want!? With a RRP for $32 they are quite reasonably priced - a little goes a long way, and being a matte finish they do wear/last well! They are definitely a unique range of colours and I love that! Recommended to anyone that likes something a little different!
Tips: Make sure lips are well hydrated due to the matte consistency of these products, or, avoid them if your lips are super dry!
I have one of these lipsticks in Coquette and I adore it. The packaging was the original thing that caught my attention and I love the purple bullet with the holographic unicorn! So pretty! Now to the lipstick itself. I personally think they smell really good, like the MAC lipsticks. It's the perfect peachy brown nude shade and I find the lasting power to be really good, although I do need to reapply it after I initially put it on. I love these lipsticks and the shade range is so different and the colours so pretty which definitely sets them apart from other lipsticks.
