Overall, I was impressed with this product. I have previously used and reviewed the version for oily skin (I had purposefully bought that one for a holiday I was taking and wasn't one hundred percent happy with it) but now that my skin is less oily/combination and tends to be on the normal side, I was excited to re-try this version.
The first thing I noticed when trying this cream, was the texture. I love the thicker consistency, and that it feels more like a foundation. It applied really nicely on my skin and the scent was very light, so I didn't really notice that.
I'm so happy to see this in a more compact (and shorter) tube - also, I love the flip top cap and just the all-round ease of use with the package. Very happy!
I trialled the cream on the weekend and times when I didn't require/need a full foundation cover. As much as I would love to be able to use this daily, I just don't feel it gives the cover and longevity I need (not that it should as it isn't designed to be a foundation). So for me, in terms of a lightweight and casual look, I think this is perfect.
Can't say it was quite the "Miracle Skin Perfector" it claims to be! I found it more of just a hyped up tinted moisturiser. I was hoping it would even out the redness on my cheeks or give me enough coverage to hide blemishes for a no make up day - but it didn't quite do anything except make my skin an odd colour. I am quite fair so got the light, but it didn't match me at all, or give me enough coverage to make it worthwhile wearing it. It has a nice light scent and seemed to be quite hydrating and lasted most of the day, but if I was to wear it again i'd still use my normal foundation routine on top - defeating the purpose of this product. I would never purchase it again.
Tips: Borrow a friends to colour match first!
