I recently purchased my first ever mac product and chose a lipstick as im a huge lipstick hoarder I chose the colour vegas volt which is a coral colour the finish for this colour is amplified creme. I must say I really do like this lipstick the formula is creamy and glides on and is very opaque. The lipstick also has a very pleasant kind of vanilla smell. With so many great colours to choose from im making a list of must buys!

My favourite lipstick ever! It's the perfect nude for my nc15/20 skin. It's a creamsheen so it's super moisturising and has a beautiful finish. The only downside is that it doesn't last as long as their other formulas
Tips: Apply to lips then smooth over with finger or brush
At first I didn't really understand what all the fuss about MAC lippies were...now I do! I bought Rebel last year and it remains a favourite. The colour is buildable so you can get a berry red to a rich plum from one lipstick! I've bought a few more since which includes a couple of matte ones. I find the matte ones are more difficult to apply nicely but once you get it right they're beautiful!
Tips: I'd recommend using a lip scrub and a balm before using matte shades as they can be quite drying and are more likely to show up any imperfections on your lips :)
I love the smell, I love the diverse colors and the long wear you can get from one lippy. A all day stay,
Tips: using a concealer in the mid of you lips under you lipsticks could give you a fuller looking lips.
Mac has the best shade selection for lipsticks out of any brand in my opinion. There is for sure a color out there for any body.
I'm a huge fan of their matte lipsticks as they are super matte and one of my favorite lipsticks (diva) is from that selection.
I have used few of these lipsticks and they are to die for. Disappointed they test on animals so won't be buying any anymore. Broke the bank when I was going crazy on MAC lippys. I will use what I have left and hopefully in the future they will be cruelty free so I can purchase from them again :) My favourite shade is a pink they make called 'Candy yum yum'.
A lipstick I do love and have a few colours, 1 I have is the same colour as a lime crime lipstick I have too but I prefer the Mac as it's not as creamy and if your anything like me and seem to rub lips a lot due to the creamy texture a lot then Mac is the way to go. I was disappointed in 1 colour for not having the pigmentation or build up but was a collection lipstick and it's still ok just don't wear it much. They are amazing though and worth the price at the end of the day.
Having already a few mac lipsticks, i feel they are highly pigmented and and very vibrant on the lips. They do not dry out the lips and will not wear out throughout the day. For 40.00 i feel it is a product that is worth the price. Also they have an exceptional range of colours from morange to rebel to even nudes, dark tones and bright tones. It is definetly worth a purchase if you want highend lipsticks :). I know because i own rebel and morange and think they are just simply awesome.
MAC lipsticks have always been my favourite. They come in such a range of colour and finishes (some better than the other) but it's such a variety for people with every skin tone.
Tips: Some matte and retro matte lipsticks may need a primer before hand
I love my MAC Lipsticks. Often they're unique colours that you don't see from other brands. They're also extremely pigmented and come out on your lips just as they are in the tube. The one criticism I have is that 'Snob' seems to run out really quickly. It applies quite thickly on my lips and I don't know how to avoid it.
Tips: Exfoliate your lips before applying as the thick formula (particularly for satin/matte finishes) will show dead skin.
