The application of this annoyed me.The sponge really is no good .Felt like it was wasting product also. The product was good , full coverage under my eye area. Blending was no problem, very little creasing.
I think this is a fairly good concealer. The medium colour worked with my skin tones and there are few shades to choose from. The product is semi-thick which gives good coverage. I wouldn't say it gets rid of your dark circles but certainly helps disguise them. Blends in well with different brands of foundation. The stick is easy to use and a great size to carry in your purse for touchups.
I have a problem with dark under eye circles and have not found many products that can conceal this without making the area look worse by creasing, looking dry or looking cakey.
This is one of the better products I have found.
First off the applicator (shown in the picture) is extremely hard to use (my foam part actually pops off all the time which is annoying and not to mention messy) and surely is a breeding ground for bacteria. Anyway, I have the older packaging also, which is just a plain squeeze-able tube which i much prefer.
The product itself gives fantastic coverage and nearly fully conceals my darkness (yay!) but it still can look a bit dry sometimes. It doesn't seem to settle into fine lines as noticeably as some other products and stays in place all day long. I find it blends easily with my foundation and is easiest to apply with fingers or the tip of my miracle complexion sponge (I don't find a brush works well at all).
I would definitely recommend this to others with dark under eye circles that need covering as it does a nice job and is much more affordable than other high end concealers that I have heard this compared to. I will definitely repurchase in the future.
Tips: Use a miracle complexion sponge or beauty blender to blend this concealer seamlessly in with your foundation.
The thing I actually liked most about this concealer is the applicator. The little twisty sponge thing worked super well and I preferred it to other concealers that had a lipgloss or paint brush kind of look. Application was super easy and it did semi cover my dark under eyes but not completely. When I use this on my upper cheek bones where I tend to get some redness that seeps through my foundation, I find it brightens that area and gets rid of any occurring redness :) Generally a good product :)
This is a nice concealer and works under the eyes well. There are better concealers out there and the sponge on top uses up a lot of the concealer so they should design it without the sponge. Good enough
I don't want to give this product a completely negative review, but overall it's just not as good as other things out there.
These do come in a good range of colours so it is easy to find a match for your skin tone, but the formula is quite thick and sticky and it dries very quickly, making it hard to blend out and look natural on the skin.
The way that product is dispensed through a sponge on top of the tube is quite unhygienic to me, as the sponge is always wet with product and probably a good place for bacteria to breed. It's also quite wasteful as you can't control how much product comes out and lots of it sits in the sponge.
I read plenty of reviews raving about it so I decided to give it a try.
Just to let you know, I tried this after using Maybelline's FitMe concealer thinking they'd be as good but I was disappointed. I like the packaging and I like that the applicator is less messy than the wands that other concealers have. Texture is light and does not leave a gunky feel. However, coverage is just so-so. I suffer from dark undereyes so I need something that does an excellent job.
Maybe it's a big yay for others, but for me it's just okay.
I found that I didn't get a lot of product out of this, but it was super fun to use. I like the design and the formula and I would buy this again. I am not sure I found it to be very full-coverage though, which is what I need for my under-eye area.
This concealer is ok. I find it works a lot better than the Fit Me one. The component that delivers the product is a little odd. The big sponge tip doesn't allow for precise application, but I still like the actual concealer product itself.
