Original Source Shower Gel

I got this product because one my favourite was running out and two everyone had good things to say about it so finally and third reason being it was on special.

A clear tube thst has a odd shape sitting flat on its flip top lid. A 250ml bottle. This is a really nice sweet scent like eat able and that's all that's good about it. It doesn't foam up or leave you feeling fresh at all. I use quite alot as I don't feel like it's doin anything. I won't be buying this again because in 1 week I used up a 250ml by myself and because it doesn't foam or leave my skin feeling moist,hydrated or fresh.

I noticed this product on the shelf last week and feeling a bit strapped for cash ( I usually go for the Lux) I decided to opt for this product and give it a go since it was on special for $2.50 instead of the $6.20 for the other stuff. Unfortunately after a weeks use its almost all gone. I chose the shea butter and honey, and while it smells good its not very good at cleaning. It didn't seem to lather up and was quite runny so just seemed to run out of my hands before I could even use (which is probably why it hasn't lasted long at all!). Overall quite average and I think I'll just spend that bit extra on my usual stuff!

I'm not one who likes to use shower gels, call me old fashioned but I love solid soaps (anyone remember the Cleopatra soaps they used to sell in the supermarkets?? Big sighhhhh).

I saw the Original Source section in the supermarket and thought nothing of it until I saw the one for "40 Real Zingy Limes". I absolutely love the smell of limes in my drinks, food and cleaning products so I couldn't pass it up especially with that price of $2 (on special). I thought it was too good to be true for such a low price and alas that was exactly the case.

I think the packaging is suitable for this type of product; not too fancy and quite sturdy incase you drop it in the shower. The name of the product is absolutely fitting - it has the most refreshing burst of zesty limes. I spent A LOT of time just smelling the product and dreaming of how good it would taste if it was edible (yes slight wee problem there).

I couldn't wait to try it out in the shower and oh the horror. It's almost useless. I'm not sure whether it's just this lime body wash but I was lucky if I could get a decent lather; I just watched the water take it down the drain. I didn't feel like it cleaned my body (or did a good job of it) and there was absolutely no difference on how my skin felt after a couple of attempts.

Lets go back to the refreshing scent of limes - ahhhhhh - no. The name is fitting but what they don't tell you is that once you work (or try to work) the product into your body; the smell is gone. Not a single darn trace of citrus! How can that even be?! Smells fantastic in the bottle and in your hand but once applied it's non-existent!? So frustrating! Needless to say I walk straight pass the Original Source section now.

I picked up the raspberry and vanilla scented shower gel and it smells soooo good, very tempting to eat haha.

I like he bottle, you stand it on its lid so there's no wasting product. The lid though is slightly tough to open - which makes it trustworthy to not leak but just makes it a bit fiddly.

In saying that though, I feel like the product is wasted because I feel I need to use quite a lot in one wash - it doesnt foam, it feels really thin and when I'm washing myself it feels like its dissolving which makes me get more.

It does leave me feeling clean though and I have soft smooth skin after. I feel like this should cost $2 because it seriously does not last long at all.

After reading good reviews i purchased two. The scent doesn't last long. They seem budget to me and the smell reminds me of bubble bath or a scent for little girls. Wont purchase again.

Yummy and invigorating, the perfect zing for your morning shower. Unfortunately it is so yummy that the bottles dont last that long. i would use this again but would probably go more for something with a little more lasting power. Great to pack in your holiday suitcase.

I do not like this at all. The Vanilla & Rasberry one smells overwhelming & fake. I do not feel that it cleans very well and I'm not a fan of the texture. It's probably the smell of this one that offends me the most. It is cheap and cheerful and not tested on animals which I appreciate - but this is not the product for me.

I bought the Tea tree and mint one, being a sucker and true believer in tea tree I was very intrigued by the mint added to it.

At first I thought it smelled amazing and it was such nice pick me up on the early morning showers. But damn after a while the smell got sickening and too similar to tooth paste. Now rubbing tooth paste on ya body is not nice.

Purchased vanilla and raspberry for me and the lime soda one for hubby as it was 2 for $5. The scent of mine was definitely fragrant, if you enjoy the smell of a raspberry milkshake then this is for you, unfortunately for me not a scent I would purchase again. I could see teen girls enjoying this one. I couldn't help but sample hubbys lime one and I enjoyed this scent more.

Overall id try again but just a different fragrance, handy upside down bottle for easy squeeze and very foamy, didnt notice much of a scent on my skin after the shower but did seemed moisturising.

Good product packaging and marketing with their cleverly written words on the front.
