Garnier BB Cream - Sensitive Review - Medium

I was very keen but apprehensive to try this product. I have been looking for an alternative to foundation in the summer for a while but found that I am allergic to tinted moisturisers. When the BB creams came on the market I was drawn to the Garnier range because it had a sensitive option and I figured that was my best option.

I am glad I decided to try it because it has become a product I use often. I really don't like putting on foundation every day in the summer so this has been great as it evens out my skin tone and gives me a little bit of coverage without the heaviness of foundation. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a sunscreen in it but maybe that is not possible.

Would definitely recommend to anyone else with sensitive skin.

Surprisingly it did what it said. Just like a moisturiser but better. It gives a light to medium coverage and your skin feel hydrated without being or looking oily. Easy to put on and stays on without needing to set it with powder like foundation does. Also it is easy to layer it up if extra coverage is needed. A go to for all us busy people.

I loved this. I felt it gave me enough coverage without feeling caked on. My only minor complaint is I found it didn't blend so well under neck and on edge of face etc.

I have had this one and the maybelline, comparing the two. Garnier is by far the better out of the two. A positive cheaper to. Garnier smells better, creates a nice light coverage without any foundation needed, especially for the days you don't want too much on your skin.

I find it really difficult to get products that go with my light to medium olive skin. I don't have a tan all year round and so often find that "medium" skin products are too dark. I also find that with an olive complexion I need a more yellow tone too. I love this product as it's actually almost a perfect match to my skin. I even was told by a make up artist at a very well known beauty brand counter that it was a good match! My skin is prone to reacting to different products so I find this sensitive formula works really well. It's not to oily or greasy and the coverage is light to medium. It provides a good base for foundation. I use it every day with or without foundation as it definitely improves my overall skin appearance without any other make up on.

I love this bb cream! It doesn't give thaaat much coverage at all but it evens out skin tone and redness nicely and creates a really nice glow with a really nice finish! Great for days when you just want something light on your face. I probably wouldn't recommend for people with really oily skin as it can highlight oily areas of the face - nothing that can't be fixed with a bit of powder though.

I received this a few days ago, and have made the effort to ensure I use this over everything else.

Packaging: Great and informative!

Product...applied differently each day, and had great coverage! I freaked a little seeing how dark it came out of the tube, but placed it on my skin and was thankful! Came out a perfect match for my skin, let my freckles shin through but got rid of a little redness I had. Once I had powder over top it last all day. It feels nice and light on skin throughout the day! Almost like I wasn't wearing anything but my moisturiser - SO WIN! Helped to have a nice even glow all day :) Unfortunately it didn't cover my dark under eyes very well, it did come off if I didn't use a powder over it in patches and the smell isn't to pleasant.

Overall I did like this product and will keep it in my always go to collection!

I was really, really looking forward to trialling this, after reading to much about BB creams in the last year, but still not quite understanding what they were used for.

Update: I now have a slight summer tan, and the shade is perfect. In fact, I much prefer this as a summer product, for it's lightness. Total convert. And I've also dug out an old, mini stipling brush from MAC, which gives a perfect finish to applying BB, much better than hands. It's now a dedicated BB brush!

And the verdict is, I love it! I've been using it for a few days, and as someone with dry skin, I love the extra moisture it provides that foundation doesn't. It's easy to apply; I used my fingers and palms, and I am usually a brushes-all-the-way girl. It's easy to blend, especially around the jaw and neck.

I have not noticed a reduction in blemishes, however I have noticed a reduction in redness. Use a spot of concealer on any bad blemishes, for extra coverage. I did not expect this product to work as a concealer, so I was not disappointed by the coverage.

My only complaint is that is seems a bit orange tinged; I have very fair skin, and even the 'light' shade wasn't pale enough. They should make it in more shades.

My first ever time using a BB cream I was interested to see how it would go. I love it! I have unusual skin, sensitive & can easily become unbalanced and then I have breakouts. I found the texture to be great, not heavy on my skin, easily absorbed. Easy to apply, smooths out well using my fingertips. I love the fact it has a subtle make up look to it, great for me as Im a busy mum so appreciate some coverage without the hassle. But also love that its light and didn't clog up my skin. Was very happy with it!
