Maybelline Volume Express Mascara - Falsies Flared

I heard so much hype about this - and new I had to try it! I have quite long natural lashes- and I don't like to curl them, but this leaves them with a nice natural curl and lengthens them too. I'm a fan of more 'spidery' lashes than separate lashes, and this is perfect for both options.

This is a fantastic mascara at a really reasonable price. Makes my lashes really dark and make them stand out. I have never had a mascara that claims to be "as good as false eyelashes" actually as good, so I wasnt expecting that result, which was good, as I dont think it gives a falsie looking result. However really great colour (I got black) and the brush has a nice curve that makes it easy to apply. The only think I cant stand about this mascara is the smell! Very strange smell, almost chemically, but it stops after its dried on your lashes. This mascara doesnt clump for me and lasts all day. Really happy with it and would definitley buy it again.

I love pretty much all the Maybelline Mascaras. Affordable and do a great job.

A thick full coverage, lengthening mascara with a great brush. I do not love the flex in the wand.

I find that the mascaras of late have been drying out very quickly.. I am not sure if this is the product, or maybe because we do not have expiry dates so NZ gets sent old stock?

When this product is new I do enjoy it and have re purchased 3 times. This is currently my favourite Mascara

I have short, straight lashes, I always have to use a curler or you can't even notice them.. Until now! This mascara actually curls, lengthens etc, looks great. Saves time for everyday looks, and adds great drama when lashes are curled first. Nice price too.

i have eye lash extentions and i love them but i dont get them on my lower lashes so i use mascara i brought this after seeing the ads yes it works it does make my lower lashes visible x3 it also does irritate my false lashes and is easy to remove it does dry out rather fast tho youll notice when it does not look that great after you apply as im only doing lower lashes for me it drys out before its finished but as its cheap and it works no complaints here i love it

I love Maybelline mascaras and this one is just as good, it defiantly does lengthen and thicken to give a falsie look. When applying mascara make sure you wiggle the wand up your lashes to keep them separated and avoid clumping. Also i found that i needed to apply a few coats to get my desired look, but i love very dramatized lashes. I would defiantly buy this again and recommend it to friends, its a great all rounder mascara that can be layered up for a night out.

I loved this mascara! I have always struggled to find a good mascara that would keep my lashes curled as well as making them look thicker and longer. I have short straight eyelashes that point downwards and even after curling I find that after I apply mascara they tend to go straight again! The maybelline falsies flared mascara has really made a difference by holding the curl well and I love that it gives the "falsies" effect without the fuss of applying normal lashes! I think for the price it's definitely worth it- especially if you don't have the cash to buy a high end mascara!

Good mascara but a wee bit hyped up. I've tried a lot of mascara's and there is better one's out there. I think it's just a matter of trying out different one's and finding one that works for you. I like how it's buildable but the product dries out a bit too quick for my liking. The brush separates the lashes and gives great volume. I think it's worth a try, it's hard finding the perfect mascara and this one isn't too far off.

I heard a lot of hype about this mascara and finally gave in and bought it and I was not let down! Firstly the brush is perfect (for me anyways). It's really flexible and I'm usually terrible at applying it to my bottom lashes but this wand just works perfectly! Secondly WOW the formula makes my lashes look a-mazing, really full, curls, lengthens and volumises. What else would you need! Thirdly, not too pricey compared to high end mascaras so would definitely recommend giving this one a go!

This product definitely gives your lashes some oomph but I can't say I'm the biggest fan of the formula. I found started to dry out quickly and leave blobs on the wand which is a bit of a bummer. Overall it does lengthen my lashes and makes them look a little more full, I'd probably not purchase this again as I feel like it wasn't as amazing as the hype had made me hope.
