Alpine Silk Lanolin Reviving Hand & Nail Crème Reviews

I love this hand cream! I am really picky on hand cream. They can't be too greasy, they actually have to moisturize my poor dry hands and it has to smell nice. This one ticks all my boxes! I love the floral, lanolin smell, it absorbs really quickly and leaves a nice soft finish on my hands and I've actually noticed an increased quality of softness in my skin! I am really impressed that it does what it promises and will be making this a regular in my life.

This hand cream is a bit of a revelation. The packaging is very 'touristy', its not what I'd usually pick up off the shelves.

It smells of something from my childhood - I still haven't pinpointed what or who, but every time I use it the scent gets me. Its fresh, maybe a hint of aloe coming through?

It works immediately, it absorbs into the skin and doesn't leave an icky greasy feel after. I've been using twice a day and within the week, my dry hands look much improved.

I wish it were paraffin free, but I can't deny it's an effective product so I'll suck it up for the results! I'll definitely be keeping my eye out for it to pick up a second tube.

This hand cream comes in a plastic flip case tube with a beautiful photo of Aotearoa and a sheep on it. It's a bit big for the handbag but it stands up on my dresser looking very pretty.

The handcream is a nice creamy texture, not too thick but not runny either. It rubs into my skin easily and absorbs quickly. It leaves my hands feeling nice and moisturised but not oily or sticky like some hand creams. I was really excited about the lanolin in it, because I've heard amazing things about skincare with lanolin. And this has definitely lived up to its name. My hands feel well protected from the winter air after applying this and I don't feel the urge to reapply every 10 minutes. This is definitely the type of hand cream that you can apply just before going out and it'll do its job for a good couple hours.

Another thing I love about it is the fragrance, it's like a bunch of wild flowers blooming every time I use it. It's strong and lingers on my skin, but not overpowering at all. In fact, if they made it into a perfume I'd buy it in an instant! Really happy I got to trial this hand cream, I'm going to have to keep an eye out for it in stores because it's definitely something I'd repurchase!

I was so lucky to be invited to trial this product, thank you BR! This product comes in a convenient tube bottle. It also has a picture of a sheep on it which I am not the biggest fan of for my beauty products, but it's not a deal breaker. It's a thin consistency that absorbs after a few minutes and is non greasy. The scent is pleasant, similar to other hand cremes I used, and I do find it to be quite strong and doesn't fade quickly, which I guess can be a good and a bad thing. I'll be honest compared to other hand cremes in the market, this product is good, but still just your typical hand creme. However, what makes this stand out is that it's New Zealand made and paragon free, and so I am likely to buy this product in the future.

The cream is a medium thickness and easy to apply. It comes in a easy to use squeeze tube. The mild scent dissipates quickly as the cream absorbs. After a few minutes my hands felt nourished and the cream had absorbed. This would be a great choice for daytime where you want to apply and carry on without greasy hands.

I have always had very dry hands. I have to wash them constantly, which makes them even worse. Prior to applying this, my hands were so dry you could see the skin breaking in the creases. I applied the creme before bed to give it a chance to absorb and woke up to well moisturized hands.

I will definitely be buying more when it runs out.

Does the job. Moisturizes well without leaving a sticky film like some hand creams do. Simple Packaging and not too big so would suit the handbag. I'm not a fan of the fragrance however. Obviously it smells like Lanolin - but there is a "chemically" Fragrance that I find a little overwhelming.

I only managed to use this a couple of times before my partner stole it for himself. I found it nice and smooth to use, and the smell wasn’t too bad, quite plain... but I don’t like anything overly perfumes so this was good for me! My partner is a digger operator, and gets covered in mud and dust. He has very dry scaly hands, and he has found this works great for him! He’s mentioned there is a filmy feeling for hours afterward, but he’s happy with the softening of his hands :)

This little hand cream would be perfect for travel or left in the car for dry hand emergencies, the scent is similar to a floral like scent and you just need a small amount for your hands. I've used everyday for a week and it takes away the dryness in my hands instantly but then need to reapply hour or so later. Slight difference in the softness of my hands but nothing dramatic:)

I received this cream as part of a trial team and I have to confess that I did not know much about Lanolin before the trial and would not have considered buying a product with this ingredient. I love that the creme is made in New Zealand and the packaging reflect this in a sophisticated way. The pack size is great for use at home or on the go. The texture of the creme is just perfect, not too thick and sticky, but not thin and runny either, they have really found the perfect sweet spot in my opinion. The creme soaks into the skin fast enough so that you are not left with sticky hands for too long, but its effect on skin moisture is long lasting. The smell is subtle but pleasant, and not "sheepy" as one might imagine from the active ingredient and picture on the packaging. The trial was not long enough to see any lasting effects on skin moisture levels or nails, however I am pretty positive that this is a very effective hand and nail creme. I will definitely continue to buy this in the future for myself and I also think this would make a great gift.

I’ve got a newborn so I’m washing my hands constantly, so they’ve become really dry and itchy. This cream has been a lifesaver! It feels quite thin and greasy when you first put it on, but as soon as you start rubbing it in, it really sinks in. You don’t need too much, and it lasts really well. I’ll definitely be buying this again!
