I am very fair and I have that blue toned darkness under my eyes that many of my pale friends will know about. I have searched for years to find a concealer that would properly cover the darkness under my eyes. I had heard about this product for ages and so I decided to finally invest in it.
I am not in love with the formula, it is quite thick and can be a little drying but the actual colour (I use porcelain bisque) is an amazing peach tone that really just lightens up my whole under eye area. I like to apply it using an eyeshadow brush so I can control the amount of product, a little goes a long way. I then apply concealer over the top and set with powder. I find that it looks a little cakey at first but within 30 mins it settles into my skin better. You definitely need to apply concealer over the top as it is a pretty unnatural looking colour as it is so light.
Pretty sure I wont be able to live without this product now, I love that people aren't saying I look so tired anymore!
I was really disappointed in this product. I purchased it after trying it in store and loved the colour correcting it was able to achieve. I normally just use concealer, but was looking for a little boost to really cover my dark circles. Skip to the end of the night when i looked in the mirror again and i noticed it had sunk into my fine lines making them appear much larger than they actually are.
So i thought, ill give it another go, seeing as i purchased a pottle. But.... no luck. Ive tried it with many different concealers, with and without setting it. I tried to 'bake' it, i tried micro-setting powders, bb-powders, and normal mineral powders. But i always end up with the same result within a few hours, it just settles into my eye crease and makes me look like i have wrinkles.... or don't know how to do my make-up.
I have switched back to just using concealer and have not had a problem since.
Tips: Try at least a full day before you buy!
