Too Stunning For Words

These pigments are my favourites, hands down. I only have sample sizes of a few colours but I love them all so so so so so much. Besides, I don't think anyone could go through a whole MAC pigment pot... except maybe an MUA?

ANYWAY, I use these pigments wet, by spraying a little of my ELF setting spray onto a brush (not soaking it, just dampening it) and then applying the pigment wherever I want it on my eye. They're so metallic and gorgeous when used wet, some of them look like straight up liquid metal. If you decide to use them dry, definitely do your eye make up BEFORE doing your foundation and such, because there will be fallout. You only need the TINIEST amount for an application and they will last as long as you need them to.

HOWEVER I don't feel like they're any better than, say, my Maybelline Color Tattoo pigments. They're beautiful and some shades are incredibly unique, but if you can find a dupe for a shade that is much less expensive, there is no point in paying full price for a pot of these pigments.

Update: The Sized To Go pigments are 100% worth the money.

Tips: If you get Vanilla, it makes a beautiful face highlight. Also pop a colourful wet pigment on the inner corner for a fun twist to an eye look.

Stunning, reliable, and versatile...

... if only they were more affordable!

Like TraineeMUA below, I only have sample sizes of these, but I have had about 20 different shades in varied finishes, and have adored every single one. I'm currently coveting the pink 3d glitter though after seeing Sharyn Casey post it on her IG!

These powders are literally insane. They are super pigmented with massive impact. They can be used more subtly dry, or built to a stronger look. When used wet, they are electric pops of colour. I love using a wet eyeliner brush and using them to line eyes, or add extra impact by lining black eyeliner with a pop of bright colour.

These will last all day and night, and stay true the entire time - but so they should for that price. I wouldn't ever consider buying a full price full sized pot, but the samples are perfect, and last for a very long time, so are much better value.

Amazing :)

Love the intensity

I bought these a long time ago and I have to say that a little not only goes a long way but are build-able for a more intense colour (and they last the distance as well). I have a handful of colours and some are absolutely better than others (preferences aside) for lasting and also application. You can have so much fun with these pigments... not just on your eyelids but over top of a nude lippy as well... matching lips to eye look or just on lips for a more daring shade.

The fall out is to be expected but depending on application can be minimal.

Tips: I also enjoy foiling with these as it gives less drop.

So beautiful !

I have a few of these in my makeup artistry kit. They are so versatile and I love using them for all different types of looks! I use eye drops to make a paste as I find its a easy way to control the amount of liquid you are adding. It has a beautiful reflect and shows up amazing in photos, all the colours I have are amazing quality and stay in place for hours especially if you use a setting spray on your makeup ! They have a beautiful range of unique colours like no others I have used, a little goes along way! I can't wait to add to my collection! I have so much fun creating intence eye looks with these pigments and I surprise myself Everytime. Such an easy pigment to use!

Amazing Product!

I brought the M.A.C Tan Pigment online for 21USD = 31.38NZD I absolutely adore this pigment, it can be used in so many ways I usually just swipe it over my eyelids or if i want an intense look i use fix+, i also added some to my nail polish, there are heaps of tutorial on youtube for pigment uses. This product can get messy i dont think the container it comes in is great for dispensing, I found it easier to press the pigment into a pan (I just used an empty pan, baking paper and a 50c coin to press it) You should be able to get 3 full 26mm round pans (same size as mac or makeup geek single eyeshadows ) I find I use my pigment more often because its pressed into a pan, its easier to reach for, its in my mac palette, its less messy and less hassle.

Tips: Because it is pricey I recommend going halves or even thirds with others and press them into pans, its better economically, you'll use the pigment more often because its less hassle and less mess than loose pigment but mainly because there is so much product I cant see anyone going through a whole m.a.c pigment container (unless they spill it) there's just too much product. Press yourself a pan and swap/gift or sell the rest.

OMG <3

I purchased this on a whim in blue brown and I fell in love on the first application. It's a duochrome brown shade with bluey green reflective tones. It looks amazing on and I feel like it would suit all sorts of different skin tones.

It can be applied dry or wet (either with a wet brush or mixing the pigment with something like finishing spray), but if you apply it dry I would advise using shadow shields or using a paint pot as a base before application to avoid fall out.

Though the price may be off putting, it honestly is a worthwhile investment. The pigments last ages, like one little pot has lasted me over a year. If you are a little wary of buying a full sized product, they do offer them in a travel size so would definitely recommend that if you want to try these out but don't want to spend heaps.

The product itself is such an easy way to give your eyes a glam look without spending forever on them.

All the good things

I have a mini collection of these, and I'm not going to stop collecting any time soon. The pigmentation is amazing, they're very long-wearing, and I swear they have a colour and/or shade for every skin tone and occasion.

Tips: Always use a primer to give these something to cling to. They'll wear longer if you set with a setting spray like Urband Decay De'Slick/Chill, or Mac Fix+

Super vibrant

I love this pigment, it is really vibrant and pigmented. I love the fact that it is a loose powder so that you can control the amount and the way that you can build a whole lot better then if it was something inside of a compact. It tends to be messy though and will end up everywhere; and since it is in that small container I typically transfer it to something larger.

Tips: Transfer to a larger plastic container to cut down on the mess. Tap lightly in order to control how much you putting on and get rid of the excess.

Amazing

I bought one of these in my Mac Youshop haul from America for my birthday. I picked up the pigment blue brown and in a travel size as I had heard a large one takes ages to go through.

First of all the packaging is very sturdy and simple. Clear plastic to reveal the colour of the pigment as well as a screw on black lid that secures very well. It is very small but there is LOADS of product packed in there and a little bit goes a long way.

I love the duo chrome effect this pigment has. It applys super easy and you honestly need the littlest bit! I was amazed at how opaque and pigmented you could get the colour with only the smallest amount. Depending on the look your going for you can apply more or less and it will maintain the duo chrome effect. I was almost expecting the formula to be chunky glitter but it's not. It's more of a shimmer. It's also very easy to get off when you want it to come off.

I would definitely repurchase more of these! I love the quality and the look on the eye, next on my list is copper sparkle. These are my first Mac products ever and I was not disappointed.

Tips: It pays to use a fixing spray on your brush as it can have a lot of fall out if your not careful!
