When Shannon Harris used this product in a makeup video a while ago I went to the store to go buy it and was disappointed. The brush the with the product wasn't good at all so I tired my own one with little difference. I found that the powder barley stuck to the gel and would come off easily. Since everyone is talking about how great it is I'm tempted to try it again.

This is the product I turn to when I want a very defined brow, usually on a night out or when I am doing a full face. I would probably suggest medium shade for everyone that doesn't have ebony eyebrows, as I have dark and cannot use for a natural look. I found that when using just the wax, it doesn't last very long, and the powder to set is too red toned.
Tips: Use a stiff angled brush, I like the ELF one
I have been looking for a product for my brows for a while, and untill now everything I came across was either too expensive, or didn't have my colour in stock. So when I heard about elfs kit on shaaanxo I had to try it! So cheap and works exactly how it says it will. Love the combined powder and gel for a compete natural look. Great value for money and I definitely will be purchasing again
Tips: Use a different brush
This product has definitely gotten me into doing my eyebrows! When i initially started looking for a brow product I knew I wanted a gel and powder as I still wanted something that would look natural (couldn't really do the brown pencil well). After looking at various reviews, there were some definite standout products, but most were more than I was willing to pay to begin trying out a brow kit. Enter the E.L.F kit, which people seemed to be raving about in terms of results and value for money.
I bought mine off iherb.com - this is a great place to buy cheap elf products (this was before they started selling in kmart).
It comes in a handy flip top compact with the brow gel and the powder and a small two headed brush. I vary between using the included brush and one of my own as I like how small the brush is. It's also handy for traveling due to it's small size and no need to pack and extra brush.
The texture of the product is great, and I find that a little goes a long way for me so it last's quite a while. I find it also lasts well on my face but I usually finish it off with some translucent powder (also helps if I've done it a bit too dark).
I would happily pay more money for this product and will keep using!
Tips: I have really dark eyebrows, but I went for the medium as it was recommended that it gave a more natural look. So I would say unless you have jet black brows the medium should do you fine.
Use whatever you use to set your make up on your brows too for more staying power.
This is the first product that I have ever used on my brows, and I think that it is such a good beginners item. The price is fantastic and I really like how you can use the product sparingly for a more natural looking brow or build it up more to create more definition. I personally only need to use the wax side of the kit, but each to their own! I also don't use the brush that came with it any more as I have found I can create a better eyebrow look with another brush, but I also found the brush that came with it to be fine, particularly when I was just starting out.
Tips: Trial with other brushes!
I've recently been converted to an ELF fan, so I was expecting good things from this product, and it definitely held up! You do get what you pay for, but the product itself is a really nice formula that glides on smoothly and stays put. The packaging how ever, is just what you would expect for the price, it's nice enough, but quite simple and obviously cheap, the window fell out of mine before I even got it out of the packet, so that was a bummer, I taped it back in on my friends advice that it might dry out, and that seems to have done the trick. The brush is pretty average, I really struggled to achieve a nice result with the gel until I got a new brush, but I do still use the mini brush for the powder side of the product. All in all, its a really nice product for the price, its gives great results, but you do get what you pay for in terms of packaging.
Tips: Definitely invest in a better brush!
So I bought the elf eyebrow kit in medium because well why not!! It was $3 off iHerb! And its pretty darn good I must say! It's no Anastasia dilbrow but for the price its a must have and a steal! love the gel, not to sticky or what not. The brush isn't the best though.
Tips: Use a different brush
OMG I have never found something so amazing. Easy to go on. Smooth like a cream but goes on and looks like a powder. Easy to use too. Very true to colour and easy to blend with the 2 sided angled and non angled brush. I found this less harsh then a pencil so it looks natural and fresh. I would def recommend (and I am) to everyone I know. Very reasonably priced too, so its win win.
Tips: Use the angled sided brush as an outliner You can blend the colours depending on your eyebrow preference Start off slow and build! It is stronger than it looks and you use less then you think you do (which is a good thing too) Stock up! You will re purchase more times over and over as its a very reliable product.
I use it daily, to the point that my face without it has started to look strange to me. If you don't use it too liberally then it can look very natural and I love how loose the powder is, as other brow kits I have used feature a really pressed powder and you can't use it properly. The wax is nice and can help hold down stray hairs.
I have recently began using this eyebrow product! It really does my eyebrows justice! I have always been scared to fill in my eyebrows because of feeling they look too thick or too dark - as i am very fair. I love this stuff though! The gel and then the powder is just a perfect duo! I have it in Ash and it matches my skin tone the best!
