Great value pore filler

I bought this pore filler from Farmers because I wanted to try a more reasonable value product. I was extremely happy with the results! The texture is quite thick compared to some fillers which I ractually like but feels really weightless on your skin. A small amount goes really far and it leaves your skin feeling soft smooth and perfect and ready to apply makeup. recommend this product and will be using again! The only downfall is that because it is so thick quite a bit is left in the packaging when you are coming to the end of it and cant be squeezed out (I just cut it open and had enough left for a few more days!)

Tips: Leave for a few minutes before applying foundation.

Not my favorite

I really thought the NYX pore filler was not my thing. It felt to heavy on my skin and way to thick (I understand, they are probably supposed to be a bit heavy). Maybe I'm just not a fan of the pore filling primers .. So at least I wouldn't buy it again.

It’s a no from me

I really persisted with this as I had heard great things about NYX primers. I tried it with 3 different foundations and still got the same result. The first thing I noticed was that it’s hard to get out of the tube it seemed to come out in little bits and I felt I had to use so much to cover my face. It did fill in my pores really well and felt good on the skin, I also felt that my foundation looked really good when applied over the top but unfortunately that lasted for about an hour. It started to come apart and left my face looking patchy and very shiny. I think I paid around $15-$20 and considering how much I’ve had to use on each application I don’t think it’s value for money as there are other primers that perform better for around the same price.

Good for targeting small problem areas.

I decided to try this as I suffer from large pores on my nose from time to time and I had read positive reviews.

It suprised me how thick this primer is and that it is a pinky/peach colour but it does blend out nicely to give a invisible matte finish. It does apply thick so you may need a lot of product to cover your whole face if you have dry skin like myself. I mainly use this on my nose as that is the problem area.

The packaging could be better. There is so much air at the top of the tube that when you squeeze the tube the primer shoots out in clumps.

It does blur pores and feels smooth and weightless on but I find it a bit fiddly to use and would rather use my regular hourglass primer to cover my whole face. I only use this now if my pores are particulary large.

I do recommend this product but for targeting specific areas like your nose or chin rather then using it as a full face primer as the price tag of $24.95 makes it expensive for this purpose.

What pores??!!

This has to be the weirdest texture for a primer that I have ever used (laughing crying emoji here), but not in a terrible way. It is chunky, it comes out of the tube like crumbly feta! BUT!! It works like a dream!!! This primer worked great by itself and over my colour correcting primer too so bonus points there! It is super thick but blends out well and leaves that super smooth silicone feel on your face, not a tacky finish (which when trying to cover up pores is neessary) I tried a couple of foundations over top and both held well (from memory it was MAC Studio Fix Liquid Foundation, and Rimmell 25 Hour Liquid Foundation). I did set them with a finishing powder as usual and my skin still looked flawless hours later. I don't like to fill in my pores on the daily, but this is definitely going to get some use for meetings, events and whenever I want to look extra flawless!

Tips: Blend out a single layer, then go back in with a little extra to give the problem areas a bit more coverage.

It Was A Bit Pore

The NYX Professional Makeup Pore Filler is a skin colored silicon textured primer. While it comes out as a paste-like consistence, it separates as you apply it to the skin and also feels more powdery once applied.

Once you've covered the skin, it does feel silicon coated. But for how well covered the skin is, it doesn't blur pores and imperfections that well. And I also didn't find that it lasted.

Another thing to note, is that as it came out the tube, the product sort of spurted and spluttered, rather than coming out is a measured stream.

Overall, I'd probably spend a little more and get a product that has a higher performance.

Putty In A Bottle

This silicone, putty formula is very smooth in consistency and helps blur larger pores.

It has a light skin coloured tint and glides on to the skin well. Personally I apply this on my nose and chin only when my pores are looking a little larger, it wouldn't be something I'd reccomend to apply all over the face.

Sits well under both matte and dewy makeup products.

Tips: I like to apply this primer with my fingers so the warmth of your skin helps soften the formula for a nice application.
