Every now and then I have the need to wear glitter, and I'm not subtle when I do. Glitter is a nightmare to get to stay on your eyelids, especially in a thick enough layering to get the full effect. I have in the past used false eyelash glue (I was desperate) and it worked, but obviously was a sticky mess to remove. I now use my LC Glitter Helper and jeepers, is my life so much better for it!
I use one of those spongy applicators you get in eyeshadows kits, and dab them into the helper and then into the glitter... pat onto my eyelids... and VOILA!! Glitter ball reinvented!!
And it's a lot easier to wipe off at the end of the night.
I really think this is a must have for anyone that likes playing around with glitter.
If you’re going to wear loose glitter on your skin, you need to put on the glue to keep it there, and this product works as a glue and primer to help keep it in place.
Again another product where I am in love with the outer case as well as the actual product itself, I think that is why I am such a huge fan of Lime Crime, they put effort into every detail. This outer box has a pink base with glitter effect over it, so it’s very blingy and girly, inside the tube is actually black with pink foil shiny stars, screw on lid and the Lime Crime logo and writing on it.
The formula comes out as a dollop of white cream, that once you blend onto your eyelids (or wherever you want the glitter to go, no one said you have to restrict it to just your eyes) the cream absorbs in leaving a clear look with a slight gritty texture that feels tacky too, this is what the glitter adheres too, and I have had no problem in getting a smooth glitter application using this glue type cream. It has no fragrance, hasn’t ever aggravated my skin and keeps the glitter on the places I apply it all day, until I decide to remove it.
However, it’s not magic and will only keep the glitter in place, if you smudge it the glitter on top can move around and transfer but that is not what it is designed to stop, its purpose is to hold the glitter to the skin and prevent it falling off which it does beautifully.
