MAC Strobe Cream Review

I like this cream as a pre makeup cream, very hydrating and makeup sits well on it. I also use it occasionally as a highlighter after makeup on high cheek bones and above lips in the cupids bow.

I have used Strobe cream for years; it soaks in easily, makes a great base for makeup, and works as a great highlighter. I wouldn't use it as an every-day moisturiser, but it's great as an instant fix (which is exactly what it's meant to be!)

This is my favourite make up item ever! It gives me anxiety when I go below a quatre of the tube left.. A little goes a long way with this. Its so hydrating and holds your make up for a good 8 hours looking fresh.

I use this as a base before my foundation and it gives a lovely dewey finish... it can also be used above foundation for more of a highlighter/illuminator look :)

This is a must have for me! It goes on lovely on my dry skin, absorbs instantly, hydrates like anything! It's a great primer and preps the skin. I like mix a wee bit in my foundation. It prevents that caked on look. It works great as highlighter at high points. Looks super natural. Its a true multipurpose product.

aah MAC Strobe Cream where would we be without you? Gotta love this stuff, it's actually amazing. On it's own on a makeup free day to give your skin a healthy glow, or a layer applied under or mixed in with foundation. Has pinky pearl pigments that illuminate the skin and give it the glow. It's not a moisturiser, but it glides on easily, is well absorbed and your skin does feel nourished.

I bought this product a while ago and have played around with it but can't seem to get on with it.. I can see why people love it..it has a beautiful feel but I just find it a bit too shimmery for me. A little bit goes a very long way and if I put it on my cheek bones I find it hard to blend without ruining my foundation and it ends up in a bit of a line and doesn't look all that natural. Maybe I just haven't got the hang of applying it yet! But still found it too much of a pearly white shine. Also, when I bought it the sales lady on the beauty counter said to not use it daily as it's a strong product and could dry your skin out, which totally contradicts the description saying it moistens skin and is full of vitamins.. I'm a little confused..I will persevere with this product but doubt I'll be repurchasing.

I struggled with primers etc, it just seemed like another step making getting ready all the more tricky and time consuming. But I was in MAC and saw this product and as a dedicated MAC girl I thought I would give it a try and I have never looked back.

This is a must in every girls bathroom cabinet.. it makes skin look and feel alive and invorgated... I use it when my skin is feeling and looking tired and dull and it always makes me feel better! I got given a bottle as a gift after I had my first baby.. it really helped my skin during those first few months when NOTHING can hide those very tired and dull looking eyes!!!

MAC Strobe Cream is a wonder product. Whether you use in on your skin after moisturising just to add a little glow, or mix it in with your foundation to add a something extra, or even if you just use it on your cheekbones and brow bone to highlight and accentuate - this product is so versatile! It is a gorgeous addition to anyone's make up bag and I can guarantee you will never regret it!
