Disappointing

I heard that Rimmel lip liners were really good via a vlog on YouTube so decided to try them. This is the only one I've tried and I have to say I was very disappointed. The liner went on nice and smoothly although I'm not a big fan of the slanted shaped tip. But I found it smudged really easily and I ended up looking like a 3yr old that got into Mums lippy. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong or maybe another product in this brand would suit me better. This one's not for me though I'm afraid.

Shade:Mocha

I have had this one for awhile. I purchased in a bulk lot some time ago. Loved that it was an automatic wind pencil and that the tip was angled. It was easy to use and gave precise lined lip. I wouldn't repurchase due to the testing on animals aspect.

I wasn't overly thrilled by this lip liner

I have lips that stick out from my face a bit, that looks pouty, and a very sharp cupid bow with a thick bottom lip but taped to almost a point thinner top lip, I have a problem with the taper and cupid bow when it comes to lip liners as my dry skin can soak the liner up and feather it more than any lipstick applied.

Shade: Red Diva

This plastic barrel retractable lip liner is quite a long size in comparison to some on the market and just fits in my acrylic drawer where I keep all my lip liners, it has a very firm fitting lid that stays put, not like some that pretend to stay on until you have them put away and the lids seem to work themselves loose and have a party in the drawer. Twisting mechanism is smooth and it fully twists up to a full length of the pencil so you get quite a lot of product for your money. The lip colour is Red Diva which is a vibrant blue based red shade that is very creamy but firm when applying but does feather slightly at the more tapered edges of my lips. Once applied and set in place with lipstick this liner stays put all day even after drinking/eating the lipstick may wear thin but the red bold line is still in place.

The only downside to this pencil is that it has a tapered/slanted end to it which makes application a little tricky on my odd shaped lips, resulting in 9 times out of 10 having overdrawn lips due to it over running the line of my lips. This is something that improves with practice but still I'd prefer a bullet point end that is easier to control. However for the price and size of the liner I might repurchase again as the shade is just spot on for a majority of my reds.

Addiction - the perfect nude pink

I love these pencils, they are soft, easy to apply and long wearing. They are smooth but have just enough waxiness to them that they stay put and are great for wearing under glosses and balms.

My shade is Addiction - a nude with an equal balance of brown, pink and mauve. It looks great with all my nude lipsticks and perfect for night time when some of my more beigey brown nude lipsticks wash me out. I have several backups as I love the colour so much.

I love the slanted tip, how affordable these are and the finish. My only dislike is the chemical plastic odour these have but it soon dissipates so I can deal with it.

Tips: Don't wind up above the level of the plastic tip when applying otherwise the product will break off. Also use a light pressure!

Great lip liner.

This lip liner is really great. I managed to pick it up a the Make-up sale for $1, so mega score! It's an automatic pencil, so no sharpening, and it glides on like a dream. It's very similar in texture to the Chi Chi ones, which are my all time favourites. It lasts a long time and helps prolong the wear of your lipstick - just like any good lip liner should. I've worn this just around the line of the lips, as well as under my lipstick to prolong the life of it. It has a very creamy texture, feels moisturising, and has a matte finish. It also has a tapered tip, which helps make a really precise application to the lips. If you are looking for a cheap lip liner I definitely recommend you give these a go!

not OVERLY thrilled

I LOVE RIMMEL, they're products are super affordable and works really well, however this one isn't as long lasting as I hoped. I use lip liner as my base and to prevent my lipstick from bleeding out and this does that but won't last the whole night. After an hour or so my lipstick along with the liner will have disappeared leaving only a sheer tint of red.

Great affordable lip liner

I actually brought this lip liner because of the hype that surrounded the colour east end snob. Because I have an addicition, I also brought a few other colours aswell!

These lip liners come in a plastic skinny tube, which use a retractable mechanism. Thankfully, i hate pencils that I have to sharpen. Partly because I'm lazy, and partly because I don't actually own a pencil sharpener. (But I am getting into the colouring book phase so I will have to purchase one soon no doubt).

The formula of these liners are really nice, they are creamy, smooth and pigmented and the product actually comes on a slanted tip which I like as it makes it super quick and easy to line lips and because its slanted, I feel like its quicker to fill in lips too compared to normal lip pencils.

I like these lip liners, they are affordable, and reasonably easy to get hold off. Plus they come in a lovely range of colours which over all the basics! At this stage, I will be repurchasing the ones I have when (If) they run out.

Rimmel Exaggerate Full Colour Lip Liner

This is by far the best lipliner I've ever tried. I have the red version which goes on smoothly and stays on. The red version is the most fantastic colour as well. Could be worn on it's own with lip gloss. Just goes to prove you don't have to spend a lot of money to get fantastic quality.

Beautiful and affordable

I love how affordable this is and how excellent the formula is when applied..its such a pretty nude tone and goes well with almost every skin tone i love it..the only downfall for me was the first one I purchased was broken and so was the second one and that gives me doubts however that aside i would 100% recommend.

Great product but the colour range is small

I like this liner. It goes on easily and does what I hoped it would do - keep my lipstick from bleeding into the tiny lines around my mouth. Unfortunately, the colour range is very small. I was looking for a nude-coloured liner but didn't find one in this line so had to settle for a very pink tone instead. If they had something more natural, I'd be 5-starring this baby all the way! As it is, I have to only use it when I'm wearing a lipstick darker than the liner, so you can't see it underneath. Bit of a bummer because in every other way, it's great! Lasts really well and great price.
