I was very excited

I was very excited to try these out but very nervous aswell lashes is not something i wear very ofter but thes are glue and fool proofe so why not right?

First i applyd all my make up and then mascara and then i did my eyeliner ( magnetic eyeliner) amd then i started to fit them i dont know what i was expecting but i was struggling quit a bit so i applyd a nother layer of eyeliner and then they stuck quit easy the size was perfect and they looked good..

And then i wasent even out the door and they started coming undone at the ends. I didnt want to be iritated or insecure about lashes all day so i just took them of. The eyeliner looked good tho.

Glam by Manicare Magnetic Ladhes

The packaging the lashes comes in is not too bad, but would prefer them coming in more of case like packaging to protect the lashes as they get handled a lot. I personally feel that the 3 very small magnetic strips could either be lengthened or 1 or 2 more strips added. The eyeliner works fine although I tend to struggle witg liquid liner. It is a bit of a mission to get the lashes on and perfect I struggled a but to get them to stick in the middle but I am sure the more I use them and get more confident will get better at putting the lashes on. The length of the lashes are just perfect and looks amazing once on and with mascara added the effect ate gorgeous.

Tips: Ensure that you apply a generous amount of eyeliner on for the lashes to syick more securely and especially in the corners as they tend to lift.

Glam By Manicare Magnetic Lashes

I received the Khloe lashes to review. Each lash has 3 magnets firmly attached to it and can't be seen once placed. Lashes are marked (L) and (R) so its easy to distinguish which lash to place. The lashes are top quality and they look natural. Placed correctly (after a couple of tries for me) they follow the natural eye line and curl of my lashes perfectly.

One draw back that I have found with the product, even though I took extra care in removing them from the tape that holds them in place in the packaging, was that some of the sticky residue from the tape was stuck to the lashes and made it stick to my fingers when I tried to apply them.

Not thinking I reached for my tweezers to hold them and the tweezers being metal didn't work....no guesses there as to why not! LOL.

All in I would recommend this product to friends and family.

Magnetic and Natural

For the Glam By Manicare Magnetic Lashes trial, I had the natural Willow lashes. I prefer to have naturally enhanced lashes over bold falsies and these certainly achieved that.

The lashes had three magnets (beginning, middle, end) and curved to the lash line with the magnetic liner.

What I did notice with these lashes is that there wasn't a huge variance in length from the inner corner to the outer corner, and with the magnets they aren't able to be cut shorter.

If these lashes were more easily adjustable they'd get a 5/5, but other than that I felt they were fantastic.

Tips: The lashes can get a bit dirty from the liner, so you may want to clean after a few wears.

It mostly works

My first experience with these lashes was trying to get them out of the pack without wrecking them. Easier said than done, since the adhesive keeping them in the box seemed to have coated a good number of the lash hairs completely. Once they were out, and I had managed to remove the adhesive with a clean spoolie brush, I was good to go. Mildly frustrating, not a deal breaker though. It certainly flexed the band in the process!

These are not super crazy lashes in terms of fullness or drama. I had the "Intense" lashes, and didn't think that they were massively dramatic, I certainly have others which are longer and fuller, but I think it's potentially because the magnets have to hold them in place.

The magnets are noticeable when you're wearing the lashes, not in terms of seeing them, but in terms of the weight. These lashes feel heavy, both to apply and to wear. Once I realised that they weren't falling off my face, but were just very heavy, it was easier to carry on with, but it was a bit disconcerting considering the amount of time it took to get them properly attached to the liner in the first place.

They don't appear to be intended to use with mascara to blend with the natural lashes, so I just mascara'd my natural lashes, and then brushed the two together. It made taking them off much easier, and no cleaning off of mascara to re-use.

I don't dislike these lashes, and maybe I'll come back to them if/when they release additional lash styles, they do seem a little pricey to get started (just for the liner), but then there pretty comparable in price to other lash brands.

Tips: Make sure you just spoolie through your natural lashes to blend them with the magnetic ones. Don't try and curl them together unless you have a plastic curler. I found my curlers wearing some lovely lashes at one point, and nothing on my eyes!!

Great idea

It was great getting to try these lashes out. I got the intense ones to trial. They come in a lovely easy to open box which can be used to store the lashes in when not in use, I found the lashes a little long for my eyes so cut them. But because they have magnets on each end plus one in the middle I had to cut so one piece has two magnets. At first it feels like you will never get the hang of attaching them but make sure you do at least two coats of the magnetic liner then let it dry, and you will find they stay on easily once in place. They are super light and comfortable. They give your eyes that lovely glam look without looking fake,

I have worn lash extensions a lot and these are nice and easy and much cheaper to use, but still give an awesome look. I thought you would be able to see the magnets but you can’t. They blend in very well. Overall these are a Great alternative to expensive extensions and are much less maintenance. Love them

Tips: DefinAtely use a coat of mascara on your natural lashes and let dry before applying then you will get them looking blended and more natural.

Very natural and easy to use

I reviewed these lashes as part of a trial team alongside the magnetic eyeliner. I found the lashes themselves to be super easy to use and get out of the packet. I've found some other false lashes break or twist really easily when trying to get them out of the packet but I had no trouble with these ones. I reviewed the natural look lashes and I thought the natural look was fantastic - very natural and beautiful. They really accentuated my lashes without making them look fake. I'll definitely use these again and may even try the dramatic ones for a really special night out!

Lashes with a twist

The lashes I had were in the style "Khloe" and were labelled intense, but I would definitely wear these as everyday lashes and I feel that they are on the cusp of going out and everyday. The lashes need to be applied with your hands as tweezers would have the magnets stick to them rather than the liner, which can also get a bit fiddly. When the liner use to stick them down started to crack on the corner of my eye around 6 hours after application, the corner magnetic on the lash did lift as there was nothing for it to stick to. Saying this though, even thought the end had lifted, the lashes never fell off, even in the wind. At first I could definitely feel the extra weight that the magnets added, but after 15min or so, I didn't really notice it anymore. The lashes had sticky spots underneath that held them in the tray instead of attaching by the band, which made it hard to remove the lashes from the tray without distorting them. For days when I do want to wear liner, I would definitely consider using them, and would also recommend to my friends who are confident using liner, but not lashes.

Tips: Stick them on from the outside in to make sure that you don't need to take them off and reapply because they aren't sitting right.

#64 "Willow"

Glam Pro Magnetic Eyelash system by Manicure consists of two products: a magnetising liquid eyeliner, and magnetic eyelashes, both of which are sold separately.

Once the eyeliner had been applied and was completely dry, and mascara had been applied to my natural lashes (see separate eyeliner review for tips), I lifted the Natural magnetic "Willow" eyelashes out of their case. They're lightweight, reusable, and simply clip onto the eyeliner with three little magnets situated on the lash band (one in the centre, and one on each end).

To apply, I hold the false lash with my fingertips and place it as close to my natural lashes as I can, lining the outer edge of the lash with the outer corner of my eye before sticking down the centre magnet. I then attach the outer magnet and then secure the inner magnet, and Voila! No mess, no fuss, perfectly blended lashes. If you need to blend your natural lashes into the falsies, simply use your finger to curl and push your natural lashes upwards. To remove them, grab the outer edge of the lash and gently pull them off.

One thing I didn't like about this eyelash system is that the video on Manicare's website says you can simply pull the "Willow" lashes off and clip on the more dramatic "Khloe" lashes to go from a day to night look. When I removed the "Willow" lashes to show someone what the magnets looked like, it pulled off chunks of eyeliner off my eyelid, so it's not as simple as they say. The magnetic eyeliner does need to be touched up before they can be reapplied, its not as simple as take off and stick back on.

This happened the second and third times that I used the lashes, and I double checked the Manicare video to see if it happened to their "Glambassador" as well, and it looks like it does, although they sneakily cut the video and she comes back with perfect eyeliner before putting fresh lashes on. If you know what you're looking for, you can see where the magnet lifts off her eyeliner in the video, just before they cut the scene. (I'll post a pic of what happened with mine on the Photo Wall).

Overall, this magnetic eyelash system was much easier to use than traditional lashes and eyelash glue. They're easier to fit, as there's nothing sticky on the eyelash band, so you're able to place them right up against your lashes and move them around before having to clip them in place. I loved trialling this system and even though the initial cost is a bit pricey (it's the eyeliner that's expensive), once you have the eyeliner, replacing the lashes if/when they wear out is actually not that expensive. I'd recommend this eyelash system and will definitely continue to use them.

Tips: I tightline my upper lashes with pencil eyeliner before applying the liquid eyeliner and magnetic lashes. This helps to prevent it looking like there's a large gap between my natural lashes and the falsies, if I don't get them on perfectly snug.

I really wanted to love this product....

....but it didn’t really work for me. I’m a daily wearer of a natural a lot of mascara look and minimal eyeliner. I thought this sounded perfect, less time layering mascara and damaging my lashes further (damaged from eyelash extensions) However, I found that with only a thin amount of eyeliner the magnets don’t stick very well. So for a daily natural look it didn’t really work, which is what I wanted it for. The lashes however are nice and very natural. I wasn’t happy that they were glued down by the lash in the box, when I pulled the lash away it had gummy glue residue on it that I had to lightly try pick off. A magnet holding it in would have been better.

Tips: A thicker eyeliner is needed to help magnets stick properly
