L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Colour-Protect Shampoo & Conditioner

I got to use this about 3 times during the trial period, so while I couldn't really determine how well it actually works with keeping my hair colour nice (I think you'd probably need at least 3-4 weeks use for that) - the smell was raelly lovely, it does detangle beautifully like it says and also made my hair really nice and soft and shiny. I can tell that its better than a stock standard shampoo/conditioner. Thanks BR!

Shampoo

I really liked this product, to test this out my hair had recently been streaked blonde which does usually tend to fade out nicely as it grows.

This product had a nice consistency wasn't too liquidy and lathered up nicely. I only needed a small amount of this product. This shampoo combined with the conditioner left my hair smooth and easy to brush.

The packaging was nice and sleek and looks lovely in my shower, the lid is easy to open. This product smells amazing and very much like a salon shampoo, the scent also lasts through to when my hair is dry.

I don't think this shampoo fully protected my colour but it hasn't faded as much as when I use other shampoos.

Conditioner

This product had a nice thick consistency which was great to leave on my hair for a few minutes without dripping off. I only needed a small amount of this product. This conditioner left my hair smooth and easy to brush. It also left my hair feeling lightweight and not weighed down.

I don't think this conditioner fully protected my colour but it hasn't faded as much as when I use other shampoos and conditioners do.

I have been using this set together for quite a while. Though I do find I buy 3 conditioners to 2 shampoos.

The shampoo and the conditioner are both white, creamy and lather up reasonably well.

I have found they sustain my colour better than any other shampoo I've tried in the same price range. While my hair feels miles cleaner and a little softer after using the conditioner, I've found I've had to use a hair serum afterwards to really make my hair feel softer and more hydrated.

I've also found that I go through them quite quickly, especially the conditioner.

I would keep using them until I found something better as they're currently the best products I've found, but they could be better.

I find the L'Oreal Paris Elvive brand overall to be the best supermarket shampoo I've used. The Colour-Protect made my hair super shiny and healthy looking! I would say, however, that it didn't tame the frizzies that much so for me it's a toss up between keeping my colour healthy or keeping my hair smooth and slick!! I chose slick hair! I would however recommend that if you are looking for a shampoo and conditioner for colour treated hair it's worth a try!

When I really can't afford to splash out on salon shampoo/conditioner, I am happy to buy L'Oreal Paris ELVIVE. I blonde my hair so need a good conditioner, and I feel this one makes my hair really nice and smooth.

I tried this for over 6months and it was great!! My hair felt clean, visibily easier to maintain, my hair was more managable to work with, the product smells amazing when you wash your hair and my colour lasted almost a year without looking too silly with my re-growth. I would recommend to anyone who has coloured their hair and is looking for something cheap but will do the job.

I found this product to be a really good alternative to my much loved but far too expensive salon shampoo and conditioner. It left my hair glossy and shiny, and protected the colour nicely. Would definitely use again if I were to colour my hair.

It made my hair silky smooth, but often made it greasy within 24 hours of washing, which isn't normal with my hair when I use other shampoos and conditioners. I have to switch shampoos every few bottles, but I found that I had to use a different product the very moment I finished my first bottle.
