L'Oreal Colour Infallable Eyeshadow Review

I have 2 of these, a smoky grey colour and a deep purple. This is the first time I actually spent good money on a decent eye shadow, and wow, what a difference these make! I don't wear make up everyday, but find I get a lot of comments when I make an effort and use this eye shadow. I got the first one free as part of a gift with purchase deal, and was so impressed that I went back to buy another colour. The colour lasts all day and I don't get a build up of colour in the creases as tends to happen with some eye shadows. I am planning on buying some more colours when the budget allows.

Awesome eyeshadow. I have a few of these and I love them. The are very pigmented and they stay on for a long time. If found that because it is a powdery texture that you need to use a harder brush or a sponge tip applicator to apply it. I found my softer eyeshadow brushes wouldn't make the colour as deep as I like.

I have a silvery one I wear over top of a lighter base eyeshadow and it blends in very well together and adds shimmer to the colour.

When I wear these eye shadows I always get compliments. The shimmer can really bring out your eyes.

The only draw back is they can get a tad messy so I usually hold a tissue underneath when I apply.

I love these! I have the WHOLE collection of colours. Basically, they are like a pressed pigment in a small pot.

The pigment obviously is amazing, the colour range is extensive (though mostly shimmery), and the application is super easy. I will sometimes use a wet brush to apply these with in order to really intensify the pigment and make it last (quite good to spray a fixing spray onto the brush).

I quite commonly use the Hourglass Beige or the Purple Obsession, however I managed to get my hands on a matte black one, which is perfect, and is my all time favourite for the smokey eye look.

Certainly worth paying $25 for these bad boys!

I have the shade gold mine and woah mama is this pigmented ! Whenever I want to look a bit more glam I rock this little beauty on my eyelids for a night out. I usually use my ring finger to apply it and i find it really lets your pack on the colour. The eyeshadow feels so soft and velvety to touch and you really get your moneys worth with the high pigmentation, it will last forever ! I got mine at a makeup sale, they usually have them there at a much cheaper price than in the shops. The sparkle and metallic look of this eyeshadow is just so pretty and really gives your face a lil something extra !

I find that goldmine is the perfect gold shade and much nicer than their other ones, it is much more of a bright true gold shade. I have heard they are a dupe for the georgio armani eyes to kill.

The colours are beautiful and really bold, and you can actually get them to be that colour. If you try and brush them on it looks a bit fragmented and doesn't really work, I use a sponge brush or in a pinch a fingertip and wow you get the amazing intense colour exactly like the pot. It doesn't blend well with other eyeshadows so I'd recommend using it last if you're going to layer and use liquid eyeliner on top if you're using it. I'd buy every colour of this type of eyeshadow if I could afford it!

I have the a pink colour which is 004 and love it. So pigmented stays on all day <3. The colour is gorgeous and blends amazingly. Wish they did this in a pallet. I had tried the gold at the chemist and this color looked incredible too cant wait to buy the gold.

I've been wanting to try these for years, but the price has just put me off! Then they came on sale for only $6 ( what a score) I picked up a few colours and I love everyone of them :)! The colour pay off is so pretty and goes on so nicely. I would recommend to wait for a sale on them as $25 is quite pricey for one eye shadow.

If you have a soft brush you wont get the stunning colours in the pot. I found it went on quite light until i changed to a little brush with firm bristles and then the purple was stunning, I get compliments every time I wear it as it really brings out the blue of my eyes. I have the black as well however haven't tried it yet.
