When I received the package I automatically started to panic a little bit when I realised I was also going to do the trial for the face wash. I actually don't have a great history with face washes and tend to end up going back to micellar water because it just doesn't dry my parched cheeks out.
I took a deep breath regardless and popped it into my shower the day I received it ready for use the next day. I noticed as I went to pop it in that it says soap free so automatically I thought "this might be it!"
The scent: It smells lovely and fresh. Looks like it'll be minty with its green colour but no just a nice fresh scent.
It is very creamy but it doesn't foam which is fine. It has a gel clay texture and actually reminded me a lot of the Pixi gycolic clay wash which I LOVE for the summer months but don't currently have.
I smoothed it over my face and gave it a good massage before washing it off with very lukewarm shower water before I jumped out.
My skin felt very smooth and not tight which is usually what happens when I use a face wash. My serums and moisterisers went over very well and my skin didn't get as oily through the t zone.
I've used it again for the past 4 days and haven't had any further drying. I give this one a big thumbs up if you have combo skin like mine!
It has a nice creamy consistency and I like the clean eucalyptus scent. I don't find it too strong and it does dissipate eventually.
The cleanser is low foaming which I think is gentler and doesn't leave my face feeling tight and dry after use. I feel like my face does stay matte for longer.
Tips: I would recommend using a face cloth or something similar to work the cleanser if you want a more thorough clean.
