Not being a fan of foundation brushes, but having been a few years since I tried one, I thought it was time I gave it another go. I'm normally a fingers girls, even when applying to others, as I like the product to warm with my touch. I liked the brush. It didn't have the problems I have had with other foundation brushes, which is leaving hairs behind and also leaving brush strokes in the foundation. I think this was due it's shape and the buffing action that was recommended to use it with. I tried it with my liquid foundation and with my mineral powder foundation and it was better with the liquid. It wasn't quite wide enough for use with the powder - a kabuki brush is better. And it was nice to not have hands covered in foundation afterwards!! It was soft, and very easy to use, gave a nice even coverage and blended well. I think I would only use it for when going out, as it does take longer than using my fingers, but gives a nicer finish. And I'm a hygiene freak so that way I can wash it each time I use it. The one thing I didn't like about at all was the length of the handle. It seems like its not necessary and it also didn't fit in my small make up case for going out and touch ups.

Tips: Tops for using it would be to dot the foundation evenly over your face first to allow for even coverage. I found this works better than trying to apply directly to the brush. The instructions on this part weren't very clear on the box. And shorten the handle please!
I have been using this brush with various different foundations all week and found when applying longer wear foundations that have more coverage I still had to blend & work the foundation in with a beauty blender. I also found the brush dense which was good but the brush head length made it not have very good control & made it harder to work the foundation in. Also saw a few brush hairs come off while using it unfortunately. Did love the thin long handle on it which meant it fitted in well with my other brushes on my vanity :)
Tips: Great to use to apply the foundation initially & then you can finish off & work the foundation in with a beauty blender.
I really like to put my brushes to work, so this brush got put thru it this week. Firstly it is really soft and silky to the touch and the synthetic bristle does not shed on application or cleaning.
The fibres are dense but really not dense enough for application of cream or too heavy a foundation/concealer, Stick with a medium or buildable coverage liquid or powder foundation.
I do like my brushes to double duty and I know this is extra important when you don't have a full pro brush collection so, other than foundation I found this brush did ok with creme blush but I wouldn't do powder blush (it would pick up too much), highlight-yes, contour - no (too little control)
Imo it is comparable to other brushes on the market for a similar price , it does what it said it would plus a couple of other things. Not a bad wee brush B+
Tips: Once you have washed your brushes, lay them flat to dry. If you keep them vertical water runoff will slowly unstick the glue and shorten the lifespan of your brushes.
