Gorgeous smooth sheer moisturising colour!

I love this gloss, I have it in Candy, it gives a decent amount of colour, which lasts a really good amount of time, probably 2-3 hours if I'm not drinking or eating. It is not sticky or tacky at all, it just gives my lips a really nice pop of colour with a soft sheen. It has balm qualities as well, so feels like its softening my lips and nourishing them at the same time as making them look good. It's quite pricey, and now there are a lot of other brands alternatives which are a lot cheaper.

Roomiest rose heaven

A friend gave me this glorious chubby stick. I poo pooed it and said its not my colour but she still got me to try it. I'm glad she did because it's now my go to colour for when I'm heading out for drinks. Had I never tried it I wouldn't have known how amazing these Chubby sticks are. I'm definitely converted and will be buying other colours.

Love!

Love this product although doesnt leave an intensive colour leaves a sheer colour and lots of moister new chubby sticks intense however great colour!

Tips: Apply foundation over ur lips before applying if u want a bigger build up of coulour. Colour stays but eventually the balm wares off reapply a plain balm if necessarry.

Not fussed till I found 'heaping hazelnut'

These are really just glorified lipbalms a wash of colour and not particularly moisturising - I wasn't particulary wowed by the one I tried at first but I love these now that I have tried a new shade 'heaping hazelnut' which is a great nude shade definitely nicer than Revlon's version but I would expect this as these are rather pricey for what they are.

Mega Melon

I have the mega melon shade, after seeing it while looking at the duty free counter I loved the smell. It doesn't taste like anything, and the colour is quite sheer but it is buildable. I lost it inside a coat pocket for a few months and was absolutely over the moon when I found it again! Absolute hands down favourite lip balm.

Tips: The top of the cap can be used as a mirror if you don't have one handy!

Good in theory - not in practice

Hmmm... the chubby stick promises to be a good all rounder, colour for lips and cheeks. I bought a colour that would suit both (a pale neutral pink), and unfortunately it doesn't really suit either. As a result it just sits in my makeup box unused.

The colour pigmentation is quite weak - not really my style.

Tips: Buy a separate lip colour and blush. Powder blush is better than creme blush.

Glad I read your review before I bought this. Been tempted for a while now, but will get the Revlon lip butter instead.

Love it!

Absolutely love this product, I have the grape shade and the colour is just amazing! Only downside is that it isn't as moisturising as it claims and I do feel that it dries my lips out a bit after a while.

Like the shade

Really liked the shade and the feel. Really moisturising ... Bit overpriced for what they are. Mine broke off quite soon after buying ... Think it had warmed up plus I kept applying to try and get the colour to some depth.

Tips: Don't push too hard

Worth the price

A sheer formulation but good colour pay off on the lips. Feels like a lip balm and is moisturising. I have the bright red shade and find it is much easier to apply perfectly than lipstick is.

Clinique, another winner!

Oh Clinique how I love you..

It seems every time I try a Clinique product it becomes one of my all time favourites, and this is yet another to add to that list.

I had heard great things about the iconic Clinique Chubby stick, so I thought it was time I try it for myself, and I'm impressed.

The chubby stick, is well named - packaged in a rather, thick chubby pen shaped lipstick. The packaging is distinctively Clinique, high end and luxurious. I love the bright splash of colour, teamed with the silver.

First off, my lips can be rather dry and sensitive. Some lipsticks or balms seem to lack the hydration my lips need, and they look slightly cracked and emphasise how dry they are.

But, this formula is lovely - it just glides over your lips easily and they feel so moisturised and nourished. The formula lasts quite a while, a couple of hours and I still see the lovely colour on my lips.

Now on to the colour, I chose Mega Melon - an awesome reddish/pink that is just so lovely and really enhances the colour of my lips. You can build up the colour by adding more layers of the chubby stick.

This is definitely another winner from Clinique! I'm already thinking about other colours I can add to my collection.

If you haven't tried these, I definitely recommend you do!

Tips: Wait till a gift with purchase with Clinique, so you can try other goodies and get some freebies at the same time.
